Summer was full bloom as the Carpathians were making their way back home to the southern continent of Auster. Wanting to hold on to the warmth of summer for a little bit longer, Bramble had hung back for a day or so to enjoy the prairie. She stretched her long legs out across a flat boulder as she lay on her side with her head raised. Both ears switched back and forth as she watched the rabbit and deer wander around the tall grasses. It was quiet today aside from the whistle of the wind and the occasional call from a song bird. Clouds were sparse as the sun rose into the afternoon sky. Warming her fur, Bramble basked in the warmth for as long as she could.
