Paws cascaded against the ground in a flurry of dust and earth, each push upon the ground set the rhythm and echo to the mottled-brutes heartbeat. A race across the earth of mortality and need was the emotion his dash seemed to extrude, but despite all the madness that drove him forward, there something else, shown by the raised head and a flash of colour in eyes bright, glorious and luminescence in their brilliant tones of jade, a shine that set a glow against a darker coat. It was within these shinning, swirling orbs that one could see an air of excitement and life, a joy to a chase that could not be understood by any but the brute who's paws carried out the beat.

Paws landed upon the territory of Alacritis and brought him into the land that part of his family had migrated to. He chased tales and whispers, ideas and possibles that well held no truth held within them a hope he could not deny nor close his mind against. It was for these ideas, these whispers that he brought himself with the joy of speed and abundant recklessness into the lands of Alacritis, into it's midsts and body and beyond until his paws touched the border of its east territories, with no markers to tell him where he had come to.

His pace finally slowed, his flanks rising and falling with heavy breath as he paced himself with a slow walk, cooling the fire that touched his veins, and knew he had not run off all the emotions that swirled and lived inside of him. He slowed until his paws had halted against the earth, and the odd shine of his upper-half deepened blue coat seemed to shine against the warmth of the sun, sleek with the effort of his run. He looked about himself now, into the woods, and his nose took to the air. First thing first was finding a wolf, he needed to know the packs that ruled this world if he was to find what he was looking for.

The alabaster she wolf would traverse the ground steadily, her breaking heart carrying her on as she searched for her lost love. She still would not believe him gone, he couldn't just up and leave her so easily. They has true love, wasn't that enough for him? They had a beautiful family and they ran a pack together, he had always been so protective how could he just leave her? Her eyes were saddened and her demeanor down trodden as she put forth her last ditch effort to find him once more. He couldn't just disappear as Jupiter had, this was too hard. He had children not even weaned at home how could he so easily leave them?! He sorrowed heart would wear he out, when normally such a journey would have been simple she found it hard to catch her breath. Her trot would come to a halt as she felt her haunches fall to the earth beneath her. Just a small stop before heading home and giving every one her decision. Cherokee would be mourned, but she still hoped within her deepest heart that he would come back to her one day.?

As she would sit within the confines of the wood a strange scent would come to meet her. Bicolored gaze of gold and yellow would find the form of an odd colored wolf. She knew not the owner of the form, so because she had no guide beside her she refrained from making any comment to him. Song would sit, recovering her strength and wondering about the stranger.?

A scent fluttered towards the still brute even as her pale form slid slowly into view, sliding through the shadows of the trees where to his eyes it seemed the sunlight did not touch her, he paused, and the radioactive glow of his eyes would find there way to her form. His eyes touched hers for the longest moment, and his head would tilt to the side in puzzlement. Longer moments would drift them by and still this stranger did not speak, nor move from her sitting position beside him. He could feel the fur upon his back prickle with an odd sensation of weariness. Her silver coat so luminescence in shone with the same brilliance of the moon, her silence so full it screamed at him and he wondered what sort of other-worldly creature he had stumbled upon.

The silence chilled him to his core and finally, stiff muscles moved and un-tensed beneath him through sheer will power alone as he took a hesitant step towards her. He blinked, half expecting her to vanish in a puff of fine mist at his hesitant steps, when she did not he took in a breath and let his confidence return to him. His eyes now moved off that glow of her coat and onto her finely glowing eyes, and he would pause again. Those eyes where not mortal, they where like nothing he had ever seen before and the jokester could find nothing here to say. He was sure that this being ethereal and was unsure if her appearance was a sign of good luck or an omen he should heed.

He slid another trembling step forward and fell to his knees before her, lowering his head and gaze from this angels translucent coat. ?Spirit, why are you here?? he would whispered softly, the awe in his tone ruined by his trembling form.

