The night was young and a very young pup found herself wandering the place...it was clear she was lost and perhaps she had lost any sights of whoever was her parent if any.. The crickets filled the place with their calls, a distant owl could be heard. The pup was clearly looking for her parents but there were no traces of them. She whimps and grunts but no respond. She was starting to feel very hungry and cold, but what else could a very young wolf do?

She walks until she reaches a puddle from the recent rain. She slowly starts to drink from the muddy water..but there wasn't any other water source so she was forced to use this one.

When I fall apart, Promise in the dark The winter in Auster was unpredictable sometimes, but Bae-Syl had grown used to that. Weather was a fickle thing. One day it would rain the next it would snow. With lucette home and pregnant, it was becoming Bae's job to make sure everything was there that they needed for when she would give birth. That's what had the young man out tonight. So far from the borders of Ethne. Ruby was situated on his back, his companion silent, like always. The macaw was his ever faithful companion now, watching his back and helping him keep an eye on Luce when he needed her to do so. It was at the dam that Bae came across something that stopped the combatant. His eyes followed her for a few, trying to decide what she was doing here, alone. A small little thing, a mere pup. Had she been abandoned? Was her parents dead? He watched for minutes until she went to drink from a mud puddle, then he acted. His paws brought him into the open area, mud covering them. Luce was going to have a cow, he'd explain later though. He approached her carefully. "Don't drink that kiddo. It's filthy and probably will make you sick." he came to a stop in front of her, head lowering and eyes coming level to hers. "Where's your mom and pa?" he was gentle with his question in case she had seen horrible things like he once had. One couldn't be too careful with kids, especially if they were all alone. Walk, "talk", Think You'll be my nightlight

The pup soon learned this wasn't the best water, just the first drink from it made her gauge and cough, she shook her head trying to cease the horrid experience she had gotten into. The young pup sighs as she looks around, it seemed only she lingers through these empty lands. She didn't feel scared but she wondered where her family went...but hours went since she last saw them. And as the hours went her hunger grew with the time, eyes of lilac showed clear signs of exhaustion and thirst.

The pup now with her muzzle covered in muddy water sits down and waits..still hoping for her parents to return. That is until she spots a large figure approaching. She stands up and wags her tail thinking it might be her dad. But soon enough it is clear it was a stranger. "Hi!.." She greets, curiosity outweighing any common sense or fear. "Dunno where go." She tried to explain her limited speech.

When I fall apart, Promise in the dark Bae waited patiently, until she spoke. She said she didn't know where they went. Judging by her size she was about half a year old, not an age he would let a pup be alone at night, or out of their bed. A raised brow at her speech though came from the man. Either she was foreign or her parents weren't developing her speech skills with her. "How long have you been alone?" Gods above he probably sounded like a creep. He hoped at least though that she might not think of him as so, besides it wasn't every day you found a pup all alone at night. He lowered his rump to meet the ground, and kept his head at her eye level, his blue orbs looking into her purple ones. Walk, "talk", Think You'll be my nightlight

She yawns a bit as she keeps her lilac eyes on the stranger, finding him entertaining enough to distract her away from the hunger she was suffering right now. Her tummy growled as she listens carefully. It was true her parents didn't care enough to help her with her speaking skills, it was clear she couldn't talk as well as she should at this age. Even though she was mere months old, her size made it look she was older. "Hm...morning. The morning" She tried to say they were gone since this morning. "Food?" She asks him, fear didn't exist within this pup.

She takes her time to check in on this stranger, she liked his coat. "Rainbows!" She commented about his curious pelt,

When I fall apart, Promise in the dark The answer was not one he was wanting, if he was honest. His ears pressed back as she answered and asked him for food not even seconds later. He could take her home with him, but that also meant he would have to return before he found the plants Gav and Luce had told him to go find for Lucy. She was hungry and hadn't seen her parents all day. If he took her to Ethne with him though, would it be kidnapping? Bellamy would have his head if he kidnapped some pup, but with no sign of her parents he didn't want to take any chances with leaving her for a bear or a tiger. He gave a sigh. He hoped he wouldn't regret this later and lose an ear or something for it. "I don't have any food on me kiddo, how bout we go back to my home and we get you some clean water and some food." She seemed infatuated by his rainbow coloring and he gave her a smile as she barked out about the stripes he wore. Lucette would have his hide if he left a pup alone, but Bellamy would have his ear if he kidnapped some pup. Truthfully he feared Luce more though. The reason being was he could fight back against Bellamy, but he couldn't against Lucy. He gave the girl a smile and stood up and went to start in the direction of Lucy's den, Where he could stop and grab Bells on the way home. "Name's Bae-Syl by the way kiddo, how bout yours?" Walk, "talk", Think You'll be my nightlight

The girl's tired eyes never leave the adult's face as he talks. Doing her best to understand as much as her growing brain can pick up, it seemed whoever was her parents didn't invest much time teaching her anything. Why else her communication skills were so bad? So poor? The pup licks her lips as he mentions there is food where he lives. Too brave for her own good Nova didn't put too much thought into the possible dangers that could come by following a stranger into a strange place. But with an empty tummy, there wasn't time for double thinking. "Okay!" She said clearly excited. "Bae..siuuul" She did her best to repeat his name. "Nova!" She shared without hesitation.
