It was odd to him, to be within a pack that wasn't comprised solely of family. But alas, it was one step closer to their goals, and the alphas here didn't seem so bad. He was a bit surprised at first to find that neither the leading alpha nor the Bone Queen were mates, but rather a friendly partnership while she trained her heir. Traditionally, the alpha pair were mates. But as he would come to find, Insomnia didn't quite follow the status quo, now, did they? It was amusing really, and he was keen to learn more about their ways and the wolves that lived here. But for now, he sought out his brother to glean more information about their future.

He walked quietly across the ground, noting the flowers and plants that had sprouted during this blissful Spring season. The sky was a peaceful blue with hardly a cloud in the sky, and it seemed the pack here did well for themselves. He could see a few of the members in the distance racing across the land, and on the opposite end, a couple of deer just beyond the territory. It was about high noon or so, the sun well overhead and shining brightly over the lands. Surely Erebos was out and about enjoying the peace of the day?

he saw his younger brother from afar, watching him closely as he sat, unsuspecting under erebos's gaze. he was kept far right from the dunamis member, eyeing and keeping tabs on how everyone fit in within insomnia. it was his job after all to ensure that everyone stayed in line. Kronos enjoyed the day it seemed, but Érebos had been so busy that perhaps just recently, he found the time relax. he came from the thickets, emerging to his brother's side. walking high and brisk on his thick, sturdy legs to soon come looming over the male as he sat near. "And do you like it here, Kronos?" his voice was deep, and baritone on the wind that blew over his fur. his eyes soft as he watched the others ahead, content. swiveling ears atop his crown as he kept himself aware and watchful. "We need to talk." his voice was stern and thick with his accent. "σχετικά με τα σκατά του Enyo και ένα παλαβό(About Enyo's shit and a brat)." ah, how good it felt to speak in his true tongue.

He had to admit, this place wasn't half bad. The strange Alphess had chosen a good place to lay claim to, and it was evident in the fertile land that he walked upon with its lush, soft grass underfoot and the abundance of prey that he could smell milling about both underground and above it. The piebald male had a feeling this place would bode well for them, especially now that they were all under the protection of the Bone Queen. Hopefully, none of his siblings would fuck that up for them. His attention turned to a den site that looked like it had collapsed, dirt and rocks pooled around the entrance that he imagined once belonged to one of the Insomniacs, but perhaps they had decided clean up wasn't worth the effort. He approached it to get a better look, noting that the dirt was neither fresh, nor too old. Behind it, he saw what looked to be the start of a small garden now overrun with weeds. Perhaps a project that hadn't quite gotten off the ground before whoever tried had abandoned it.

It was then then his older brother approached him, though Kronos didn't immediately look at him as he continued his own observations. "It is certainly not a bad place, I must admit. Your Bone Queen has chosen well," "We need to talk." Of course they did! How long had it been since they'd been separated? There was much to catch up on, he was sure. "About Enyo's shit and a brat." It was then his head immediately turned as he looked at his brother, a curious look in his eye and his full attention on Erebos as he tried to hide the beginning of a grin. "Enyo? Pes, agapité aderfé. Ti kánei aftí? (Enyo? Say, dear brother. What is she up to?)"

as the two siblings turned to speak, hearing greek in the air made Érebos comfortable. a sense of familiarity bonding them closer in ways the dunamis did. a clan after all, knitted tight in unconventional ways. standing tall and looming over his smaller brother, Érebos gave a sigh before he went on whilst keep his his dual toned eyes on those cyan pools of Kronos. "Yes. The bone queen is wiser than most I've met." shuffling his weight, he sat before going on. "Enyo. είναι σε ζέστη. χρειαζόμαστε κουτάβια dunamis σύντομα(Enyo. she is in heat. we need dunamis pups soon)." he admitted. everyone in their clan knew of Enyo's preferences & habits. but failing last year.. he could not condone it this year again. not in his time of leadership. he sought out Kronos' input this time around. after all, having been reunited, he could finally lean on them all. "γλυτώστε με το άγχος.. πώς την αντιμετωπίζουμε με τις αποστροφές της(save me the stress. how do we deal with her aversions)?"

He quietly chuckled about the remark on the Bone Queen's wisdom. Kronos didn't know her well enough yet to witness it for himself, but he trusted his brothers judgment nonetheless. If this Medusa was someone that his brother was willing to follow for however long, and being a woman at that, then no doubt Erebos held her in some sort of high regard. He wouldn't dwell on that for long, however, as the topic quickly shifted over to their abrasive sister. Particularly, the fact that she was in heat. His brow raised. Of course, he was aware that there were expectations to be upheld. And the fact that his brother was bringing it up at all meant that there was an issue.

Was Enyo being difficult about it? Of course, it was known among them that she wasn't the traditional sort. But unless she wanted to be cast out, she had a familial duty to uphold. Erebos wanted advice upfront about the issue with their sister. Kronos sat back with a quiet hum as he considered his words. "Γνωρίζει τις οικογενειακές μας αξίες και το καθήκον που πρέπει να τηρεί. Αν δεν θέλει να την διώξουν και να της αφαιρέσουν το όνομά μας, τότε πρέπει να κάνει αυτό που πρέπει να γίνει. Ανεξάρτητα από τα συναισθήματά της για το θέμα. (She is aware of our family values and the duty she has to uphold. Unless she wants to be cast out and stripped of our name, then she must do what needs to be done. Regardless of her feelings on the matter.)"

He looked steadily at his brother, his expression impassive. "Και λαμβάνοντας υπόψη ότι πάντα κηρύττει για την οικογένεια και το τι πρέπει να κάνουμε, δεν καταλαβαίνω γιατί θα θεωρούσε τον εαυτό της απαλλαγμένο. (And considering that she's always preaching about family and what we must do, I don't see why she would think herself exempt.)"
