All members must attend the meeting or they will be demoted, children must also show up since there will be something done for them. You all have until January 12th to have your wolf show up, if you wolf doesn't show before my next post is up, they will be demoted back to Clergy or to a tier 6 rank above Jester.

UPDATE; since it has become a big deal, remaining pups have till sunday, before 10 CST. Please don't do last minute posts.

Today was the day she would call the pack together, she had some important things to announce to the Kingdom, very big changes depending on how it affected individuals. The Queen would stand outside of the barn, nuzzling the children who made their way out with her, Gerhardt surely right behind. Just moments ago she had informed them of what would be going on, they would meet the rest of their pack, and their mother would make a few changes. Everyone had to show up.

Off she went, giving thought to where she would stop and give the call. At first she wanted to do it near the lake, but seeing as she was a small wolf it would be hard to look at all her members on level ground. So she would head towards the heart of the territory, towards the shed where old human machines lay sleeping, there were a few boxes and hay stacks against the wall that she could easily climb to look down on her kingdom.

Within minutes the family would reach the destination, each child told to line up beside their father at the base of the hay pile. With carefully steps she would climb her way to the top, moving some of the hay around so it was level enough for her to sit. With that she would lift her head to the sky, and give a long summoning hall, telling the Kingdom to come together for an important meeting. Now all she had to do was wait.

Malia slowly but surely was making her way around the borders of the lands she knew well to be Seracia. She heard the call as she was in the middle of hunting and her startled shake forced the food to run. She cursed silently to herself before running off towards the call. It was important and very clear; she had to be there, or else. Her light tawny fur brushed against the ground when she took a small tumble towards her running. She was tripping over her own paws to get to the place her queen resided. That was not good.

Eventually Malia reached the barn and with a small smile she gave her greeting. "Queen Loccian." Her greeting held the kind and bubbly attitude that she almost always held. She let her tail lower as a sign of submission as she gave a bow. She was anxious, maybe nervous about what the queen had to say. She would await the rest of the pack in silence and with a smile.

He would usher himself quietly behind his wife, his Queen. The children would each receive a lick atop their wriggling heads before he exited the barn and took a place beside her. Though he did not reign as her King, he would remain by her side always. A smile flickered across his lips, but it was quickly dominated by curiosity. What did his vixen have in mind for her Kingdom? What new ideas might he see put into action on this day? He watched as she climbed to the top of the haystack, leaving him at the bottom with the children. Though this smarted just a tad, he would say nothing, but instead give each child a stern look - reminding them of the importance of events such as this. Her call would ring out loud and proud and he would remain silent - forever the patient ex-King.

His body would rise and fall, the steady rhythm of easy breathing as he slept alongside his fiance. He dreamt of the day they would get married, and as he stirred from his sleep at the sound of a distant voice, he would make quick note to remember to ask Loccian about the event. Maverick had promised him a wedding before, and he hoped that Loccian would still allow it. Rising slowly, he extricated him from the warm curves of Aeil before standing to stretch. Rolling his shoulders, he stretched his muscles and legs in turn, yawning as he rubbed bleary eyes still full of sleep. Gently he nosed her neck, stirring her awake as he whispered into her ear. "Time to get up darling, Queen Loccian is summoning us."

Quietly he padded to the front of the den, waiting for Aeil to follow as he began to make his way towards the barn where the call came from. Every now and then he'd glance at his lovely wife to be, his eyes always full of love and pride that she was his. Swiftly he moved, and in no time at all they had gotten from their den by the lakeside to the heart of the territory. He nodded to those already gathered, Gerhardt and the children of he and Loccian, as well as a new face he had yet to meet. Taking a seat near Gerhardt and the children, he swept his tail over his haunches as he looked up at Loccian, a friendly smile on his face. "Good morning, Loccian. Your children have grown handsomely and beautifully." he would remark, a certain fondness in his eyes as he looked at them. He wondered what it would be like for him and Aeil to have children...he was both nervous and excited for that day.

Dawn had just arrived, the colors changed in the setting of the sky. Pacifica awake as usual well before the sun had risen...her thoughts still lingering on the grey Knight that had brought her into Seracia a couple seasons ago. She had not seen him since he left to War, and she was not sure where he could have gone or what could have happened to him...She knew he had a sister, but she had yet to meet her. Perhaps soon she could get some answers, she missed him and she needed to know what became of him. She had begun to fall, and he was not there to catch her. Was this what it felt like to have a broken heart? It sure felt that way...the usually strong woman felt like glass was stabbing her heart, her shoulders weighed down with the pressure of the world, her soul feeling like it was chained to the ground with worry.

