The earth had settled not long ago, Song had kept herself and her brood within the confines of their den. They would watch as the earth would tremble and shake underneath them, and just as quickly as it had started the quake would end. She had yet to travel the territory, to see what has happened and the aftermath that had been caused. First she had to make sure her people were well. There were many she had not seen since the last meeting, and just as many that had not attended a single lesson as was required. She felt as though Ludicael was dying, and she has to revive it. She would nuzzle her children into wakefulness, she would introduce them to the pack and appoint all the new pups who would show up into a position of student. They were all old enough to start their lessons. If there would be any lessons. She would plan on rearranging many of her ranks as well. There were promotions... And demotions she had to announce and give out. It would be a rough meeting for her, Cherokee seemed all but lost to her. The more time that would pass the more certain she was about the fact as well. She was alone now, left to raise her children and the pack on her own. With few she could trust to help her rule she knew there was much work for her to get done. The pale woman would bring herself into the clearing before her den, calling for her family and her pack as she tilted back her head. She would recline her her haunches and wait, watching as her youngest children would crawl from their den.?

?ooc? alright so here is the low down so far, if you want your character to be in Ludicael you must post in this meeting. Otherwise Song will assume them gone. The new ranking system will be announced in the next post as soon as I know who I will have to work with. Please post by April 8th.?

Novella had never felt a small earthquake before, let alone one as large as had recently occurred in Alacritia. The trembling earth had been rather disturbing and whilst she wasn't sure where to go in this awful situation she had retreated to her den despite the longing for company to at the very least reassure her that everything would be fine. It fortunately wasn't long before the tremors died away but the an almost eerie peace that had been left behind still wasn't overly comforting. Would there be more?

The call of her sister gave Novella other things to think about though. Never had she wasted time in rushing to her family upon their call and today most certainly wouldn't be the start of ignoring them. She was glad that Song was calling them all she could figure though was that the meeting was mostly to check that each member of the pack was ok after the earth quake. Hopefully everyone was ok, she was unharmed herself, though nerves a little shaken.

The first to arrive on the scene from the pack, Novella greeted her family with affectionate nuzzles, glad to see that Song and her children were all fine. "Song, what was that?" Novella questioned, turning her attention back to her sister now. "It won't happen again will it?"

Dutiron had spent the majority of the earthquake casting his gaze between the world outside the den and the faces of the family members that surrounded him. It was a rather scary experience really, especially for one so young, and he huddled close to them for comfort. The worrisome feeling he had made it seem like the world had trembled for longer than it actually had but at last it had all stopped. He remained quiet through the eerie peace and silently followed his mother outside of the den.

He remained by her side for now, not entirely sure what he ought to do with himself for now nor entirely certain what was actually happening. The earthquake had unnerved him a little though, so whilst his curious nature begged him to ask his mother what was happening, he remained silent as he waited for all to be revealed.

The ground had trembled and she along with it. Canta was not used to tremors especially not ones that lasted near as long as this one. It has been followed by a few aftershocks but now the earth seems still? almost steady again. The yearling had kept herself in her den, and not for the first time had she wished she was back in the den she had been born in, but with the pups and Canta being as big as she was there had been no room and so she had faced the quake alone. She had been standing at the mouth of her den, unsure when her mother?s call reached her.
She began off at a decent pace, arriving not too long after her aunt. It seemed they were the first two there then, the new pups not included as they were more than likely dragged along by her mother anyways. She allowed a smile as she approached, despite the awkwardness she felt still around her new siblings. Canta approached her mother, gently bumping into her with her shoulder. ?If you ever need anything?? She whispered, with her father gone she knew it could not be easy for her mother? she would offer what assistance she could.
She turned to her aunt then, stepping away from her mother. ?Gods I hope not!? She said, knowing it wasn?t really an answer.

