Argent was gone, lost; and against the pulling of dread, the fear that she had passed at the hands of nature herself, he would begin to seek answers. His new queen (only by title, of course) had gifted him vital information, and with the knowledge of Taurig?s most loved empress profound upon his indestructible mind, Isardis would saunter with a pride and impulse greater than the last time he had met at the feet of his enemies. It was only natural to take the boy's adoration, as he had done so thoughtlessly to The Northern King. An unswayable hatred would seethe his lips as his haunting call would cry, defences raised as a handful of his people moved in tow. If Taurig could present some kind of information as to Argent?s departure, perhaps he would spare the ?golden woman? upon a term of agreement. After all, exactly how well did a blind man brawl?
Isardis vs. Taurig? ? Round 0 of ??

For Maija

Ooc; Because I know this could cause some? commotion, Isardis could be open to deal-making, it just depends on Taurig.

Only Tortugans allowed will be Tidus, Jack and Hansel please. No other Torts can post here.

A nuisance. A pest. A disease. He was hard to kill, hard to get rid of, and every attempt made to do so only brought him back again. He was infestation; a damn annoying one that was for sure. He was sick. Something in that diseased mind of his wasn't working properly and wasn't allowing things to completely click. But who's fault was that? Certainly not Taurig's. Just because the bastard had sired him didn't mean that he owed him anything; not loyalty, love or anything else. What had the ghost given the cobalt titan? A place to reside in? A rank in a pack? He could get that anywhere. That was nothing special, certainly nothing that merited Taurig's undying devotion. And just how he got the rest of his bloodline to follow him was beyond the Re and frankly he didn't care. The less he had to do with that pink parasite, the better.

After having successfully moved the pack to Inu Island, their new home, the Re had returned to the old lands of Tortuga to give it a once over. It had appeared that the entire pack had come along for the move, but he wasn't entirely sure and so he had come back, bringing along with him three pack members who had insisted on accompanying him. He would've turned down their offer, but his condition didn't really leave room for argument. He wasn't completely defenseless, but it didn't hurt to have some company. And it was a good thing his men had come because as he was making the last rounds across his old kingdom, the parasite's voice would poison the atmosphere, grating the Re's tattered ears. With a snarl he would turn towards the direction of the battlefield, Tidus to his right, Hansel to his left and Jack bringing up the rear; all four men in sync. These men weren't just his men, they were his family, his pack mates, and they followed him out of true loyalty.

The overwhelming stench of blood would hit the titan's nostrils, making his lips curling back in distaste. Mixed in with the stale blood was the stench of the parasite, offensive to the Re. But he would continue forward nonetheless, already knowing quite well what this was about. Isardis blamed him for Argent's disappearance. How could he not if everything that went bad in his life was Taurig's fault? Of course Argent would run off because of him. When the parasitic smell became overpowering, he would bring himself to a standstill, Tidus, Hansel and Jack mimicking the movement as they kept a close circle around him, unwilling to allow anyone to get too close to him. Save me the trouble. Argent isn't with me nor do I know where she is. Her whereabouts are none of my concern, since she is your female. Perhaps instead of wasting my time here you should be out there actually looking for her if you apparently care about her so much. Blame me if you will, I speak no lies. I have not seen her, nor spoken to her nor do I know where she might be or what could've happened to her. If she's missing, that's your problem, not mine. He would state coolly, having already dismissed the entire situation. Bodice would move towards his right, already in a half circle, ready to make his departure. He had no reason to be here when he had nothing that Isardis wanted or needed.

He would accompany his Re, his beloved king and brother back to the mainland. Taurig was intent on returning to ensure that nobody had been left behind, and though he had insisted that the others stay it was Tidus who managed to get the stubbornly kind male to give in. Tidus would not have allowed him to come back alone, not because of Taurig's blindness no, but because he wanted to make sure that he wouldn't get ambushed by the dirty northern pack's lowlife warriors. They were never to be trusted, and it was the northern pack themselves who brought those thoughts to all who knew about them. They brought it upon themselves, and Tidus would not put it past them to do something moronic and downright dirty.

