To nobody's surprise, Calliope was in a mood. A moody-mood sort of mood that made her want to lash out. Mm, yes. Inflict pain, suffering, chaos. All those negative, bad things that others would typically cringe at. She didn't care though. No, actually, the sight of blood made her smile. Weird, but alright. The girl is strange and it makes her kind of pissed off. Would others call it blood thirsty? Not that she had a word for it. She was a baby. A baby with too large paws and sharp teeth that needed to cut into someone's skin.

As it would happen, her brother, Ken, was just the target. Walking into the dilapidated building they called home, Cal let out a puppy-like howl for her brother. "KENNY!" She screeches as she prowls through the shadowed hallways. Her hair is already standing on end and her bright blue eyes search for him.

His ears perked up as he heard his sister call and Ken's chocolate dipped tail took to waving a mile a minute as his paws slipped over the slick tiles that made up the floor of the foyer. His back end completely slipped out from under him as he rounded the staircase, his golden eyes falling on his sister's vibrant silhouette. Already, he knew that tone in her voice, knew she was after a scuffle and for once in his life, he wanted to be the one to land the first blow... not that anything in his approach was quiet or stealthy.

Like a bear-cub chasing a bird, he was all flailing legs and cuddly round energy as he charged, mouth open but smiling as he bit at the loser skin and thick fur just behind her right ear. He had come at her head on, so it wasn't like she shouldn't be expecting it.

Calliope heard her lug of a brother heading for her from across the room. Her own paws tended to slip and slide on the slick tile which was why she wasn't running around. Unlike Ken, who she could see from far away, had fallen onto his behind. With all legs and no balance, Calliope almost breaks out into laughter. How ridiculous could he be! Continuing to head toward him while he headed toward her, Calliope grinned the whole time. There would be no escaping her now!

Preparing to leap onto him as he drew closer, her back paw slips against a stone and sends her sprawling. In that fluid motion, seconds before her chin slams into the ground, she feels Ken's teeth yank on her skin and fur. A yowl escapes her lips as she folds her ears and slams a paw onto the tile floor. She refused to be bested. Her competitive and vile nature wins over. Twisting until she was on her back, she aimed to kick him as he continued to sail past and hope to knock him over.

He'd let go as she began to twist about on the floor and immediately regretted it as her paw kicked out and kicked him right in the balls. He yelped sharply, losing any strength in his legs, bringing his weight down on top of her. He didn't want to smother her, but the air had been pushed from his lungs and tears were gathering at the backs of his eyes. He saw stars for shits sake! As the ringing in his ears subsided, he thought better of it. Maybe if he just sat on her and caught his breath for a minute, she'd give up?

When she felt her paw connect with his balls, a cackle quickly followed. Really, it was a deep belly laugh that made her scrunch up and hard to breathe. With her eyes closed and paws practically flailing from how hilarious it was to have done real damage to her brother, Calliope did not see him begin to fall down on top of her. It wasn't until the last second when his big bum was pressing down onto her legs does she open her eyes and notice him. "Aye, fatso watch it!" Cal screeches as she peels her lips back in a snarl, half-playfully and half-seriously snapping at his body in hopes he'll roll over and get off of her.

Unfortunately for Calliope, her brother's heavier weight keeps her pinned. No matter how much she struggled, she could not slip out from underneath his fat butt. Wriggling and practically thrashing around, the colorful girl tries to snap at her chocolate-splotched brother. "C'mon! Let me up!" Cal screeched as she flailed her paws that weren't trapped underneath him. "I give, I give! Ya got me, okay!" She closes her eyes and snarls some more, hoping he will take pity on her now that she has yielded to him. How was it that he was able to sit on her like this anyway?! Was he really that much bigger than her? Last time she'd checked, she had been the tallest of the bunch! Still grumbling, Cal finally loses the energy to keep struggling and lays on the ground, glaring at her brother from the corner of her gaze.