Sha had survived the earthquake, that was a surprise to her. The ground shook like nothing before and it had frightened her like nothing before. It had made her less afraid of the dark, and more afraid of being alone though. So as she hadn't seen much of the ludicael wolves, this was still her home. The dog made her way to the call easily. Though she hadn't escaped without a few scrapes and bruises, so her walk had a bit of a limp to it for the small dog. Her right leg had a small wound on it, and her ribs were a bit bruised as well but nothing some rest would fix.
Only a few remained or rather had arrived so far as the limping dog blinked sitting a bit ways away from Song. She was nervous still around the others, scared of what they thought of her and what the gods thought of her as a whole. She hadn't done anything but attend meetings for training so far, but she did decide she wanted to heal, and learn more about the gods. So that one day she may pass the knowledge on.
"Song, you're okay!" Sha said with a wag of her tail a small whimper escaping her lips from the joy that she was okay. The only wolf to really accept her when she had no family with lack of memory. Though seeing the others she calmed down slightly and sat still.

Dhiren was out and about, patrolling the borders and ensuring a safe home for the pack when Song's howl filled the air. He froze, right paw in midair, before it touched the ground as his whole body turned in her direction. Nothing could keep him from his mother, especially after they had made up. His lanky frame that was slowly building muscle rushed through the woods and across fallen trees to ensure his timely arrival.
In no time at all, the yearling found himself out in the open. He had broken through the nearby mangroves and was now in the presence of his family and Tankyu. Dhiren had stopped at the edge of the forest, but now calmly walked towards the small gathering. He hoped more would appear, for he missed seeing his family all in one spot. "Mama," he softly said, tones deep and rich from their baritone setting. Without hesitancy, Dhiren approached his mother and gentle nuzzled her neck. There was nothing he wouldn't do for his mother, nothing at all.
He pulled back to look at Novella and Canta, both of whom were slightly shorter than he was. A warm smile appeared for both aunt and sister, and he reached out his nose to both of them in greeting. His gaze then rested on Dutrion and he noticed that his little brother was more clingy to Song than usual. It struck him odd, but Novella asked the question of the earthquake and he couldn't help but answer. "Aunt Novella, the earth was waking up from a long nap and I guess it didn't think about the occupants until it was over." His explanation was probably not the best, but it seemed to work out in his mind. "I hope it doesn't wake up for a long time, though..." Honesty was the best answer to give and he figured it would suit him fine.

The little healer and her golden companion were studying by themselves within the confines of their shared den. Studying the plants they had gathered and making plans to go gathering the autumn and last of summer plants before the winter would find them. Though the cold was never so bad as to kill much of the plant life within the mangroves, she planned to go north to find the rarer material. However they would not be doing such today. Her mothers call would be brought to her ears, and the small girl would come when called. Elohim would find a place on her back and the two would make the short walk to her patents den. She hoped beyond hope that such a meeting would lure her father back to his home. She has not seen him in so long, and he had left with out so much as a good bye. She wondered if something bad had happened to him, but such a strong man would have trouble being over come... Right? The only wolf who was not of destruction birth there was Sha, the amazing dog would had joined their ranks. Novel had yet to get to know her but had seen her in lessons before. She would smile at the rest of her family, all shaken up by the earth's quaking. Elohim has told her what to do to stay safe, but she was glad to see now who had fared well. She would have found a seat next to her brother Dhiren, but instead decided to sit next to the tiger dog, hoping to make her feel more at home. She knew it couldn't be easy living with a different species.?

A summons, most likely in reaction to the quaking of the terra below their very feet so recently. With a sigh, the alabaster queen heaved herself to her feet and left her empty den. Her children stayed far from her, ignoring and hating everything about her. Magnus was gone, most likely having decided the steel eyed lady was not worth the effort of loving anymore, or had found a new woman to love. She had not eaten all too much as of late, only catching what she needed to survive. What had she to live for now, besides her pack? Her babes seemed to care less whether or not she lived or died, no doubt the pack had made do without her well enough. Long banner would swing like a furry pendulum at her heels, crown lowered between her petite shoulders as she headed towards the mangrove. She had decided to take up her home in the Hot Springs now, where it was constantly warm and frequented very little by anyone.

The dame's ivory coat no longer held the same gloss it once had, but she still kept it groomed well enough, making sure she looked somewhat presentable. She had not given up entirely, not quite yet. Broad paws would touch down upon the roots of the mangrove trees with very little effort and quite an unearthly grace, as always. Soon, she came upon the gathering of her best friend's family, and a strange canine she did not recognize. Intrigue shone in her moonstone orbs as she looked over the strangely marked, rose eyed female, but she said nothing.