It was then he heard the cry of the northern pink male. Ha...pink...such a demanning color. He must be downright ashamed of himself being such a sight for sore eyes. It's no wonder his pride is wounded so easily, damn bastard can hardly stand to look at himself. He trudged alongside his Re, his comrades Hansel and the strange pirate Jack with them, the trio making a tight circle around their Re. But it wasn't just for the fact he was their king, Taurig was like family, like their brother. And family always looked out for each other no matter what. And when someone tried to mess with one of their own, then they had the entire pack to deal with. That was the way of a real loyal family. Mismatched black paws stopped at the same moment as Taur, his good oceanic blue eye staring down at the pink toed pony standing before them. Taurig saying his piece, wanting nothing more to do with the bastards dramatized pride. With a smirk, Tidus would fall in step once more with the cobalt Re, saying nothing to the northern king. Then again, he had no breath to waste on him.

Dedication would flow through the veins of Hansel's being. Loyalty etched in his bones. Never did he think he would be following one of the greatest kings to go down in history, yet here he was falling in step with Taurig, the great cobalt king! Hansel had found a profound and deep respect for Taurig, he had been through so much and overcome the most challenging obstacles, yet not even that had stopped him. And so it was with this dedication and loyalty as part of a family that Hansel would go with his new brothers, to watch each others backs and protect one another from the clutches of the enemy. Nobody would be left behind on his watch.

Hearing the familiar call of a man who Hansel could care less about, he followed in perfect rhythm towards the battle field. A roll of his eyes and an exasperated and annoying sigh from his lips when he saw who was standing there, waiting. Apparently, the northern king just wouldn't stop. He seemed intent on wanting to take away and expect everything in return. Well surprise surprise...that's not the way the world worked. The assassin would come to a stop, perfect synchronization with his comrades. Icy blue eyes staring coldly at the one that was proclaimed the enemy. Some foolish nerve he had...

Jack

Following his Re, Jack sauntered in perfect sync. Even his own drunken styled walk falling in step with that of the three men whom he had chosen to follow. Did he feel like he could protect his beloved Re? Sure. Why not? He had the fight skills, but he wasn't always too keen on getting into a fight if he could help it. Especially needless battles over broken pride and psychotic madness. Yes, that is what Jack thought about the call of the pink furry male who had called across the lands. The call being heard from old Tortugan lands from whence they came. They had come to make sure everyone had gone, and it was there they heard it.

Jack kept an ever present faint smirk on his face, as if always taunting those who thought themselves better. Ha! As if they deserved his respect anyway. The only one he thought worthy of such a prize was the cobalt king and his packmates, though it was hardly a forcible suggestion. Jack seldom gave his respect and undying loyalty to anyone except to those who truly deserved it. And Taurig of course, did deserve it. He had not forced Jack to give it to him, nor did he use fear or aggression or any type of force for it. Taurig gave to them, and in return they had given themselves to him. Their loyalty, their dedication, their strength, their hearts. Nothing was stronger. Upon stopping at their point of destination, Jack stared lazily at the coral male across the way. Hazel eyes showing no interest in the form. Pink was not befitting for a man.

He remained still, his stature at full height as he stood behind his Re. Aware of anything and everything. He was after all, a master thief. A pirate, nothing could surpass his senses.

Chill felt the cold wind whip around her body, tugging at her fur and rustling the thick mane of white and grey that grew around her neck. Her home has been quiet for quite a long time, and she was enjoying sitting her with new adopted son Rin, teaching him about Mother Nature, and the villains she grew upon her land. But that wasn't the best part, the best part was learning about him, learning about his pack, his family, his mother, and better yet, his father. That was when Chill lifted an eyebrow at him one day, how could one child, a son of the alpha, potentially next in line to the throne want to leave and follow a nomad like her and learn the art of poison making?

Everyday she would think upon that question, but never once did regret tickle her mind. Everyday though she would patrol her boundaries re-marking the area and wiping out traces of Rin's scent from amongst the branches to ensure that his pack could not find him. He belonged to her now, he was her prize, she would influence his actions everyday, instill in his mind that he was to be her guardian, and he would learn the art of poison making.

But one day during their many classes a call from the battlefield caught her attention. The vixen would draw her head upward and allow her ears to tip toward the sky as her lips folded in general dislike for that particular voice. Chill never met Rin's father, but she was no fool, she her whispers on the wind, the birds whistled tales of his barbarian nature, of his lack of intelligence, of his bloodthirsty mannerism. The birds would also sit in their branches high above Chill and give her the rest of the gossip, the butchering at a pack's territory, and the constant hounding of the one that was already so dreadfully maimed that survival might have become an issue.

The birds came again though as she sat with her new apprentice under one of the trees after her daily patrol. The black crow landed and whistled, telling her of a challenge that was issued yet again against the blind wolf, by this Isardis. Chill was an evil animal, don't get her wrong, in her free time she enjoyed kidnapping people's children and experimenting on them. There was no doubt to that, she was probably one of those legends in this land by now. The master of poison that would sweep away your children and experiment on them if they weren't into the den by nightfall. Or something like that.

