She continued her exploration around the spires, only this time she made her way further into the strange land, the spires casting long shadows across the ground, made even more sinister by the crimson sky overhead. Dual-toned gaze searched for any clues as to why or how this place suddenly seemed to erupt from the earth, but also...these things looked like they had been here for ages. She carried on with her investigation, finally reaching a spire that looked like it towered over the rest, the same, eerie sounds echoing in the air as the wind passed through. It was still all so strange to her...but she wondered...approaching a spire, she studied the carvings that were etched into the stone once again, squinting at the terrorized face of an unknown creature as she hummed to herself. Was there something maybe underground that had scared them above ground? Looking down at the softer earth at its base, she slowly and carefully began to dig. Wondering if maybe she would get any other answers. |