Stepping towards her pearl coated friend, she offered a small smile. Dark lips would curl in the slightest, baring the tips of her pale daggers as she came closer. Cranium would press against the smaller femme's neck affectionately, an old custom of her family's that she had never dropped. "Song, my dear. It is good to see you are faring well after the quake. I trust the rest of your family fared the same?" She would inquire, silken lyrics faintly accented with Russian dialect and ethereal tones. She would look about her, taking in the assembled wolves with a curious mercury gaze. Tiara would raise above her shoulders as she watched the expression of her trusted friend and leader, awaiting a response. Then she would catch sight of a little one hidden behind Song, clinging close to her in a manner that broke her heart. Her children would never be like that with her, ever again. She had destroyed the bond she had with her family beyond repair.

Walk | Talk | Think

Requiem could not express just how happy he was that the earthquake was over. He had not been in danger's way in any sense holed up within the den with mom and his siblings, but the whole event had been rattling to say the least. It had been quite terrifying at first, throwing the boy to the floor of the den and making it impossible for him to get his footing again. Instead he had remained huddled beside his mother and siblings, cling close to them all in his effort to maintain some semblance of stability, even if it could not be the kind of physical stability that the earth should have been upholding. But thankfully the one prayer that he had been muttering to himself had been answered; the earth was still whole and his family was still safe.

His steps were nervous as he stepped tentatively from the safety of the den, ears slightly tucked and head low. His teal-green eyes glanced alternatingly between the ground and his mother, the two dark markings upon his brow adding a permanent sense of pensive worry to his expression aided by his current demeanor. Was the ground done shaking? Would it start up again? The worry made him hurry his pace and nearly trot to his mother's side to join Dutiron already quietly seated there, bumping his muzzle silently against his brother's shoulder before moving to beside both him and mom. Others were already arriving, drawn out by Song's call, and nervously the boy's gaze moved from one to the other while he listened to the conversation and prayed more that they were all at last safe.

Satu had literally slept through the earthquake. She'd gone to her den dead tired hours before and was deeply in slumber when the earth started to shake. The occurrence had taken on a nightmare quality as the young wolf scrabbled about in her den, caught in a dream. By the time she'd managed to wake herself up - mostly due to Song's call - the quake had faded to nothing more than occasional faint aftershocks that she would have attributed to her nightmare but for the looks on her packmates' faces as she wandered sleepily into the meeting. She managed to catch some of the conversation as she did, and it cleered her sleep-fogged brain up pretty quickly. "So it wasn't just a nightmare?" she hazarded, glancing around between her cousins and Song's older children, who she had decided she quite liked now that they were adults. A quick worm of worry wiggled its way into her mind. Were Cirala and Iorwerth ok? What about Kili? Adventuring was hard as it was, without the earth shaking beneath you.

Troubled now and already planning a trip of her own to find her erst-while friends and family as soon as the meeting was over, Satu flopped down on the ground near her cousins.

Ooc: muse-less phone post. Iy sucks but i had to get it up

He lay on his side, far from his den. Far from anyone. The illness that had overcome him was nearly too much to bear. He was so far away because he did not want to pass it on to anyone else. He should have gone to see a healer by now, but he was too weak. He also needed to get food. God he had been a fool. Song's call had stirred him from his slumber. He did not want to attend, but he would have to. He had let his family down enough, he did not want to do the same with his pack. He slowly hauled himself to his feet and begun to move to the source of the noise. Waves of nausea hitting him quite often, hindering his progress. Eventually he reached the clearing in which the meeting was being held. He saw Aurora, they had not spoken in a while, there children basically hated them.the family was being torn apart slowly. He moved forwards to Song, he noticed that Cherokee was gone. He hadn't heard about that. It would be best to get a healer's advice on his illness, so he would need to see Song after the meeting. He tipped his head to her and began to speak, his voice rough and croaky, I apologise for the lack of my presence, i know that i have let everyone down but i have not been- his words were cut short by a rough hacking cough that tore through his frame. He turned his head away, still coughing. When the fir subsided he turned back to her. Sorry. As i was saying, i have contracted an illness of sorts and I would much appreciate it if i could talk to you later about it. I know that i should have seen someone earlier, but i have been rather secluded, things aren't going well. Again, I'm sorry he turned back and headed for the back of the group, he shot Aurora an apologetic look before sitting down far from everyone else. things were not going well for him at all

He would arrive, straight from the outlands of Alacritia. The male had been out searching for a brother still lost, though had not bothered to tell the others where he had gone off to. Why would he? He was a full grown adult and mostly did things on his own anyhow, Song after all, was too busy playing leader to care what he did. Even so, he always did things without telling her. A habit, he supposed, of her having been gone in the first place. Ones habits simply did not die after a short time, and his habit was independence. Something that would not go away, if at all.