This though was uncalled for, and it gave all wolves a bad name. This Isardis...this trash... she would have found likable if he was a wolf, but he wasn't, he was a dog, a canine, something humans used as their slaves. In her book, he had no logic, no reason, no thoughts, just a whipped pup trying to throw his weight around because the true wolves wanted nothing to do with him, he even gave his bloodline a bad name. He was something that would have to be exterminated, he was just vermin upon the ground she ruled, his kind didn't even belong. Chill would teach him his place, that was a promise. It was unfortunate when other evil creatures found you existences to be distasteful.

Time he learns his place. Her thoughts echoed her dark volition as she rose from under the tree and gave Rin a look and swept her tail first down and then upward, signaling for the son of trash to follow. No wait, he was not the son of trash, he used to be, but she purged and purified him with poison and nature. Rin was hers, he was the son of death and darkness, there would be nothing better than to show up to this battle with him in toe. She would not go to this battle unprepared though, she swept into her den and gave Rin a look and then a kind smile. "Watch carefully, this is my special art and you must learn quickly."

She quickly grabbed her snails, paws rubbing in a fevered manner across their bodies as she extracted more and more of their slime only to add it to the deep pool of liquid she has be diligently collecting for months at a time. After that, she would use her right paw to making a different pool, smaller and shallow, enough for a wolf to roll into. The white female then paced around, which one to use which one to use. which one to use. This one would do!

Chill grabbed branch after branch of a bright blue berry that she was growing found of. She dragged them over to the tiny pool of slime and crushed each one, so that the juices would mix in before sticking both of her front paws in and starting the digging motion, stirring her favorite concoction. "This is called, Freeze. Do not get it mixed up with Frost, which we will be taking with us today. Freeze does exactly what its name implies, it slows the muscles to form a type of paralysis. Now do as I do."

Paws wriggled forward to the edge of the pool as she placed herself inside of the concoction and then closed her eyes and sealed her mouth before sinking down and rolling thoroughly into the mixture. She waited for what seemed to be ten minutes before she moved again, making sure she was soaked with the Freezing mixture before she arose only to flop down to make sure she covered her back, tail, legs, belly, scruff, cheeks, even parts of her muzzle. Arising again she carefully dipped her head in ears first, leaving her nose just above before walking blindly outside of her den with her eyes sealed shut, waiting patiently for the concoction to dry.

She turned her head though and opened her mouth to explain how this one would work. "Rin you let yourself sun dry with this one on, when another wolf goes to bite, their saliva will active the chemicals, you use the slugs to make it thick enough to cling to your pelt, but thin enough so you don't lose the potency of the berries juice." She explained this quickly and in clipped tones as she slowly opened her eyes and rose off of her haunches, the female shook, before stretching and going to the back of her den and slowly shoving her shoulder against a rock, pushing harder and harder as it slide to expose a little cubby hole.

"And this is Frost. It is lethal Rin, only to be used in dire circumstances...but we'll be taking it with us today as well." She looked down at the flat stone that had a clump of black ooze that stood in one giant glob almost like it was jello. Chill hunkered down, her nose hovering over it as she sniffed, it was perfect, the collection of many experiments, it was her master piece. "Now listen carefully, this one is not to be ingested at any cause, instead you bite down on the rock and coat your teeth with it. In battle keep the back of your tongue to the roof of your mouth so it doesn't slide down your throat. Try to bite heavily muscled parts on your enemy, and get this into their blood stream. Remember no bitting spots that are flaps of skin. Muscled areas only." She turned her head back towards him to drive the point home as she slowly raised to her full height.

Which wasn't a lot seeing that she was a tiny wolf, the female hunkered down, lips moving as she grabbed the stone plate by the edges so that she wouldn't touch the middle and turned toward him and flicked her tail in the follow me manner before she set off again toward the battle field.

Her pace was relentless as she made her way toward the battlegrounds, her tail twisted high behind her in dominance and her ears drawn forward. There. There where so many wolves already here, already the posturing has already began. Chill was just in time as she lowered the plate with the black gel onto the ground next to her and she followed suit, allowing it to rest in between her legs as her belly pressed against the ground. So the pink lady was Isardis? Oh wait, that was a male? Her concoction must has clouded her vision and her nostrils at that.

