Greek Takeover
Pack Challenge
─
Érebos Dunamis wasted no time after his discussion with his wife took place. insomnia was swelling, overspilling and active with his young and clan. there needed to be more. enyo sought her own route after receiving his permission-, and now Érebos would take his own claim in the land. being secondary to anything simply.. wasn't enough. like the calculative man he was, he spent a year refining himself for this very moment. he studied day and night, growing hungry for his goal that much more. till he yearned for what he deserved. and he would stop at nothing to obtain it. yet he was not like his sister, enyo. as Érebos' choice was made quietly amongst himself, hidden in the back of his mind for some time now. and his challenge would prove no different- as he did not prefer to shout or beckon his opponent forward. nor was his style to childish tease.
determined and ruthless as his kind usual were, Érebos would make waves through history for his lineage. and if he failed to today, he would try again. his insatiable need for power was overflowing past the brink of his essence- captivating his every move and fiber of existence. Érebos was finally ready.
the dire wolf progressed slowly through the battlefield, his large paws trampling over the grassy plains under the scorching sun. his muscles rippled and danced beneath his obsidian coat as he proceeded forth; his wet nares flaring like a bull as he found a higher mound to stand upon. and it was here that Érebos would briefly call out for Basilisk, the armada warlord. a pack challenge and a shot at one of the largest societies- he did not choose his decision hastily. deliberate with his audacity and intelligent enough to aim at a goal worthwhile, Érebos awaited with vigilant eyes and his two hawks high in the air.

Never one to pass up an opportunity to watch someone else fight, the call bought a smirk to Deluge's face. Her sisters wouldn't be far behind, not with the crowns still fresh on their own heads. Change was brewing across the lands it seemed.
Bottles clinked over her hips as she approached the challenger, it seemed his opponent was yet to arrive. Her head tipped, considering. She hadn't met him before, but she took a seat and raised a bottle in a silent toast. She'd see what she could parse out from those that came in support of him, until then, this seemed as good an excuse as any to get shitfaced and shout a little.

Epimetheus had followed Genesis, quick in his steps as he stayed by the side of the larger male. Gene hadn't seemed the most amused by this challenge but had made it seem that he had no choice but to go, so Epimethius followed him. He was more than happy to provide Genesis with affection and support throughout the challenge. Bumping his shoulder against the brute playfully as they approached the spot the call had rang from. His eyes flicked over the large male, who he had recognized from Enyo's challenge. He nodded his head to him in respect. A simmer of loyalty had flooded through his body when it came to this family, both because of Enyo and now because of Genesis. His sparring buddy also was from this family, and while he still didn't know his name he respected the brute just as much without it. When Genesis stopped Epimethius gave him a small doggish smile, and settled in next to him. Moving closer to let the other man lean against him if he so pleased. He enjoyed being near him and spending time with him, whether or not it was spent in bed, sparring or just talking. The proximity was enough for Epimethius. "Talk"

Another challenge? He couldn't say that he didn't see this coming, but seriously? First he had to go all the way down to another fucking continent for Enyo's and now there was already another one. At least the battlefield was close though, and at least he'd get to sleep in his own bed tonight. He supposed that it could be worse, but the bored and mildly annoyed expression was written all over his face as he walked with Epi to the sound of the challenge call.
Settling down on the side his brother stood, he offered him the slightest of nods before relaxing and leaning against Epi. At least he would make this comfortable, his soft coat like fine pillows fit for a king. Genesis might not have been a king, or even the patriarch, but he definitely knew quality. And fuck, if being a dog was what made him so damn soft then Genesis couldn't complain - Epi made a perfect pillow. He was more than just a fine bit of tail fur though, even he wasn't blind to the Epi's fighting ability.
"Hopefully Erebos makes quick work of this, I'm ready for a nap," he whispered close to Epi's adorably floppy ear with a smirk, holding back the urge to nip it while he was there.
he is crude & he will flirt with you.

it was only a matter of days until Érebos did was he had always been bred to do. with a jagged prowl, zeph came as soon as the howl was sung. a pack challenge from Érebos, no more and no less. good. this was what the elders sent them here for. to conquer, to have and use. zephyros wouldn't miss this prime moment for anything as he came to approach the gathering. the larger dunamis patriarch was seen upon a taller mound, his power gleaming with all his glory. zephyros bowed for a brief moment before coming to sit himself next to the dunamis pet and gene.
with a flicker of his vermilion eyes, Zeph watched and waited with an impatient growl. his ears erect and moving atop his crown- fur bristled with pressed forward brows as he sat there judging the crowd to come. he was vigilant and guarded while he expected more dunamis to show. "Move." he muttered to enyo's pet, not wanting them to touch him.
At this point she was turning into a shadow for Zephyros whom she had found interesting and fun to be around with. And in Lazuli's book she was doing nothing wrong by doing this. They were "friends" after all and such she simply did what she though friends do, which was sticking together and being there for the other. Though what she was doing was mostly stalking but she had no concept about such.Quietly she lied down next to him, tucking her silky tail around her paws. "Is he your dad?" She asked about the male challenging. They looked a bit alike so she wondered if he was a parent. "" |
The piebald-adorned female wolf was finding herself heading to yet another pack challenge, yet again performed by a family member. She wondered if this was a wise move, to anger many this quickly. Wouldnt having this many enemies be a problem later on? Won't this make everyone aim at their heads? Yet who was she to question the patriarch? Who was she to oppose to the wills of her family? No one, and she wouldn't express any opposition to them and their wishes even if she would prefer something more calculated. She sat down, ready and paying attention to her surroundings, knowing this could cause a fight or even a war against them. They were taking packs and it was just too obvious there wouldn't be any happy faces after this. |
It was time to show up as the unified force that they were. No true ally to either side. A neutral party all on their own. Waiting with bated breath to watch the potential upheaval of the century. A kingdom may fall flat on its face by the end of the day. Because of this, as the challenging call rang out, Calliope knew she would need to follow. On her sister's steps, listening to the clink of booze bottles as they retreat past their borders and over to the Battlefield. Neutral territory. A perfect place to stir some shit up.
With a cruel smirk sweeping over her pale lips, Calliope scans the small, but growing crowd. These wolves are unrecognizable. Fodder to their grand plan. It would not be with fear that they watch the scenes unfold, but with excitement. Would the Warlord fall or reign supreme? Fresh blood wasn't always a bad thing, but to go straight for the throat of the supposed elite? She couldn't help but snort, holding back a laugh.
Settling in on the other side of Deluge, Calliope unceremoniously plops onto the dirt, stretching out her svelte build. Allowing her eyes to linger on the challenger for one more moment, she finds herself unimpressed. What did he bring to the table aside from his ego? Flicking her gaze to Deluge, snagging a bottle off the hip holster, she takes a deep drink, wiping her lips with a paw. "Ah, time to get the party started," deepened, cruel tones slice through the tension in the air, continuing to drink.

Warning: Calliope is callous, rude, and unpredictable. Do NOT expect nice things from her.
Though easily the quietest and most reserved of the three, that didn't mean that she wasn't capable of being just as judgmental and provocative as her sisters. In fact, pushed enough, Siduri was capable of things that some wolves would never even dream about. All three were pretty as sin and more than a little wild.
When the call rang out for a challenge, the trio shared a glance of interest, packed up some supplies, and made their way to the battlefield. The Raider Queens claimed their patch of grass and settled down as though they owned the place. A bottle a'piece, Siduri pulled the cork on hers and spat it aside. A sneer pulled over pastel features and she called rather loudly to her siblings, "Hopefully they do more than just fondle one another. I want to see blood."
