Instead of returning to the Garden from the ridge Imogen decided to keep heading west. She knew something big had happened here somewhat recently, the ground was largely churned up and here and there she could see yawning cavern openings but she'd managed to largely avoid what had happened here so felt no trepidation stepping out onto the beach. The young woman watched for a moment as the waves rolled in and out, reminded again of the lands her family had left behind when she'd been a child. Part of her had assumed Trixy would claim those lands for herself but instead she'd taken the garden. Imogen wasn't sure how she felt about the whole thing. Part of her knew having to go back would have been hard, the only two Ravenwoods left as far as they were aware and yet... Part of Imogen had never stopped feeling like the old Norad lands were the only home she'd ever really had. Shaking her head Imogen tried to banish the swirling thoughts, wishing not for the first time that day that Jiro was there to bounce her thoughts off of. Instead she'd go to the next best thing. Imogen ran, she was running back and forth along the beach, occasionally splashing in the shallows as the tide washed in and out. Nothing to help her clear her mind quite like going for a run. |

Spriggan and Re’em were walking over the beaches of the shimmering shore. The tiny girl perched upon the unicorn’s back, her long cheetah-like tail twitching lazily over his pale flank. His own lion-like tail doing similarly. Prose rode the air currents high above them, with her companions she wouldn’t catch any flack from family for being alone. Spriggan didn’t think there would be any kind of amusement out here today, and she wondered if she could gather up some more sea lettuce when she heard Prose’s call alerting the terrestrial pair to someone else’s presence.
Re’em looked over his shoulder at her curiously, his caution obvious in his expression. Spriggan smiled at him and slid down the soft fur of his belly to where her delicate paws held her weight again. Pointing his long ears towards the tiny Carpathian girl as she trotted forward far enough to see the stranger dashing over the sand.
Inspiration hit her and Spriggan ran forward, aiming to race alongside the girl. A determined look appearing on her previously innocent features as she put on a burst of speed, silently initiating a challenge.
"Spriggan Carpathius"
