Tender is the fur, dying as you purr
Death was near. The stench of rot hung in the air. The behemoth was dirty. Sand lined her pelt like a coat within a coat. She had been trecking for a day through the horrible dunes. Her mind slowly melted away. She had no clue why she was there. Her pads were blistered and damaged from the hot layer of sand. Her eyes were fuzzy from the bright sun that beamed down on her. Her creamy pelt blended in with the rolling dunes from afar. She had good coverage but the buzzards hung near encase she fell. From anothers standpoint one would see there was something wrong with the woman. She twitched here and there. Each step seemed to pain her mentally. As if it was forced. Her tail hung low, the tips of her wispy white fur slithered upon the sea of sand behind her. She would continue on until she reached her unknown destination.

With each step her paws hurt more and more. He fur collected more and more sand. Kodda looked around, her eyes straining to see. She looked to her left to see a black dot. She tilted her head and stopped her pace. Her paws sizzled from the constant heat. The huge woman licked her nose, her tongue dry as ever. Was it a creature? The voices urged her to go on and greet whatever it was. Maybe is was another vision. She nodded to herself and pranced on down the dune. She slid down on her paws, kicking up sand behind her. Kodda snickered softly as the sand danced widely around her. The white Wolf began to see the image of a multi-colored Wolf. She was oddly social at that moment, yet she said nothing as she grew closer to him. Kodda looked down before she looked back at him with slightly empty eyes. Her head twitched to the right slightly. The shaggy behemoth nodded to him. "H-h-hi." She tried very hard to get out that single word. It was difficult to get her mouth to bring forth the right sounds to make a word. It was like her body and her mind did not wish to work together.

Orange eyes beamed at the man before her. She eyed him gently, those lost eyes sucking everything in. Kodda kneaded the earth with her claws, the sand sticking to her bloody blisters. The white dame tilted her head as he studied her, there was no threatening gestures emitted so the woman remained calm. She looked down slightly, it seemed to be a habit of hers. She stared at the sand as she heard the man speak. He was so fluent, the woman envied him. She twitched gently as everything seemed to slow down. She looked to him, sand blowing their way slightly. The behemoth opened her mouth to speak but nothing but, "N-n-n-n.." came out. She shook her head and looked down once more. Her orange eyes withdrew even more. She knew she wasn't normal but she could not bring herself to say the word. Kodda then began to shake her head even more, telling him no. She licked her lips and twitched once more. That time she managed to get out a few words. "K-kodda.. I am h-h-heading that way to g-grassy.. l-l-land." She swallowed nervously, slightly paranoid. She looked back to him. "C-come?"