Reluctantly she tore herself from her sitting position, from the location she had been at for well over a week. Waiting...hoping. But she began to feel that it was all in vain..."One day...I won't give up hope..." She tried so hard to keep herself from falling into the pits of depression, so hard to keep herself reassured. But each passing day made it harder. Why? She didn't know him that long...but they had a connection the day they met, the day they went fishing and shared a meal. That memory, she would never forget. Solemnly she entered into the scene of the meeting, her baby blue eyes doing their best to make it seem like nothing was wrong, and though it was hard, she didn't want to show her weakness in front of the others. Although it didn't help that the first to be there was her Queen and her mate and children, and Dragon and his mate...was she always going to be alone? Quietly and with a nod, she took a seat midway behind the Grand Duke and Duchess, waiting for the others to arrive. And only hope that by some miracle, the Knight Pontifex would show up....but something told her she had her hopes set too high.

The call went up in the air, icy blue eyes turning to gaze over the distance of the trees from where his den lied in the far reaches of the territory. He had purposefully made his den as far from the main activity of the pack in the North-eastern parts of Seracia, just to be alone in solitude like he had always been even before coming to Alacritis. But then, he felt he had reason to. After all, he was left behind yet again...and it was something he should have been used to, only this time it hurt more after having been numb for so long. He had warmed up and opened himself to someone, and now he was returning to his former shell of himself.

Slowly he rose to his paws, and the tri-colored Knight made his way towards the area the meeting was to take place. Icy blue eyes remained fixated on the ground even as he arrived to the location minutes later. He sat at the back of the small group, obviously not everyone had arrived but he was sure they would soon. He offered a brief glance and nod towards Loccian, though he refrained from eye contact and instead had looked at the hay at her feet when he had greeted her. He sat like a statue, tail lying out behind him and paws close together as he returned his gaze to the ground.

Destruction's head lifted from her paws at the sound of a familiar howl. A meeting? The dark furred woman rose from her den. She lived near one of the corners of the territory, close to the barn and lake. The dark woman would rise, slipping from her den quietly. Loccain had held the throne for a little while, though it was only natural that a meeting would come along to reveal the Queen's personal touches to the pack such as with ranks, pack alliance plans and whatnot.

As the woman headed in the direction of the pack meeting her mind briefly traveled to the brute she had encountered in the south. Aiden. What was he currently up to, she wondered? Her time spent with the fawn colored brute had been enjoyable... and she was hoping to come across him again. But there would be another time to go searching for him... she just hoped he didn't want off to some pack in the mean time.

Destruction emerged from behind the others, walking around the outside so that she bordered on the outside edges of everyone else while still being close enough to Loccian to be able to clearly hear her announcements. "Queen Loccian," She gave a deep nod of her head and a friendly flick of the tail before sitting down. Her gaze traveled to those presence, another nod being given towards Dragon in greeting when she met his gaze.

How the winter had flown by, Spring was already upon them and it barely seemed possible. It hadn't been the greatest of winters for the young male though, eagerly he'd pushed himself at the start of the season, aiding in caring for the pack in whatever ways he could. His own health had begun to deteriorate a little due to it though, the weather certainly not helping. Those few days he'd drifted in and out of consciousness were actually just over a week and though the male had fought off the illness and was recovering rather well now, his figure still had yet to return to it's typical shape.

He had kept his distance from the majority of the pack for a while now, wanting to make sure he recovered, particularly with the pups around now and it seemed rather than slowly bringing himself back he would be pushed back in through a meeting. A few members had already begun to gather, and he even noticed the pups sat by Gerdhart that could only be his and Loccian's children. Iorwerth hadn't yet seen them of course, though certainly hadn't anticipated them to have grown so much already.

With an polite dip of his head in greeting to the Queen, Iorwerth silently took a seat, patiently waiting to see what this meeting would be about. He had missed a fair amount probably, it would be very useful to see what was happening with the pack.