And so it would seem he'd step onto Ludicael lands just as the howl for a meeting would go out, and Howl in his somewhat tired swagger would make his way towards the meeting place. He would arrive behind the crowd, though he wasn't the only one still not present. There were many it seemed, that had yet to arrive. Hazel eyes fell on his sister, though did not linger there long as he tore his gaze from her to gaze about at the others. In silence, he would move forth to sit somewhat in view of his sister, shaking his coat free of the dust that had collected from his fruitless search, and waited.

Jerking awake from his nap, the boy scrambled up to his feet. Foggy eyes blinked away the sleep as he stumbled out of his den, and as soon as the sleep was away he sprinted towards his sisters call. The boy had been out exploring, as usual, as he was seldom seen within the main packlands, but more often found out and about exploring. He was never one to stay in one place for too long, though he was always nearby. Cobalt blue eyes sparkled brightly, excited at the prospect for another meeting. He had realized as of late, that he had been exploring more then spending time with his family, though they always seemed to be busy anyhow. So often he was out on one of the islands, or scouting out new places that he had yet to explore.

He soon came on scene, gazing around at those already gathered as his tail wagged. He made his way towards Song, "Heya Sis!" He would greet as he approached, the young boy giving her a lick and a nuzzle before taking a seat several feet from Howl, who by the scent of it, had been somewhere Legend had not. Ears pricked forward as curiosity gnawed at his mind.

The world had stopped shaking not too long ago, the girl fearful now more then ever at experiencing such a thing, rose on unsteady legs as she made her way to the howl of the one who allowed her to reside within the pack. Although ever since she joined, she had remained in solitude. The girl often timid, had yet to interact with anyone asides from Bhaire, although not even he had been around for a while. Quietly, she slunk to the back of the gathering wolves, wintry blue eyes seeking out the Alphess that she had yet to speak to, to properly thank her for allowing her to stay here. She would make a mental note to suck up some courage, someday, and hopefully get enough of it to approach her. But for now, she placed herself upon the ground, tail wrapped around her small bodice as she waited patiently for what was to come.

The only one he had left of his family was gone, Zlata, his dearest sister. The boy thought that the two would always stick together, would push on even though they had been abandoned, grow and become strong. The boy would feel a deep hatred swirl deep within his core, if they didn't have time for him, to teach him, to protect him, then he wouldn't bother allowing them in his life. They would get the cold shoulder.

Ear twitched at a summoning, the Oracle was calling the pack together. A meeting? Curiously the boy would lift himself from the ground, quickly shaking debris from his fur, a stretch then was off. Paws would move steadily over the earth, head kept low, about shoulder level as he glided through the territory. It wouldn't take long before he arrived, most of the wolves already gathered around the white woman.

Gaze would search the crowd, a small shard of hope within his heart that Zlata would be here... nope. Ears pinned back against his skull, gaze narrowing when he spotted his parents here. Quickly and quietly he would remain in the back and off to the side, not wanting to be near the other wolves. And so he would take a seat, tail laying over his paws, head held high, gaze focused on the Oracle.

The decision has been made, it was time for her and Haku to take their leave and move onto new lands. The couple had spoken about this event twice now, once while Jupiter reigned, or at least after it, and a second time just a few days earlier before he became ill. Aria would speak to Song about this, after all, she had told the woman that her stay in Ludicael was only temporary.

A summoning. The woman would nuzzle her mate before squeezing out of the den, moving at a steady pace through the land,s head held high and ears perked up, green gaze scanning the terrain around her. In no time she would arrive, most of the wolves already there, at least, she guessed so. She still had no idea how many of them there were.

Carefully she would maneuver through the crowd, making her way to the front before dipping her head to Song. "Haku will not be able to attend, he isn't feeling too well." With a small smile Aria would move away, taking a seat on the outside of the group.

