Alaric was on the hunt. He told his two cane corsos Maul and Cinder to sit this one out. So the two were off in the distant of the valley, near a stream, watching Alaric from a safe distance. Alaric out his black nose to the ground and was currently tracking a doe. His nostrils flared as he took in the scent, his eyes fixated on his surroundings. There, in the not so distance, was the doe he was tracking. It was currently nibbling on a few blades of grass. Alaric tense his muscles and lowered himself closer to the ground. He was going to capture the damn thing one way or another.

Emerald Valley was one of the few places Enyo frequented. It was here where prey was the most bountiful. She had discovered, through much observation that a lot of the animals from Auster migrated to escape the cold. It often led them here to this lush valley.

It seemed today there would be another. From the hill she sat, she could see he was stalking a doe in the distance. Perhaps she could join him? Next to the white male were two large dogs... Enyo watched the lesser creatures. She supposed she could tolerate such animals as long as they were in a role of servitude.

Her large and muscular frame headed down towards Alaric. As she neared she sniffed, barely recognizing his scent. Having only seen the man be bested by Medusa. She would sniff the grass, smelling the doe. Her scent was fresh.

"I wish to accompany you."

Alaric's ears swiveled as a voice entered them. His nostrils flared at the smell of another. He turned his head to see a semi familiar face. He had seen the woman in the boneyard where he and the other woman had sparred. He dipped his head in a respectful greeting. "You may." He told her in a neutral tone. "I'm going to catch the doe. Alive." He told the woman, letting her know his plans. His gaze shot to Maul and Cinder. "They can help round her up." He explained parts of his plan briefly as he thought. Sure, the dogs could scare the doe into their direction but how would Alaric subdue the doe with injury or killing her? He fell quiet for a moment. “How are you with ropes? For her legs.” He asked the woman, wasting no time in turning to search the forest for sturdy vine. Once he collected a decent amount, he returned and placed them before Enyo. “We can make ropes to bind her in with these.” He began to tie the vines around the bases of trees. He was wasting no time. He began to make slip leads at the end of the ropes to ensure to keep the doe still one her feet had landed inside them.

Ropes? Why use such extra things, "Why not just break its legs? I don't understand the need." Enyo would put her input in but whatever. Today was one of the few days she didn't have anything better to do. She would nod, knowing she could tie the knot if needed. For some reason, Alaric wanted the doe alive. For whatever reason.

She wouldn't bother trying to understand and instead would follow along. She would help finish the trap and set it up. Tying solid and firm knots around the base. She would then begin tracking the doe. Sniffing the floor below.

"For the skill alone." Alaric shrugged, why not? It would be good practice in capturing setting alive. Well, alive briefly. He would kill the doe shortly after. His glance shot over to Maul and Cinder then back to Enyo. "Are you going with them to round up the doe or staying here to deliver the killing blow once it's captured?" He asked, giving her time to reply. He fixed the last of the ropes, testing them on his paw. The rope tightened around his foot just enough to keep it in place. He undid the rope with his maws and put it back in place.
