Her curiosity for the world outside the little den area was growing for to great for her to handle. She kept hearing about other family members and wondered why she hadn't met any of them. Well if they wouldn't come meet her, she'd go to them! While everyone was sleeping she snuck out, surprised she didn't get caught and had been so quiet about it. Once she was in the clear she squealed and took off running. She didn't know where, didn't know the tension between her mother and her aunt. All she knew was that this place went on and on and somewhere more of her family was out there.

After some time she slowed to a halt, her eyes, the exact same as her mommy's were wide with fascination. A little blue bird sat in a tree singing, causing her to pause and watch it. It was so pretty and tiny compared to Atlas. When it flow away she whined sadly, why did it stop singing and fly away? She shook her self, her ears flopping before she trotted on. She had no idea how to find her family, but she would run into them sooner or later right?

She would walk slowly through the mangroves that day, the hotness would effect her more than it did most days. That and she was begrudgingly contemplating the thought that Cherokee might not be back in the foreseeable future. Her features seemed rather sad as her alabaster form was take over tangled roots of the old trees. She felt much older now than she had but a season ago, her children were very much keeping her young though. As well as pointing out where her weaknesses were, she was almost raising them single-handedly. Novel helped as well as some of the other family members, but adding the crow she had really loaded herself with responsibility. Her thoughts would be interrupted, the sounds of a child playing caught her attention. There were many new lives running amok in the territory, she had found little time to acquaint herself personally into their lives. But this one had the scent of symphony on her and Song could hardly pass up the chance to meet the girl. Pulling herself forward she would cross the dusty pelted she pup's path. "Hello there, miss. Having a good day exploring the mangroves?" she would smile warmly as she titled her head curiously, haunches coiling beneath her.?

The sudden appearance of someone had her mouth fall open and her paws back pedal is a clumsy fashion as eyes widened. She hadn't expected to have someone pop out of no where. She thought that was her job. Her rear met with the ground and that's where she sat looking up at the white female. Her eyes were almost like Mommy's but switched."You look like Mommy." She said in response then shook her head, ears flapping. How rude, Mommy would have her tail for that if she found out. She blinked a few times till she remembers what the other lady had said and to find her manners."Yes, Ma'am. Im Cerise Destruction-Gringorie." She said happily with a smile and tail wagging. Why did this lady look a lot like Mommy? Her head would tilt to the side in thought, eyes narrowing.

She would look around as if expecting more to show up. But right now it was just her and this lady. She stood up, rump wiggling from how hard her tail was wagging."Are you part of my family?! Where are the others? Why hasn't anyone come to visit but Novella? We're good pups I promise!" She blurted out quickly, her eyes shining with excitement. She had guess on the family part only based on the eyes. She hadn't learned to use her nose yet.

The yearling had been patrolling the borders that morning, slowly building muscle in his legs and also keeping eyes out for stray rogues. Ever since Cherokee had left, he had taken over the task of making sure the safety of the pack's lands were intact. It was something that required him to wake up a bit earlier in the morning, but he didn't mind the loss of sleep. Lately, he ended up taking afternoon naps and they always made him feel well rested.
After securing the premises of each corner, Dhiren returned to the heart of the mangroves. Hunger was pulling at his stomach, but he didn't let it affect his change of direction as he smelled his mother's scent among the trees. His tail wagged slowly behind him as he walked towards her, eager to see her that morning. However, a small voice that greatly resembled Novel's when they were younger broke the soft silence and he halted. Who was that?
It wasn't long before he appeared from the mangroves on Song's right, black pelt glistening in the sunlight. Bicolored eyes twinkled at his mother as a grin broke out across his face. "Mama," he said gently before nuzzling her cheek. His head turned so he had both eyes looking at the small pup in front of them. "Hello," he said cheerfully, lowering his front half to the ground so he was level with her gaze. "I haven't seen you before. What's your name?"

Sorrel had stirred slightly as Cerise had crept outside, lazily blinking open his eyes had had caught sight of her leaving, an action that had caused him to suddenly fully wake up. His gaze had moved to the still sleeping form of his twin and suddenly he felt rather confused. He didn't want to get into trouble, but equally so didn't want Cerise to get into trouble. Or, perhaps she had gone to find their parents, he quite liked that idea, but was still concerned that his sister might be doing something wrong.

Cautiously he rose. "F?li, I have to find Cerise. She might get into trouble." He informed his brother quietly, though the other boy didn't stir. He would have rather had someone with him, but if his twin wasn't going to awake, the boy decided he'd better catch up with her sister swiftly.

Leaving the den, he followed her trail and soon came across two wolves that he had never seen before. Oh no! Was he too late, was she in trouble? Well he wasn't going to get in any trouble himself, he'd just explain he was trying to get Cerise to come back to the den until their parents returned.

The older pair made him feel rather nervous as he ventured forwards to stand close to his sister. She may have been the smaller, though Sorrel felt as though he was standing before the two adults. One did resemble their family, her eyes bore the same mismatched yellow and blue that he and his siblings shared with their mother and Aunt. And like F?li and Novella, they were in the opposite eyes to he, Cerise and Symphony. Still, it didn't fuel him with much confidence, and it showed in the way he held himself and spoke. "I'm not doing anything wrong. Cerise was the one that left the den alone, I just wanted to bring her back." Suddenly his priorities were keeping himself safe, Cerise had already gotten herself into trouble, it was all her fault they were here.

She would watch as the young girl become rather surprised at her presence, she would immediately state the resemblance between herself and Symphony. Song would smile lovingly as she let herself fall to the ground, much closer to Cerise's height. The girl would continue on, telling her the name she was bestowed and going even further to ask many many questions of her. Before she was able to reply however, a handsome young male would present himself into the clearing. She would smile brightly as she nuzzled him back, her first born son. He would ask Cerise her name, but Song was happy to provide for her. "Your cousin Cerise, Dhiren. We certainly are family little one," she would not be able to continue before another joined their meeting. The very young boy would announce his innocence as his aunt would giggle. "Have no fear my love. I am your aunt, Song. Your mother's sister. I'll make sure you don't get in trouble. Cerise, I have not visited yet because I am also the alpha of the pack. I'm very busy most days, but I know you are good pups. And I want you to know that I love you very much. Even if I'm not around to say it." her tail would wag gently as she looked to the pups. "We should tell your mommy where you are, and then we can all go exploring together. Does that sound good?" she didn't want symphony to think she had just run off with her sweet children. Their mother had to know where they were if she planned on showing them around.?

As she stood there excitedly another wolf appeared, greeting the lady like her Daddy greeted Mommy. She stilled for a moment, pondering over the exchange between them till the male asked who she was. But the lady beat her to the punch line so she just stood there proudly, chest out, ears forward and head high. She was happy who she was, who her family was and nothing could change that. Then Sorrel was by her side, she smiled like a goof and gave him a nuzzle to the cheek like she was the older male do to the lady. She concluded it must be a simple greeting to loved ones. But as soon as Sorrel opened his mouth she wanted to take it back.

Her face grew sour, lips pouting out and ears going back. Sorrel was gonna ruin all the fun! She wasn't in trouble, at least no one had said she was so far. And he wasn't the one to say if she was or not! The white lady addressed them both and Cerise gave a happy yip and bounce. She had another Aunt like Novella!? That was wonderful! "What's an Alpha? What's a pack? Where will we explore?! Oh I wanna see all the animals! Can we go hunting? Or gather plants for mommy?" Her words tumbled out in a rush of pure delight. Turning to Sorrel she grinned at him before playfully nipping his ear and running to hide behind Dhiren's shoulder.