Slumber was taken from Aeil too fast. She was enjoying the warmth of her dreams and Dragon's frame beside her when the call was given. The Grand Duchess and her fianc?e were being summoned for a meeting. Her bleary blue eyes blinked open as she gave a big yawn, feeling the nudge of her gentle giant before he rose from beside her. She regretted losing his warmth and touch, but such things could be taken care of later. Her dark gray paws touched the cool ground and she rose with grace, shaking all over before she left the security of their den.
Spring had arrived at just the right moment. She loved the warmer weather, even though she had been born in the cold months. The sun hit her body as soon as she stepped outside and she enjoyed it with every fiber of her being. It automatically woke her up and she cherished it as she continued on the mini mission to look for her Queen. With Dragon beside her, they made their way towards the gathering.
It wasn't long before the run down shed came into view. Her gentle Queen was standing above on some hay bales, making her look more regal than usual. A smile appeared on Aeil's face as she approached the small set of wolves that had already showed up. Her eyes wandered to the row of pups that were seated beside her former King and she couldn't help but mutter a soft, "Awww..." She looked up at the seated form of Gerhardt and her eyes twinkled. He seemed so happy with having Loccian as his wife and their bundles of joy. It made her heart happy and with that in mind, she lowered onto her gray haunches beside Dragon to address her Queen with adoring eyes. "Good morning," she gently said, tones filled with warmth and happiness. "I hope you are doing well today, Queen Loccian."

The boy would be gently woken from his slumber, his mother's coos heard within his dusty ears. Today was the meeting, and he would get to meet the whole rest of the pack. It was a big day for them all, and he would do his best to be brave for his momma. All the wolves he would see today were kind, and only wanted to see him grow up right. Silent had proved that to him, so he was quite excited to get to see her again that day. He would squeeze between the barn doors after his family, his jolly gait carrying him to where Loccian would address the pack. Oh so badly he would want to jump upon the pedestal, but his father's gaze warned him to behave so obediently he would take a seat in between Gerhardt's feet.
Bright blue gaze would take in all the new faces as each one would approach his mother, not many looked at him, but a few were kind enough to share their words with him. The first, a brute with interesting facial markings would approach he would compliment them as a pretty she wolf of grey would follow. His tail would thump happily at them excitedly as he was hardly able to keep himself seated. Both her very kind, but Elias wanted to know their names. A whine would escape his lips as he looked up to his father whispering, "What'r their names dad?" as he peeked around his leg to catch another glimpse after they had taken a seat.

Walk | Talk | Think

Slowly but surely Tahlia was working toward coming back out into the pack. Mostly in part because of the independence of her growing children. She had less and less to do inside their den, less involving them that they wished her to do, and was constantly having to find them nearby. They were leaving her in the dust with how much they were advancing, showing much the same independent streak that their father possessed. And while it pleased her since she knew they would never fear going after what they wanted, she knew the risks it posed inside Seracia. Seracia demanded loyalty, dedication, and a very particular conduct; a conduct that did not seem to mesh with that of their father.

They had done nothing to risk their standing in the pack this far, but their mother was ever watchful, ever conscious of their actions and choices. She wanted more than anything to be strict with them, to drill into them the importance of their behavior within and around the pack, but she also feared coming off too strongly and driving them away. They were her children and already having to deal with their father's banishment; it would have killed her to make things even worse for them.

So it was with a mild trepidation that she approached the shed where Loccian's call had resonated from, dark golden eyes sweeping every which way as she neared. Where were the pups? With Loccian taking up the mantle as leader, Tahlia was still learning how Seracia was changing and what the new expectations would be, and she was nervous that in the pups' inattention they might ignore or overstep those new boundaries. Seeing none of them, she could not wait any longer and entered somewhat slowly into the structure, still harboring a certain level of distrust for the remnants of the human world. Others were already there, gathered around their grey queen raised above her followers. A cordial and respectful dip of her head was made Loccian's way and the woman took a seat among the others with a clear view of the opened shed door, attention continually shifting toward it in expectation of seeing her children arrive before their good standing with the pack could be jeopardized.

Arian's body was growing, obviously with her being a season away from being an adult now. The girls body was filling out to her more red wolf form with a white underbelly and the white eye patch on her left eye. When the queen's call came, Arian looked up from the patch of herbs she had been looking at with springs coming. Her tail flicked as she started towards the call, already others from the kingdom had gathered. And while she looked around for a sign of her parents there was none. She gave a soft sigh, before finding a seat in the middle distance between herself and the queen she had grown comfortable around. Her phobia nearly seemed non existent now. Luckily enough, she knew that there was much more scary things out there, for sure.
Her blue eyes searched over those she knew, and then those she didn't. If only her siblings were here right now, things would be a lot more interesting. Not that pack meetings weren't exciting. The thought brought a giggle to her maw, the young one wagging her tail happily. She was still optimistic, that part of her personality she had received from her father Natsu. While she was a long way from the valhallan pack that her father was in, she was happy here. With her new parents who had taken her in after her birth family had died. For that, she would forever be grateful to Seracia. And she was happy to be training in the arts of healing for them.

