History:
In the heart of the dense and ancient Oqia, a single pup is born, fur as black as the night. Two devoted parents, a grandparent, and two siblings of the past litter welcomed the newest member of their family, Vaelyra Veliar. Her early life would be shaped within the close-knit embrace of Ileth, the pack her family belonged to. Her family, the Veliar’s were respected members of the pack known for their loyalty and contributions to the constant growth and development of Ileth. Vaelyra was born to loving parents, Aenela and Baerys. Aenela, Vaelyra’s mother, was a striking female with a coat that mirrored the warm hues of the sunrise. Known for her wisdom and gentle demeanor, she was an essential figure within the pack, often offering guidance to the younger members. She passed down her knowledge of Oqia, the lands Ileth resided in, and its secrets to Vaelyra, fostering the curious spirit of the young wolf. Baerys, her father, was a formidable hunter who oversaw leading pack hunts. His fur bore the dark shades of a moonless night, and his keen instincts in hunting and leadership earned him respect in the pack. Despite his imposing exterior, Baerys harbored a soft spot for his newest daughter, often indulging her adventurous spirit while subtly instilling the importance of responsibility.

Vaelyra was also mentored by her elder siblings, her brother Vilar was a boisterous and protective sibling who often joined her explorations of Oqia. He taught her essential survival skills and shared the stories he learned of the pack’s history as he grew up. Vilar and Vaelyra were almost inseparable, even when Vilar had essential duties to conduct, Vaelyra found herself following her brother and practicing being sneaky, she always got caught. Sae, her sister, on the other hand, was a graceful and elegant wolf who excelled in the art of diplomacy. She possessed a keen understanding of the pack dynamics and often found herself mediating disputes within the community. Sae and Vaelyra often butted heads, as Vaelyra challenged the traditional ways of the pack. Although Sae, with her cunning, managed to instill the importance of communication and alliances in Vaelyra, skills that would prove invaluable to her future. Together, her family provides a foundation of love, support, and tradition.

One fateful night, Vaelyra found her grandfather Vaemor, and shared her dreams with him. Despite his initial skepticism, he saw the fire in Vaelyra’s eyes and recognized her need for a fresh start. Vaemor revealed his hearings of a distant land called Auster, a paradise untouched by the chaos of their world. He left her with little information on how to find this land other than to follow her heart. Motivated by the promise of new adventures and the potential for love as boundless as the open sky, Vaelyra made the courageous decision to embark on a journey to Auster. With a tearful farewell to her pack and a heart full of hope, she set off into the unknown, guided by the whispers of the wind and the silver light of the moon.

Her journey was filled with challenges and encounters with other creatures of the wilderness, but Vaelyra’s indomitable spirit attracted companions along the way. As Vaelyra ventured deeper into unexplored lands, she would discover breathtaking landscapes and hidden wonders. Her first ally was an elderly and wise wolf named Laenar. She encountered him in a glade filled with white and purple flowers, his coat was as white as fresh snow and his aged body frail as the twigs on the ground. Laenar became a mentor to Vaelyra, as she learned how to live in the wilderness on her own. However, his time with her was short, as in a measly month his age took a toll. Vaelyra found him in the glade they met at in everlasting sleep, leaving her with the wisdom to face the challenges ahead.

Many months passed before Vaelyra crossed paths with two wolves. A quick-witted and mischievous male with a sleek, russet coat, Taelyx, and an elegant, frost-colored female with a skill in healing Jaleara. The vast differences of the wolves seemed to grow their bond, as they traveled and shared stories of their pasts. Taelyx was an outcast, his pack got tired of the tricks and chaos he instilled in the lands. While Jelaera was an orphan, brought up by a lone healer. Vaelyra convinced both wolves to travel with her and lit the fires of hope within them of a land of everlasting peace. However, tragedy struck while Taelyx and Vaelyra were hunting one morning. They ventured too close to a pack's land and were ambushed by two vicious wolves. Taelyx told Vaelyra to run, as he took on the two wolves himself. Sacrificing himself for the safety of his friend, as she ran, she heard blood-curdling howls and yelps coming from Taelyx. Fear coursed her body and shame kept her from returning to Jaleara. Heartbroken and haunted by the loss of a true friend, she continued her journey alone.

As Vaelyra reached the verdant expanse of Auster, she found herself surrounded by the memories of those who had shared her journey. The bittersweet realization that her quest for a new beginning had led to solitude weighed heavily on her heart. Yet, with the lessons learned from her departed companions, Vaelyra faced the unknown future with a resilience born of both joy and sorrow, ready to embrace what awaited her in this new land.