Sound rapidly growing body plunged down the hill. Her paws now accustomed to the uneven, bumpy terrain of the mangrove. The earthquake had changed Alacritis majorly. Sound had been hearing rumours of new places opening up. It sparked her curiosity but the girl had restrained herself. Perhaps it was a sign from the gods. Were they angry? Or maybe they were trying towarn us about a bigger danger to come. The thought made Sound shiver. Both sounded horrible.
A summoning from her mother shook her from thought. Changing her course, Sound bounded towards her mother, arriving after a few more wolves. She glanced at them all in excitement before seating her self on the opposite side of Song. She fired a smike at her siblings and then at her mother.

ooc;; assume the kids here even if they don't post. A few have absense notices up :)

She was fatigued and exhausted, not just physically but mentally too. She hurt in places she didn't think she could hurt from laying tensed around her children throughout the earthquake. The worst she found were her hips and shoulders, she didn't want to move. The mixture of fear and rage that had coursed through her while the earth had trembled around them had left her just as mentally drained as well. So when Song called the pack meeting Vi could barely lift her head, eyes blinking slowly to try and register the sound. She was hungry. She didn't know how long it had been since the ground had ceased it's shaking but she had not left her den since. Her children were still not completely weaned so they had nursed during the time but Vi had not eaten. Hunger gnawed at we stomach, twisting and turning her guys as a rumble rolled up and down her ribs in protest. But it continued to remain ignored as she stood, long limbs unfurling from around her children as she pulled herself out of the den and motioned for her children to follow. "Come on dears, the Oracle had called and we shall answer..." All she could manage was a horse whisper, words not coming as easily as they normally did. She waited for all of them to exit before setting off towards the sound, sometimes leading, other times herding her pack of pups. When they arrived she would force a weak smile for Song alone, nodd to a few other familiar faces before almost falling onto her haunches. "Come children, sit close. It's time to listen. Maybe she has some exciting news!" She was able to feign excitement as she gazed down at her children. What would have happened if she had lost any of them? What would she have done?

Hestia

The pup had her blue eyes planted on the ground. At the sound of her mother, she winced and looked up at her. But it was not anything bad. Her mother almost sounded like she was proud of them. Of her. At this thought, the pup's white tipped tail began to wag. Does she finally notice how great at hunting I am? What about Big Sis? Does she know? A quick glance at her sister, before bright blue eyes sparkled with happiness. Finally, once she sat down, she noticed something. She was next to her mother. Not her favorite sister. But her. She glanced up at her mother a few times, making sure that she didn't move next to her sister. All she wanted was to make her mother proud.

Shifting her legs a little, Hestia sat up and curled her tail around her, with her head raised like a queen's. Which, in a way, she thought of herself as royalty. The younger princess, waiting for her time to be queen. She sat there, like a statue, until she looked up and saw her mother staring down at all of them. A soft whisper escaped her jaws. I love you, mom. Her voice was a little rough from not having spoke in so long. But those four words were enough. Enough for her, at least.

An unfamiliar voice would split the silence as it rang out across the territory, and the youth would raise her head curiously, her volcanic gaze glancing toward her mother as she waited for an explanation. Their mother would rise and urge them out the den, saying that the alpha had called them and they needed to answer. Fiamette would gladly heed her mothers summons as she rose to trail off after her before her siblings could manage to catch up. Though they would all travel in a group she would aim to remain the closest pup to their mother at all times, often brushing herself affectionately against her mothers foreleg as they traveled across the land. She would shoot daggers at the others when anyone drew too close to her liking, a reminder to those who saw that she would always be the favorite. She wore her mothers admiration like a badge before her siblings, a smug smirk always placed across her lips with an eyebrow sassliy quirked.

As they approached the large gathering of wolves her volcanic gaze would glance from face to face, her mouth agape in awe. She had never seen this many wolves before- and look! There were even puppies around her age here too! She would pick up her pace as they weaved through the crowd, and when her mother reclined on her haunches the crimson nymph would place herself between her mothers front legs, her nose raised skyward as she glared at Hestia who was perched surprisingly close to their mother. A growl would bubble within her core when her sister whispered the words "I love you", and her expression would grow frigid and harsh as she glared at Hestia, giving her a stare that screamed "shut your mouth before I shut it for you." She would then look toward who she assumed was the Oracle was, waiting for an explanation for this meeting.