Loccian's howl did not go unnoticed. Silent was in the process of catching fish at the nearby stream when the call reached her ears. They immediately pricked and she slowly rose from her crouched position on the bank. Quickly shaking all over, Silent padded towards the den where her babies were currently napping. Every time she turned around, she saw them sleeping. A gentle shake of her head was given and she chuckled beneath her breath.
"Come along, my darlings!" She called, tones gentle and warm like the fresh spring breeze that swept across her part of the woods. "Queen Loccian has summoned her loyal subjects and we must not be late!" Her eyes graced over Ara and Faolan's forms before settling on Jendai and Mercury. Her tail gently tapped Mercury's rump before they set out to the location Loccian had chosen to have the meeting. Lucky for Silent, the location wasn't far from where they resided, so she felt grateful for the short distance.
Her pups, now going on seven months of age, broke through the underbrush and surrounding trees to announce their presence. She silently followed, but made sure that they were all present and accounted for. With a flick of her tail and a stern gaze, she cleared her throat to ensure they knew the protocol for being at a pack meeting. They all did their best to show how well they could behave and it made her chest swell with pride. If only Bronze could see them now...
Silent's ears slightly flattened at the thought of her husband. She wished that he was beside her, but she knew it was only temporary. A gentle sigh escaped the female's lips and her heart gave an extra beat when she imagined his form resting next to her. Upon reclining to her haunches beside Mercury, she curled her tail around her form and patiently waited for the meeting to begin.

"Come along, my darlings!" Her mother's warm voice gently woke her from the nap she was currently in the middle of with her sibleings. As much as she didn't like getting woken up, she was much more excited about the thought of a pack meeting. She blinked open her eyes and rolled over onto her paws with a yawn. After stretching and shaking out her two-toned fur she trotted out of the den after her mother, following Silent all the way to the meeting with out complaint.

Once they arrived at the meeting Jendai sat down beside her mother like a good pup, but her green gaze looked at all the wolves around them with wide-eyed curiosity. There was so many wolves here she had never seen before and she wondered who they all were. She recognized Squall and wanted to run over and say hello, but she held still instead. Jendai still fidgeted with excitement in her spot though, nothing could stop her endless energy. She waited eagerly to see what this whole 'meeting' thing was about.

She laid there on her back, pale green orbs looking at the world upside down near the lake. How funny things could be, if one didn't know better, they wouldn't be able to tell what was sky or lake. The lake had a perfect reflection of the blue sky, clouds and all. The brief beauty of such a thing eased the pain in her body and soul. But it would not last long with a call from Queen Loccian. The earthen yearling rolled to her belly, ears perked. It sounded like this involved the whole pack and she could not ignore it. She didn't want to face a large group of wolves again. Already her heart had begun to race, breathing becoming labored and heavy. But what could she do?

Slowly she pulled herself up and in the direction of the call. She moved slowly, trying to calm herself down before joining the pack. Last thing she needed was for everyone to think she was not mentally right. And she didn't want anyone to see her weak in any form. Even when she reached the odd structure she lingered back. She had never been to this part of the territory and honestly that thing near Loccian freaked her out. She looked at the others already seated. So many, more than the last meeting! She shifted from paw to paw. If she wasn't trying to conceal her uneasiness she would have whined by now. Her eyes spotted Squall, the male she had recently met. He didn't seem to inclined to mingle with the others. Slowly emerging from her cover she slinked over to the tri-colored brute. She wanted to attract no attention to herself so she made herself as small as possible. A foot away from Squall eyes darted about, unsure if he would accept her presence. But one look at Queen Loccian she darted over to his side.

She didn't realize she had pressed her body close to his side, shivering with wracking nerves. She didn't though pull herself together to dip her head to the queen before curling in on herself, eyes downcast. She prayed this meeting would go by fast so she could flee out of there. She didn't want others asking why she was so isolated, why she never spoke, why this cloud of depression hung over her. Only the queen knew, and that was all Rohini could handle to tell anyone right now.

