She wasn't sure what had brought her back to this place, as she came to a halt at the edge of a cliff, her golden eyes staring down into the misty crevice where the water-fall sprayed. The last time she was here, she had met Seraphim, the once beta of Tortuga, a friend, and perhaps in time he would have became something more. So much had happened since the first time she had spoke with him, here on the water-fall's edge. From the war with Valhalla, giving birth to Irune, Seraphim's ultimatum... So many things had changed.

She had remained close to Glaciem, since she had returned with Irune. She did her best to play the part of 'good healer', to keep the peace. Today was the first time that she had ventured so far from her home. She just needed to breathe. Deep breaths filled her lungs, and she watched with a slightly bored expression, as with each, exhale the breath that left her billowed on the night sky. It was cold, but not as cold as it had been. Winter was fading into spring, and she welcomed the hopefully warmer days.

The aging she-wolf, stared off into the water-fall, contemplating her life, her fate, just thinking about anything... everything. Her mind was a tumult of thoughts, she couldn't pick out just one to focus on, rather all the voices and things in her head seemed to scream at her. Demanding her attention to be focused on them, and not split between them. A frustrated sigh left her, as she tried to calm her mind.

There was moisture in the air and a coolness with it. It did not smell of rain, nor of the water drawn from plants that made the air cool, no this was a waterfall. Isabella had only seen one in her life, a small one back home and even that amazed her. No doubt it was tied in some way with the ocean and that meant it was tied with the Spirit of The Ocean. To her it was water doing what it was meant to do, go back to the sea from where it came. It was a journey she wanted to see and maybe reflect by for a while.

Following the coolness a distant roar came with it, the sound falls. Ears up the fox colored female moved on in the direction. Normally her steps were as calm as her demeanor and as cold as her eyes but now there was a small spring in them to only be seen if one looked closely. After all the land was a dangerous place, best not to let silly joy lead to falling and injury. The sent, cool, and sound lead to the base of a mountain where it seemed there were few safe ways up. Staying at the bottom of the cascading water simply would not do for Isabella so without hesitation he found a way up and went for it.

The trip wasn't that hard, she was small, swift and had long since been a traveler. It helped that she was excited to get to a good viewing point. Moving on she made it to the look out point to find there was another wolf there, a small female that seemed older than her. Isabella respected those older than her, and the wolf seemed to be looking at the waterfall in though, something that Isabella could appreciate. So when she spoke she decided to speak a little more than simple greeting. "Hello there stranger. Looks like I am not the only one to seek out the majesty of such a sight. I am Isabella VentFlurrer, loner. This waterfall is amazing, is it not?" Her words were empty yet not as distant as they normally were.

The tawny colored dame had been unsuspecting the approach of another, it seemed pure coincidence, that the scent that billowed in the air was of another wolf, that she did not know. When the dame spoke, she turned to face her, her gaze quickly raking over the other, and determining due to her words she most likely wasn't a threat. As the other spoke of the beauty of the waterfall, she glanced back at it, her golden eyes freezing on the abyss. Perhaps it was beautiful but to her, this waterfall would always be a symbol of change. Isabella VentFlurrer was the name of the woman, and the healer felt a small smile pull to her jaws before she would speak.

"Hello Isabella," she would begin, her light soprano voice, holding a twinge of warmth. "I suppose it's beauty would depend on your perspective, though I am sure that in the spring it is a sight to behold." She would grow silent a moment, before remembering that this woman didn't know who she was. "I am Eris, curer of Glaciem." Her golden eyes would linger on the others, wondering if this woman had heard of this ice kingdom, and wondering what opinion she held, of it, if she had.

The voice of the other was light and kind, even a bit warm in contrast to her own. For a moment Isabella wondered what it would be like to be warm to everyone, to throw away caution and open up to all. Then again she had met wolves like that and found them rather annoying. Surly there was a middle ground though but Isabella knew it wasn't for her. Either way, she wanted to at least not be rude to the one who was kind, at least not without warrant.

As the woman spoke of the waterfall and perspective Isabella nodded her head. It wasn't as if everyone saw the world the way she did, after all she had faced those who did not share in her belief of The Spirit of the Ocean. As the woman fell silent, Isabella was not sure what to do, she wasn't exactly the best in social situations. Luckily she didn't have to worry much when the woman spoke giving her name, pack and job. It was good to finally here of a pack, she had met another of one pack, crossed onto the borders of a different pack but perhaps this was her chance to learn of one.

"Eris, I shall be sure to remember that name. And the name of your pack, though I have yet to have heard of it. I do know however that packs can be very different having been in one who saw power in blood, my home pack, and one that saw teaching as a way of life, a now disbanded pack. May I ask what Glaciem is like?" Part of her would always want to be in a pack, to have a home and perhaps if she could learn of he packs of he land she could find a home.
