Woah! Wh-what's happening?!? The whole land shook around the brute, flinging him into the air and all over the place. Yang stood there, frozen, until instincts kicked in. He ran. Ebony paws carried him as fast at they could away. It seems that wasn't enough. Whatever was causing the very earth to shake must be mighty indeed.
Instincts weren't enough to keep Yang above ground. As a crater suddenly sprouted from the earth, the blue eyed wolf didn't have enough time to stop himself from tumbling below. Paws scrabbled on dry earth for anything to hold on to, but to no avail. The man landed with a rib-cracking 'thwump' as the earth closed above him, leaving him in complete darkness. The man was trapped. He could see nothing. Little did he know that that little slip of sky would be the last thing he would ever see.
After days down in the dark with the rats and bats, Yang made another attpemt to escape. He now knew after a few attempts that there was no way directly back up. This time, Yang skirted the walls. Smooth, ridged rock surrounfed him as he sued his snout to feel his way around. He was losing ope of ever getting out when a wisp of fresh air blew across his nose. Heart hammering a mile a minute, Yang soon found a thin, body crusing hole, just big enough to let the brute through. A whine of joy echoed around the walls of the dark prison before the man squeezed himself through.
He was greeted by an equally dark ravine, or was it a cavern. It was too dark to see. Slow but steady paws made their was past stalagmite's and stalagtite's. The cave floor sloped upward and upward until the fading summer heat punded the man in the face. Barks of joy were thrown into the air. A howl calling out far. Celebrations were cut short. When Yang olened his eyes, he expected the familiar sunlight to greet him but instead, all he saw was the same darkness. Itwas then he started to panic. I'm blind!

Sif had not been in a panic when the initial earthquake hit. She had been far from any trees or tall structures. But when the ground began to split, and open up. Threatening to swallow her and everything around her. That was when fear began to set in. She had stumbled, missed a step, and found herself dangling over the mouth of a small underground cave. She had only just managed to scramble out before more dirt and rock were thrown in. It had been about three days since then, and Sif had been wandering through the dry land, dodging the sunken holes and unsteady ground. She heard a bark, almost as if someone was celebrating. Her gaze swivelled round, but that bark was cut short by a cry of dismay. Sif was running the instant the cry reached her audits. Ir was long until she reached the man. He wad scruffy and clearly distressed. She moved down the little jutting of rock that he stood on to face him. It was only thn that she saw what was wrong. He had been blinded. Very recently. Most likely he had fallen and been swallowed by the earth. Hello, mister. I'm Sif of Ebony. What's your name? she smiled comfortingly even though she knew that he could not see it. She had to get him to calm down. I'm gonna need you to take a few deep breaths. she moved closer, trying to asses the damage. She was no healer, she had basic skills, but she would have to take him back to the Sola knights for further help.
