Nearly half a year old now, the very thought was unbelievable. Had it not just been yesterday she had just met Ky and Rin? The russet and blue girl was slowly growing into herself. Her body might be petite like her mother's, making her seems very small for her age. But she moved with the grace bred into her. Paws fell silently, each step kissing the earth gently. Her fur was slowly loosing it's puppy fluff to be replaced by silken locks. The only thing to very change on the young girl were her bright amber eyes. Like two pieces of embers burning to stay alive. She had never been this far from the den, often she stayed in the sparse pines, close to the heart of Glaciem, to her mothers and the rest of the pack. But with her growing age came to need to expand her range of exploring. She never really thought much of being alone, if she ran into trouble. It just never crossed her mind. As far as she knew anyways, was that no one dared to go against Glaciem for fear of their attack. So might be picture perfect of health, might have the natural build of muscles forming, but she had no skills in fighting yet. Eris was teaching her to hunt prey and herbs but that was it. Sometimes she'd try hunting on her own but it always ended in failure. So she was left to wonder about with nothing to do. But this place, so new, held so many possibilities for her. The plants were different, for one the trees! Oh so many of them and so low she could reach up on her hind legs and reach the branches, if she was a normal size half year old. She snorted, ears pinning back. Since when did being smaller ever stop her? Never last time she checked! She searched the trees, looking for the perfect one to climb. It wouldn't have to be hard since there were so many. Trotting over to a tree she studied the bark, the limbs and it's height. Well, time to learn to climb! She reared up, placing her front paws up on the trunk. Hindquarters coiled up before she pushed off the ground with them and using her front paws to claw her way up the trunk to the first limb on the tree. Sadly though she only made it a few inches before flopping onto the ground. She growled softly and picked herself up. That didn't go so well, she needed more uummmph! She backed up a few good paces and gave a running start. This time all four paws locked onto the trunk, for a moment she hung there, almost seeming stuck before she claws her way up to the first large limb on the tree. The effort was more than she thought would be needed. Standing on the branch she looked around. At first being up like this with the ground below made her dizzy. But the view she loved too much to feel sick. Tail wagging softly she laid down to drape her body on the thick tree branch, much like a large cat. Maybe she would just hang here all day till someone came by. She laid her head down on the rough bark, loving the way it felt on her cheek. |

there aren't any words you can say These tree's were perfect for climbing when you knew the right of way. Emotionless the man sat on a higher branch on a neighboring tree to the young girl who was attempting her first climb. She kind of looked like him, clumsily following the training orders that his mother gave him. Of course, the Armada was not sentimental to such memories, his face showed no expression of doing so. Weather it was true or not was a mystery much like himself. Since coming upon the kingdom his boredom was rather fitting of the situation, moving around speaking with Vereux quiet often, most likely one of his favorite nephews among all those who were running about. Of all these years so long for a wolf, chasing after his brother, this is what he found. Yet he himself couldn't even keep his single love alive, let alone protect her. And while he had felt a short spark for Six, she had a mate, and his heart was still healing from the last time. He hated to admit though, that both Six and her mate Aldoro were his friends. More over he wondered partly to himself how such a thing had come to exist. After Irune found herself on the branch, gracefully the blue man with white dipped elbows would jump from branch to branch in a decline. Muscles helping him, with well defined training and knowing which moves to make. It wasn't long before he was standing on a thick branch mere inches away from the one the youth was on. In the neighboring tree as his emerald eyes looked at her, he gave a soft bark careful not to startle her and to let her know that he was here. Though his face still held no expression, not many got into close enough contact or emotional level to him to know of the small subtle hints of his changing feelings. Which was how he was such a mystery to everyone sometimes pissing them off and he didn't know why. The war lord didn't care though, the man was not the devil nor an angel. He couldn't waste his time trying to please those who he barely even knew, and whom he didn't want to please at all. |

Amber eyes closed as the pup would rub her cheek against the branch. All her effort getting up here was so worth it! Maybe she could learn to move among the trees without touching the ground. She could gather fresh leaves for her mother and maybe even a squirrel! Tail wagged happily at the thoughts. A rustle in the tree made her ears twitch but she didn't think much of it. It was probably just a bird anyways. But shortly after a bark near by had her head snap up. She scrambled up into a sitting position with slight alarm. Someone else was here?! She turned her head to see a grey male on a branch near her. The sight of him took her by surprise, making her jump, backing up. Hind legs slipped dragging her body down till her front paws were hanging on only. But her inexperience and lack of enough strength had her falling to the ground. She landed with a hard thud and a grunt as the air whooshed out of her lungs. Even still though before she even took a breath to fill her lungs back up she was wiggling and tossing till she was up on her paws. Head shook, sending a waves through her body to rid of debris. Ears laid back as she looked up into the trees with a very unhappy frown. She spied the grey male and huffed at him. Thanks a lot! It took me forever to get up there! Forever might have been a little over the top, but how would he know. It wasn't like he had been watching her the whole time, or so that's what she thought. She sat down glaring at him. Who was this guy? Was he pack? She had never seen him before, not even at the last pack meeting.Who are you? she demanded. Irune might not have been the smartest when confronting strangers, but she had never needed to fear anyone so long as she stayed within the pack lands. Fear was not an emotion much known to her either. Only when it came to what others thought of her did it. But fear towards another did not exist in her world. Why should it? Who would hurt a pup anyways? And even if she did get hurt she knew what to do to heal herself. Well for minor things anyways. Ears twitched as she looked at the male. Something about him was vaguely familiar, but she couldn't place it. |

there aren't any words you can say The man was a little hurt by the young girls words, only for his ears to pull back slightly. She wouldn't notice unless she really payed attention to him. While of course, the fact she was not afraid made him think of the endless days of his assassination of royal children. He wasn't as innocent as he'd like to be. It wasn't like he could simply cover up the fact, but she best be more wary of strangers and he felt the need to tell her that. But she had tried to valiantly to climb this tree a bit of sadness had struck him when she had fallen and yelled at him. So an apology was in order and he'd give her one simply because he felt like it and no more. "My apologies. I was watching you from above little dove, you did well for your first time climbing a tree." he commented shifting his weight until he hopped onto the ground, obviously sizing the youth up. She would be surprised at what she could find in wolves, specially ones who would harm small youths like her. Yet Etern did not harm those he was not ordered to, unless he felt the need, and that there was something to gain from it. His ears flicked, white dipped elbows bending back as he flopped eventually onto his chest and stomach head straight starring at the girl. "Etern Armada, and you precious little dove?" he asked german accent hitting his tongue lightly. |
