The island had seemed so quiet as of late and the runt was often finding herself feeling rather bored. Well no more, today she would actively seek out adventure but first? she needed a companion, an assistant for ?Professor Freya, world renowned explorer.? She had just the wolf in mind. Finding his scent she followed it, it had been easy to pick out after all they had shared a den for nearly a month before even leaving the den, it had given them all the time in the world to learn each other?s scents. She followed it until it was at its strongest, he was around here somewhere. ?Assistant Fakira, I request your assistance!? She let loose the call, a grin splitting her tiny features, nearly half a year old her imagination had done nothing but grown and more than often she found herself coming up with convoluted scenarios for play. The boy was growing quickly - so quickly. It would not be long before he started reaching toward the sky much like a week, but for now, it was very clear that Fakira was still a pup. Hiding from the hot summer sun, the boy would stay lumped beside his siblings - a bit bored, but not willing to leave the perfect spot that he had acquired behind. That was - until he heard his name being called. Fakira would perk, his eyes widening and his ears raising atop his head. Lazily he would stretch, before carefully stepping over his siblings and wandering out into the light. With a childish grin he would gaze at his smaller sister, playfully rolling his eyes as he opened his mouth to complain. "Assistant? Aw come on, at least make me your knight or something." But this was only his way of accepting that it was once again time to delve into one of Freya's games. And although they didn't make a lick of sense, they were fun for the young male too. It may have been because of her that he had an imagination at all. "So, what am I assisting you with?"

Her brother, no assistant emerged and Freya?s eyes lit up. He began to complain and she feigned disappointment, shaking her head and scoffing. ?Come now my, what we are doing today is important sciency stuff, not pretend!? She said matter-of-factly as though it should have been obvious. She knew his words were acceptance of her grand scheme and she nodded at him, looking him up and down. ?Good question, Today we are going to explore only the most dangerous location on the island!? She paced back and forth in front of him. ?There will be traps, maybe we won?t ever come back but if we manage to pull this off then we will have fame and fortune when we return!? She looked him over one last time and then seeming to approve trotted off. ?Come assistant we must be off if we are to make it there before bedtime!? She led the way across the island, dodging trees and streams until she came to a rest before a rather tall tree. It?s roots were exposed, the ground beneath them dug out. She had discovered this place a few day ago, the space beneath the roots made a decent hideout and there even appeared to be a small natural tunnel though she had not explored it yet. Talk like this
