| Such a heavenly view The morning was just starting and Trixy had woken to the cold , but boy did she enjoy the sounds of the ducks in the creek near the temporary for the night digs she had taken. She knew that Polaris had chickens but she hadn't seen them have ducks and she had a plan. If she could catch a couple ducks she could take them to trade with Sir Artorias and see about a Raven for her and Frank. She rose with the gentle sound of the ducks on the creek and the soft white slush underpaw as she stretched and prepared to set to work. She would need a good few reeds and cattails and she had collected some sticks and bait the night prior. The bait was some of the feed they used for the chickens, though she hadn't seen anyone to ask if she could use it so she had taken just a small scoop. If they didn't want her hunting or using it she was open to leaving, though if everything went to plan no birds would be harmed. She's seen a few with colorful feathers and brown females, which meant she could definitely get a few breeding pairs. She moved past the still sleeping frank with a smile. She didn't see a need to wake him unless she needed him to help her. The idea was a net trap and she knew how to get the birds in it if she was lucky that was. Hopefully it wouldn't stress them too much. She grabbed her previously collected supplies and moved to the side of the creek, keeping quiet to not disturb the ducks. She started by moving to start cutting down reeds and cattails. She would use that for the net part of the trap. Walk, "Talk", Think |
