OOC: Anyone who wants to jump in can!

Malia was careful to place where her footsteps, being meticulous about everything she did and where she went. Her amber gaze passed around the forest that she stood at, her nose busy to get to work finding some food or even another wolf to talk to. She was a social wolf at the very least, and she enjoyed conversations with complete strangers. Except, if those strangers were mean or attacked her, she didn?t want to talk to them. Her powerful jaws were lightly compressed together. Her lean and muscular legs carried her swiftly through the forest, getting closer and closer to a place to know as the Range. She had no idea, of course, that it was happening.

Malia gave a small chuckle to herself, she was so silly sometimes, but sometimes she was serious. She kind of just needed to make up her mind. She gave up on searching for another wolf to talk to. Instead she just wandered around aimlessly. A giggle, a light bounce to the head as she walked, it all showed that she was happy. But when wasn?t she happy?

Still without a place to call a home of her own, the fox colored female searched the land. All the traveling was making her hungry and she was drawn to a forest, forests always had food. Her small form made her way though the dense forest, it was no easy task but it wasn't quite hard either. She had always learned to walk carefully, to make each step a step she would not regret and to hold herself proudly. All of that she did as her icy blue eyes searched for tracks below the brush. A place not easy for hunters to reach most likely meant more preythings. Her hunch was right as she soon saw tracks of what was most likely a rabbit.

"No doubt you will be hard to catch here, but I will find you." She thought following the tracks. For a moment she paused catching scent of another wolf, a she-wolf by the smell. Isabella hesitated, if the other wolf was there maybe they were hungry and just maybe they could hunt together. Her ears rose higher as she heard soft giggling, the wolf sounded friendly enough so she decided to go check it out.

It wasn't long before she saw the lean female, larger than herself but perhaps not older. Watching from a distance she took in all she could about the wolf. The wolf seemed happy enough but it did not seem as alert as she. "You should be more careful. You don't know if others are around. No wolf should ever drop their guard in a new land." Though her advice came off as emotionless and cold she meant well. She only wanted to show she was not a threat to the female, even if her cold response could have been taken as a scolding or even something snobby. "And perhaps if you are more silent, more alert, we could help each other." Though it did not sound it, this was a kind offer that she hoped the overly happy wolf would take interest in.

Malia turned to the female as soon as she heard the voice. She turned with a wag of her tail, her eyes beaming brightly with happiness as she normally did. "This is true, but I don?t think that?ll be much of an issue. I?ve never gotten into a fight once in my life and I don?t intend to fight anytime soon!" She said with a small giggle. "I?m Malia, an? I can be super sneaky, like one of ?dem ninja wolves." She said, pretending to sneak around in the forest, stepping lightly on her paws, she was being silly, but she could tell the other wolf was serious. She stopped with a small dip of her head in apology.

"Sorry, I guess I still got me kid of me." She said with a smile, not realizing that the words made no sense just strung together. "I?m a hunter, but how can ya help me, Miss whatever your name is?" She said in a quiet voice, looking around with her haunches raised in case she had to bolt or something similar of the sorts. "Malia Lagi, so ya know." She stated her name again, throwing her last name in for if the fae was interested. She examined the fox looking wolf. She had a light red coat, well, it was more of between a moderate red and dark red.

"Speech."

Ah yes, this wolf was indeed happy, it was clear by her tail and very clear by her eyes. "Foolish actions really, why would anyone do such a thing. Tail wagging? laughing? Not me, never." She thought though did not want to say such things out loud, not yet. "Never been in a fight?" Isabella raised a brow, what a notion. "Odd, have you not been in a pack? Or crossed strangers that are not to kind? They are out there you know, that is why I try to always be on guard." Even now her ears were up and moving a bit to pick up any others that joined them.

Watching the other wolf, Malia bound around her head almost tilted. "Ninja wolves? I suppose you mean spies? I don't think they sneak quite like that." The woman's next words were confusing. "You still...ah you still have your child side to you, yes I see." Isabella almost wished she had a chance to have that, but not after life in her her pack. Her eyes flashed with emotion for a moment, hope, desire but that soon faded. Standing tall and proud at the question from Malia she spoke. "I am swift and light on my feet. Enough so to drive a deer any way I wish. However I cannot take a dear down by myself, at least not easily.

Isabella noticed the woman change her stance, perhaps there was some sense in this one who seemed to play so much. Good, she would need that. "Forgive my manors Malia Lagi, I am Isabella VentFlurrer. Are you interested in my offer?" Her voice was a bit less cold but every bit as formal.

Malia gave a nod and a smile to respond to what the wolf said. She preferred the term Ninja Wolf to Spy, but she didn't say nothing about it. She thought about the offer, and she was taking it seriously. "Only if ya lighten up a bit, wayyyy to serious Isabella." She said with a small giggle. She didn't mean to offend anyone, but she was curious how the girl would react. The tawny girl was still bouncing around, her dull amber eyes were filled with curiosity and excitement. Malia was alright, the omnomnomivore could do anything really. She didn't need anyone else, at least not in her mind. But it never hurt to have company.

Isabella merely blinked as Malia spoke of her and laughed. Then the girl hopped around some more. [/B]"Perhaps you are not serious enough. Have you never been in a situation where you could be prey for another? Be it wolf or otherwise, all of this laughing and hoping around just makes you more of a target. Besides, what seance is there in it?"[/B] For her there was none, even in the rare occasions she let herself roll in some dust or play in some snow she questioned her own actions. "Anyway, I don't think there is a way for me to 'lighten up' that is unless I am hunting. There is noting that makes me happier than the hunt." Neither her words nor her tail gave away any sign of that joy but her eyes seemed to brighten, if only just a bit, at the thought of hunting. She hoped she would not have to jump though any ridiculous hoops to get the chance to hunt with another. She wanted deer, no doubt they would be fat in this place so hard to hunt in, and the only way to get it would be to work with another.

Malia gave a small giggle, she could be careful when she wanted to. She could be serious if she tried. She just never put in the effort. "Young grasshopper, I can be serious when I want, and I decide not to be. You see, if ya lose your child, then your life is just plain boring." She retorted stubbornly but with a silly tone. She had a lot to think about when she was alone, but other wolves never understood that she acted a certain way for a reason. Her brown, tan and white fur was smooth as she worked her way through the trees, away from Isabella. She called out to the serious wolf as she left. "If ya can't agree to loosen up, then sorry. I can't work with ya." She left without a second thought. She was often acting carefree and she tried to not be rude. Even though leaving without giving the wolf a chance to say goodbye was kinda rude too.

Isabella tiled her head when Malia spoke, what on earth was she talking about? "Grasshopper? What does that even mean? And 'young', I am don't even know if I am considered that anymore." The woman's tone, her movements her words, everything she did was strange. Boring, at least that she could understand but a long as hunting existed she would never be bored. Watching the more playful wolf leave she nodded. "Well then, that is just the way it is. Farewell." She did not know if her words reached the female but picking a path in the opposite direction she moved on. "Another solo hunt then. So be it. I will not change who I am just to work with another." The openness and playful ways of the other reminded Isabella of the pack she once loved but perhaps it is why the pack was a thing of the past. Not being serious enough, leads to not being organized and being too open to others to attack them. With that in mind Isabella went on in hopes to find some sort of meal.

-Exit Isabella.
