They had left him, abandoned him. The only ones in his life he had trusted never to leave him had. He would never forgive them for this, his mother and his? Thinking about his sister was painful, he could feel a tightness in his chest at the knowledge that the only wolf he had cared for was gone. They had brought change once again to the ivory pup and how he hated change. Where a saner wolf might have felt pain, sadness and grief over losing the last important ones in their lives, Lel?s diseased mind registered only anger, pure unadulterated rage. Yes they would pay, if he ever saw them again Lel would make them sorry they had left him. He would hurt them as they had hurt him. The ivory pup was pacing angrily within the cavern, growls rumbling from his chest. The boy had grown some, his full size starting to become evident. He would be big, would be imposing, would be a dreadful thing to face. At the moment, the whole of his being was focused on one thing and one thing only, the revenge he would seek against his ?family.? He would never grow close to another again, what little of his heart was able to feel attachment grown cold and closed off.
