Boredom. Once again it creeped up on him as he meandered about his activities. There wasn't much a pup could do, but that didn't stop him from doing what he thought was right anyhow. As practice, he would occasionally patrol the borders. Though he mostly stayed out of sight of rogue wolves. They were unpredictable, and he was sure they would take advantage of a pup near the borders. Today, his task would bring him to a new part of their territory which was seemingly growing. And this place was certainly a sight. He walked along the edge of the ancient river bed, the light bouncing and reflecting off of the marble stones that stuck out from the ancient ground like skeletons. With a sigh, he sat down on his haunches and stared at it. He felt so lonely...