Momma was going to call a meeting with the pack today, and she wanted the whole family to be there. Enola wasn't too happy about it, she was actually quite scared to be out there with so many wolves she didn't know. The girl would take a deep breath though, try to be brave for mother. And so she would follow silently, close to her siblings, no farther than a hair away from them. And once they reached the spot she would sit very close to the hay pile mother climbed on top of, so close that her back was almost pressed up right on it. Ears would lay back on her head which was held low, tail wrapped around her little body nervously.

.ooc. Hey Wynn, the babies are 9 months old now =D
He would be disturbed gently by the sound of his mother's voice, his nap suddenly disturbed by a sense of urgency and duty. They were to be escorted to a pack meeting. He would yawn widely as his purple-orange gaze would take in his sister beside him and his mother's warm touch. He would giggle as he followed closely behind her to where everyone would be gathering. His gaze would come to rest upon all of the wolves that were there, his awe obvious in his face as he took a seat, his mother's stern gaze would remind him to behave as the meeting would take place. She would sit next to him as Jendai took a seat on her other side. His gaze would wander to the pups that sat beneath Loccian's form, they all seemed to small compared to him. He had to wonder if he had really been that small. He'd spare them a grin as his attention was focused back upon the queen and her words.

Walk | Talk | Think

She had been out in the field again, romping and playing in what was left of the snow. It had been just another adventurous outing to see whether the land had recouped from winter yet - which it was still in the process of doing - and had turned into something like a self-taught lesson in hunting. The scratching had started up again, drawing the young girl's attention and causing her to slip quietly into a crouch and slink about in pursuit of it. Still learning, Anais was driven mainly by instinct toward an inconspicuous rise in the ground, partially covered in snow. Whatever was making the scratching noise was close, incredibly so, and her back half wriggled expectantly as she stared at the spot with wide yellow-gold eyes and alert ears.

The call shattered her attention with a startled jump, and though she had lost her concentration she was sorely tempted to hold off a bit longer, to see if she could get the noise maker before her tardiness would be noticed. But even as she began to crouch again she could hear her mother's voice in the back of her mind. No, she'd kill me. Abandoning her search the light golden-grey youth left the field and traveled toward the call, spotting the other pack members and following them into the shed. She hesitated in the doorway - it was her first rime in the structure and she was still not entirely convinced there was no Sharp Tooth here like she had been warned about the barn - but catching the eye of her mother Anais wagged her tail with a nervous smile and padded over to join her in waiting.

Creeping and crawling like the sea over sand.
Still I follow heartlines on your hand.

And there?s fantasy, there?s fallacy, there?s tumbling stone.

Echoes of a city that?s long overgrown.

Nizhoni was more than excited when his mother called the pack together. It had been a while since his first adventure outside of the den, but he hadn't met most of the names he heard pass between his mother and father's mouths. He wriggled and danced as his mother herded them out of the barn and into the woods. He walked close to Elias and Enola, keeping a careful eye on them both as they passed under the newly leafed trees. When they finally came to a clearing, he saw it held a building much like their barn, only smaller. He gathered among his siblings where they were told to sit and waited as patiently as he could. His mother's howl, when she let loose, made his eyes go wide as saucers. He drew in a deep breath, wanting to join her like they all sometimes did, but held back at the last moment.

It was only scant moments before members of his family began to show up. Of course, they weren't really related to him, mostly, but they were still a pack and he figured that was close enough. For every familiar face, there were three he'd never seen before. A wide grin split his face, trying to take it all in at once and see everything there was to see. He heard his brother as their dad who everyone was, and Nizhoni tried to listen in for the answer. He noticed many of those who appeared cast approving glances their way, and one or two even offered a compliment. Many greeted his mother, and Nizhoni could not help but swell with pride. He wasn't exactly sure what was going on, but he decided he like pack meetings.

I'M GONNA BE THE MAIN EVENT

like no king was before

The once-king would stroll onto the scene only moments after the call rang out, though it seemed that several wolves had beaten him to the punch. It seemed, as a father, his days of prompt arrivals were through. Russet crown twitched to the side and over his shoulder in efforts to spot his immediate kin. Epiphron was likely not far behind him, and his children would be with her - the youngest ones at least. The older four would likely come of their own accord, and so he wouldn't give much effort to find them just yet. It was different to attend a meeting and have nothing of importance prepared to say, it was relieving in some ways, and bittersweet in others. The Infante would relax to his haunches, giving a gaze to his young siblings at his father's side. Curious how his two direct siblings had made themselves scarce about the time these had arrived, perhaps this was the creator's way of giving him a second chance at being a decent brother - it seemed he had failed the first time.
