sharp and on time, he put an enormous amount of time tonight to get it all ready. he bathed himself with crips salt water then washed himself with rare green frankincense he bought from the local market prior. he smelt divine and masculine, his cologne rich & clean. his fur was groomed and plush. one could say he'd wear a suit if he had one-, so ready and suited to receive her. what was the occasion? to know her more, to discuss important things coming. their children and so much more. their life together.

he sat on a large plate of stone dressed with soft pelts, across from the one medusa would be assigned to. between them, a smooth plate of wood carrying a bottle of expensive wine and two glass cups. he hoped she'd like it-, the willow tree just above the scene like a curtain swaying with the gentle night breeze. crickets sung and the lapping pond was a calming ambient background. hopefully she couldn't hear his heart beating out his chest.. his eyes looked afar, watching the moonlit plains ahead as he patently waited for his wife medusa to show up.
