eons of warfare returning

Björn has taken to exploring, rather like a duck to water. Spending the summer only in places where he could hide from the heat. A unseasonably cool day had the boy thinking he could cross the more deserted regions in the west, but that was... wishful thinking. Overall, quite wishful, in ways he hadn't entirely considered. Getting caught out by the rising temperatures wasn't the brightest move he'd pulled lately.

Hunching his shoulders against a breeze that doesn't bring reprieve, Björn crosses to... well, what appears to be a hole in the ground. Steep at the sides, but it went down. Farther down, until the light disappeared. At least it would be cool down here. Carefully, the rot prince begins his decent.