She'd hoped to keep herself from him, not feeling completely like herself let alone in top condition it could have been lethal for her to meet up with a strong wolf who did not wish her existence. However the dark colored brute would lay eyes upon her easily as she took her rest stop. He would look upon her curiously, as though he would expect her to leap upon him at any moment. Their eyes would stay locked as he took her in wearily. She would keep herself stoic, had he wished and attack before it was likely he would have already jumped. Her feint heart would hardly be able to stand it were he to attack suddenly. His stiff joints would begin to move him, she would watch as he brought himself slowly toward her, but a slow step at a time. It would almost remind her of stalking prey had he not seemed so apprehensive. Three more steps would be taken towards her before his shaking would bring him to the ground, his knees kissing the earth. He would lower his crown and avert his gaze as the first words were given up in offering. "My name is, Song, not Spirit. I'm journeying home, there's certainly no need to be so afraid. Unless you mean me or my pack harm." her words were kind as she lowered herself to look back into his eyes, she wondered how he saw her to so easily mistake her for an apparition.?

His eyes would shoot back up towards her as she spoke, and well her voice was kind it held reality and substance, he blinked, and looked at her more closely, saw the texture of her coat and tiny imperfections of knots against her fur, the slightest stains of grasses against her paws. He had the good graces to blush and lock his eyes onto her mysterious orbs once more. He was closer now, and she seemed somehow more real, although the opalescent shine of her coat was no less beautiful with the nakedness of reality. He fought for a moment with himself, the joker in him coming out in the impish smile he offered her.

He would wrestle back some honour from his silliness with a few carefully chosen words rolled in his smooth tongue ?Forgive me, My Lady Song, if I saw your beauty as otherworldly.? he soothed and finished it with a wink as he straightened again, appraising her with a tilted head and curious, gleaming eyes. ?And also for my rudeness, I'm Fenris and you say your from a pack? Perhaps you could be so kind as to aid me with some knowledge?? he saw the opportunity to learn from this pack wolf and he took it, his eyes dancing now as he looked her over. Gone was that weariness that had ruled him, and here was the player, the joker who held looked to hold her with amusement.

His gaze would peer at her as though she had suddenly transformed, not the wolf she was only seconds ago. He would observe her slowly, his closeness and curiosity welling up within him to release a good natured smile. She would peer at him, as her own features held a tired smile. She would do her best to keep the heartache within, she wouldn't show this stranger and she couldn't show her children. She had to be strong for them, she had to hold out while their family dealt with the loss of a father and husband. The man before her would return her to the present his words of apology and reasoning. He had first seen her as a figment, a vision. Could the gods be playing tricks upon his eyes? Why had they brought him before her now, to stand and ask of her home. He was called Fenris, and as he spoke the weariness he had so previously held would dissipate. She would feel her own guard return involuntarily, but she would not flee from him yet. "Good day Fenris, indeed, I am the oracle and alphess of the pack Ludicael. We are a scholarly pack so if it is knowledge you seek you will certainly find it there." her answers would be kept relatively vague until she knew exactly what it was he would seek. She still felt a bit of unease around him, and would not wish to divulge information she would regret giving later.?

The impish smile would hide the careful examination of her features, as he held his handsome body to attention and inspected her gently enough to see the lines of tiredness within her smile and wonder at the contents of her day for what had taken so much of her energy and life from her. He watched her and saw her humanity, saw that she was not the ageless apparition he had somehow taken her for. She was yet to rise from her position of seating and of politeness he would settle his own rump once again upon the earth, although this time without the dazzled wonder that had brought him to his knees but moments before.

She did not seem fooled by his flattery, perhaps even became weary of his impish lightness as she finally spoke, and yet again she would amaze him. This time it was more earthly concerns that blew him away as his appraising eyes settled on her unnerving orbs. He would move to dip his head low in respect for this stranger, this being who had brought herself to leadership within the pack Ludicael. ?I would certainly be interested to hear more of your pack, My Lady, and of your definition of ?Oracle? but in the mean time I would settle for any knowledge you might hold of my family. I am from the Sovari family and heard whispered that some of my brothers might have made their way to these lands. I search for Friction, and Cyrnik. Do any of these names ring a bell?? His tone was smooth and gentlemanly, his smile did not waver through his speech and his eyes still singled her out for detail and reactions.
