Vereux was in the south exploring if anything, and to get away from home. He had been feeling away lately, his green eye illuminated in the cloudy skies. The youth turned his head slightly as the wind brushed through the blue boys fur. It gave him chills slightly, why did he have such a bad feeling. Ever since he had been attacked at the borders, he had been more wary of the world than other children were. His eyes narrowed promptly as he shook his head, it must have been nothing. He would simply find something to eat, and then head home. Unknowing that his mother had followed him or of the storm that was brewing.
He had been stalking a rabbit, until the tree's started shaking. Bringing his ears to attention towards them. The wind was picking up, and at a fast rate making him a bit concerned. He hadn't lived long enough to know this kind of weather, and it was suddenly scaring him. When finally he was being thrashed about by wind, and rain. As he let out a small yelp hitting a tree on his back. But only mildly, enabling himself to get up to try and find out which direction was home, and what the hell was going on. Suddenly, a small piece of debris embedded itself into his eye starting from the top and tumbling down. At first he didn't realize it hurt. Then it suddenly hit him that there was something sewered into his eyeball the left one.
It made him dizzy as the youth crawled onto the ground now yowling and yelping with pain. Bringing his paws over to the debris naturally to try and get it out. But the tender flesh tore, and tore, blood swelling inside the socket. As he screamed until finally shivering he realized that his eye was no longer there. The stinging pain continued, sensitive to the back of his head. Where his eye socket bled and he growled. There had to be cobwebs somewhere to stop this if the storm hadn't blown them away! He had seen healers use it to stop bleeding, but only if he could get up first. He was so dizzy, Vereux whimpered. So dizzy from the pain.
NO! He wouldn't give up, he was an armada, he had a family to get home to. This sent him into a fury to howl if anyone was nearby possibly some help. As then his body moved to try and find some cobwebs. The youth finding himself seeing doubles but the adrenaline making it so it wasn't as worse as it could have been. Please PLEASE let there be someone nearby, he thought to himself. Teary eyed in his right good eye that was giving him sight. While the other one was painfully bleeding.

She knows they need to move to the mainland. Islands are no place to stay during a hurricane, and thus the mother has begun moving her children to safer ground, having started the moving the moment she senses something is off. Alas, her newest brood is safe, tucked away from harm?s way in a den that is far from water. The mother seeks a few branches to place in front of it, to block the rest of the rain from their faces. She also, perhaps, seeks the carcass of an unfortunate creature. Hungry mouths remain hungry, after all, storm or no storm.
She is busy searching when a familiar whimper catches the wind, and immediately the silver woman follows.
She arrives at the crumpled form of her son, uncertain why he is here, so far away from the safety Argent knew Glaciem could provide him. She pulls herself closer, noting his missing eye. ?Vereux!? she calls out, her voice stern but calm. She does not cry; the last thing her boy needs is her panic. She crouches near him, panic sitting hardy within her chest. ?Vereux it?s me. We have to get out of here, it isn?t safe. We need to find you a healer,? she tells him. She hopes he does not hate her, hopes he does not flinch from her as she attempts to lean her side against his. Her broken leg is just barely healing, but she cares not for her own comfort.
As always, the silver knight thinks only of her offspring. They are her purpose, her heart, and there is no competition for the fierceness of love she has for her children. She cares only that Vereux will be safe somewhere, and then she will worry about explaining herself.

The ringing in his ears continued, but he could scent, and know the sound of his mothers voice any where. She had been gone for a long time, he had cussed, he had cried because of it. And he had questioned why, but not any longer as he grew older. Part of him hated her for leaving him, for running when he felt like he needed her most. But his father made him realize because of his blood, he couldn't ever rely on someone else, he didn't need it. Vereux blurred vision brought it's attention to his mother wide eyed, at least his good eye in confusion. What was this an illusion.
"Mother....you..." He panted heavily. No, he had to get home, he had to warn his parents of the storm his father. The queen his aunt. "I...I have to get back, I have to go back to Glaciem. The others might be in danger if this......thing...continue's." The pup brought himself backwards looking around. Fuck, he couldn't tell where he was going. If his mother was real, perhaps she could lead him. Then he could find help.

She cannot deny the swell of pride she feels. Her boys, her brave little boy. He is growing fast into a brave man, devoted to his Kingdom as he ought to be. She listens to her son, and she presses her snout against the side of his face, where the blood drips down from his now vacant eye socket. ?I will help you, Vereux. I may have been gone, but Glaciem is still my Kingdom,? she says. She needs not a crown to be a Queen; the forests are her home, and she will defend them until her dying breath.
Alas, there remains but one issue.
?I have children with me, Vereux, your brothers and sisters. We have to take them as well,? she tells him. She cannot leave them in this storm alone, but to bring them is also dangerous. Alas, she has little choice; she can either send her half-blinded son into a storm all alone, with little chance of reaching the pack he is supposed to warn, thus dooming both pack and boy. Or, she can gather her little ones close, tell them to stay underneath her and help her son towards Glaciem.
She has no choice, and she seeks to rise, nudging Vereux to ask him to do the same.

Wait a minute? Babies? More of them, and not from his father? Half sister and brothers. He only knew this because it was easy to tell of pairings, but regardless they were innocent lives on the line even if he was in unimaginable pain. It hurt more than the scar that wrapped across his right leg did. Vereux tried to steady his breathing, he could take care of himself he swore, but only to be pushed by his mother. Making him give a soft painful growl as he swished his tail over her nose and hopped out of her nudges. He didn't want that right now, the important thing were the pups, and getting back home. No matter what, he wouldn't let himself die unless his father gave him strict permission to. He was an Armada, not a chew toy.
"Alright Alright, let's just hurry." Vereux snapped. Tiny pup teeth coming together as he let his mother lead the way to where the little ones were hiding. They were so small, he could tell that much. And for a few second he forgot about his pain to gather up two of them. Nudging and making sure they weren't currently hurt in the first place. They were alright, good, that was good. Now he needed to wait for his mothers instructions though, no matter what he was still inexperienced as hell.
