Time To Be Together

It was a new morning, and as Bellamy had predicted the moment slightly warmer temperatures came the snows melted. She had spent the morning patrolling the territory of Cattail Creek. She had taken up patrolling it for now, wanting Bae-Syl to stick close to Lucette and his newborn children. It would be wrong to ask more of him right now. He was learning to be a proper mate for Lucy, and to be a father. Bellamy wondered if perhaps she had been too harsh with him… the man really was trying his best for his family. For her family. It was amazing to her just how much effort all the members of Ethne put in. Some more than others, sure, but it reminded the woman that in the end they were all a unit. A family… and the woman wanted to spend more time with her loved ones.

She had yet to really spend time with most of her children since Gavroche’s passing. She had taken the day before to speak with Dorian and remind the boy he was loved, but today… Today she wanted to spend time with Corbin. Corbin had been the first one to find Gav… and to place his head and wings back where they belonged to the best of his ability. Though the killer had now been dealt with… Bellamy was sure that, like herself, her children felt pain and hate in their hearts for what happened. She couldn’t blame them. What happened to Gav never should have happened… but… Bellamy hoped to offer that a light of hope with some news. How would Corbin take it though? Now that her patrols were over it was time to find out. She tilted her head back, calling to see where Corbin might be within Ethne’s territory, and see if he would come to her.
