Corbie had one of the hives open, thanks to the clever almost-hands of the kinkajou that was her friend and constant companion. It wasn't time to harvest the honey yet, but she'd opened it up to check on the hive itself. A completely empty hive body was nearby - one of the other hives was showing signs of getting ready to swarm so once she finished her inspections she was going to split that hive into the empty one, so that they wouldn't be tempted to leave for potentially greener pastures. Ren was standing nearby, patiently holding in her mouth a smoker that she occasionally puffed into the hive at Corbie's direction. Finally Corbie nodded to Ayer to close the hive up, then stretched her back and shoulders out, shaking to loosen everything up as she moved over to the hive she needed to split. This was going to be a bit more complicated, and she wondered if she should have asked anyone to assist so they'd have the opportunity to learn this particular part of caring for the pack's apiary.
