The small pink and white wolf looked at the cedar trees with disdain, much like her own mother had a lifetime ago unbeknownst to the young healer. Sure she still had her heart set on proving herself as a warrior, but the pirate raid had shown her that she would always be at a disadvantage. She would have to be far smarter when it came to fighting... she would have to use all the tools at her disposal, and what burned worse than antiseptic? (Well, that wasn't outright poisonous... hey, she hadn't even considered that yet...)

She directed her black-backed ibis closer to the green pods on the branches above. She had been able to gather herself a small pile that she had diligently tucked into the pockets of her vest with her finger-like digits, but she was on her way to the Armada, not from it, and the plain was a bit of a detour she'd rather not take twice. “No, dumbass, I don' need th' needles! Kuzu!” It helped that not only was it the dumb ibis's name, it also meant garbage in her father's tongue. She should have chased him off and found herself an opossum to compliment the bored looking golden cat lounging half way up a tree nearby. At least he was useful in a fight.
