The dark of night did well to hide the chocolate brown of his pelt, allowing the big man to move with relative stealth though the glowing of the water as he waded, and the sound of it shifting with each step no doubt breaking the illusion of an unoccupied beach. Istaqa walked slowly, each paw step accentuated by the sudden pulsing of the blue light. The man very much liked this particular beach and as he moved a rare small smile spread across his dark features. His cream tipped tail beat the air weakly, a small sign that the man was content.

Let the wind carry you

far, deep, and wide

The shore was quite a beautiful place in the night hours and that was why the Oracle had found herself there. Her fur of pure white silk did not blend in well with the shadows but that was no concern for her. Surely Shai was lurking nearby or perhaps Skah had returned from his mission and was on his way to deliver news of the northern wolves and their whereabouts on the continent. Her icy blue eyes hid her feelings as a rush of energy flew through her. It was another vision. The shore was quite beautiful and the water pure. Off in the distance she could hear a fierce howling and she was frightened by what she saw. There was a wave of blood rushing towards her through the water, tainting it's innocence with the filth. She coughed as her eyes widened. She shook her head. It could not happen. She would not stand by and let blood and battle happen.

As much as she didn't want it to happen, she knew the meaning of her visions. Her ancestors were trying to call the tribe to war. The energy that flooded her and the visions were so very different from the ones that were from the Goddess herself. She would not let a pint of blood be shed until the Goddess herself deliver the message for only she could make the final decision. The worry on her face was now evident as she continued along the shore. Off in the distance she thought she saw something (Istaqa) but she decided to shrug it off as nothing. It was hard to see anyways. She laid down on the sand and let the water touch her paws with the pull of the moon and ocean.

A soft cough reached the man and he paused turning to glance over his shoulder. Standing out in the dark of the night was a white form. One he?d swear he know anywhere. He watched as non-other than Ojiṣẹ was walking along the shoreline, quite a bit further inland than Istaqa himself. Then he noticed that she seemed to retreat. Standing stock still as he was the glowing of the plankton had faded, only faintly outlining his legs where they met the water. The man watched a few moments contemplating carrying on and yet he realized with a jolt that Skah was nowhere to be seen, he was lurking no doubt but he was not right next to the pure white female.
He might never have a chance like this again. He walked slowly towards her, tail held only just above his rump, wagging weakly as he drew closer. "Akia." He called out as he was still some distance away, letting her know of his approach in the event she wasn?t yet. Still he marched towards her, the water slapping against his legs. Finally he stopped, a respectable distance between them, her laying on the shore the water teasing her paws, him still ankle deep in. "Ṣe awọn ti o daradara?" He asked, a thread of worry working into his normally impassive tone.

Disenchanted

They sold the cause for the queen

And when the lights all went out

She had been resting peacefully until a voice stirred her from her calm oasis of a bubble that was of thought. She turned to see another tribe member acting so overly formal around her and it caused her to sigh. Was she alright? No, she wasn't well; she wasn't alright. "Ko si nilo fun ri, o kan Ojiṣẹ yoo ṣe. Lati dahun ibeere rẹ, ko paapa. Ohun ti o kan ti eni lara bi ti pẹ." Her response was labored and intensive as she looked over the shore. She was worried. When were the northern wolves coming and how many would invade? Would the great goddess have the power to protect them over the wolves who followed no rules?

She asked him to call her by name and he couldn?t help the slight surprise that flashed across his face, but then he settled his face into his usual blank expression. "Bẹẹni, Ojiṣẹ." He spoke, though his tone was still formal. She spoke of being stressed and the worry returned his face, backlegs folded and he seated himself before the white woman. "Ti Mo ye." He spoke softly, the formality dropping from his voice. "Ni gbogbo igba ti mo ti gbọ wọn ipe, kan shiver gbalaye nipasẹ mi." He gazed away for a moment, off to the distance where the northern wolves continued their existence, unaware of the sins they had committed.