Chill snorted at her sense of humor and flicked an ear behind her as she called loudly behind her. "Son come here, look at this battle, Rin I want you to learn everything you can from this. Okay dear?" There was a dark mock humor in Chill's voice as she rose to her paws and stretched out her muscles as she waited for Rin to make himself know, secretly she wondered how Isardis would take this, would the canine shake in rage and attack her? Oh she hoped so, her fur had a very special surprise waiting on it just for him, and how she wanted to use Frost for the longest time.

She honestly didn't know Taurig, but she couldn't stand Isardis, there was something about mutts that didn't know their place in the morning that just didn't sit right with Chill. She would enjoy mocking him this day.

It was almost painful to see the blue man being torn apart; and yet as Satis approached at the quarters of her father, it seemed her once-brother was holding himself quite well. Isardis was not stupid, he would have been well aware of the strength Taurig withheld; but Satis could not have expected to see a blind youth standing so defensively tall. Armoured by his body guards, yes, however still somewhat impressive. And yet, he was a betrayer; and as pained as she may have been to lose a sibling, it seemed Isardis had his reasons. Exactly how? worthy Taurig was of such punishment was not her place to judge. The girl would stand with bristling hackles, defences lifted as she stood within the wake of her over-imposing King. A strange pallid loitered athwart, peculiar in her behaviour, and yet Satis wasn?t wholly convinced she was a threat; more or less she seemed to be somewhat unsound at mind. Pity. She would defend her sovereign as she saw fit, relentlessly.

Rin had been gnawing on a recently acquired bone; a result of Chill's fine hunting skills...or maybe she used poisons for this one, he wasn't sure. Either way the meat had tasted good and the bone entertaining to play with. It was then that Chill's enchanting voice had roused him from his game, and eagerly he left his bone to follow her. He was most curious about what he would learn today, and she too seemed eager to show him something. Like she was impatient to be somewhere yet at the same time wanted to be well prepared. He followed her motions, following her to into her den with his tail wagging when she smiled at him. He knew there was something up, and he was all to eager to find out.

He would stand at her side patiently, watching as she drew out snails and all sorts of different things as she began to prepare them. He watched intently, more focused then he had ever been before Translucent eyes taking in the scene as he watched her work. The female vigorously rubbing the snails for their tainted slime, wondering what she would be doing with the creatures. It all seemed so interesting, he was learning something; something that his pack certainly wasn't doing. While his father went off challenging for nothing, Rin would sit home wondering where the hell his father was. But now, he didn't need him anymore. Rin had disowned him, stripped himself of his fathers name and was now happily learning from the greatest teacher there was. And he would not turn back.

Ears of dark and white chocolate color would perk up at her words, the boy drawing close to watch as she made something called freeze. He was most curious about it, and his curiosity was satiated with the explanation. So it would paralyze the muscles? How convenient. He could render someone helpless, useless, bend them to his mercy...what were the dark thoughts? He had never had them before...Was he changing? Had he been gone for a good amount of time to have been influenced by this woman? Only time would tell for he wasn't entirely sure. He could feel the folds of his inner mentality shift, change, turning into something he wasn't before. Was he still the same Rin that he had been just a couple weeks before?

He watched as she mixed a strange goopy liquid, then placing herself within to thoroughly coat herself. The mixture sticking to her chest, stomach, legs, neck, back, head, face, everywhere. Eyes following as she finished, though he remained where he stood as he listened to her. Freeze, different then frost. Paralyzes the muscles when ingested, keep out of eyes and mouth. Mixes with specific types of berries for a poisonous effect...sun dry, saliva activates the chemicals...best remember not to groom myself after rolling in that. He had it. He stored it within the confines of his mind, the neurons in his brain ever expanding and absorbing the information. He would not forget this critical information, it would mean the result of a grisly death for his most hated enemy. In this case, it would be whoever was on Chill's bad side. She was his mentor, his new mom, his parent altogether. His father didn't care, never once had he shown his self to spend time with he and his brother Kyung. Or even to spend time with his mom! He could feel it...the hatred brewing within his mind. As if he could feel what Chill felt.

It was time for him to learn about the other dangerous poison. Frost. He listened, enthralled by the effects. It was simple enough to remember. Don't ingest. Coat your teeth. Bite the heavily muscles parts of the body. Easy. He would remember that, retain it easily within his mind to use against his enemies in the future. He stared at her, nodding to confirm that he understood what she had taught him so far. And as she got up and motion for him to follow, the frost clamped firmly in her jaws, he would hesitate before following.

Would be a good idea to coat himself like she had. He wanted to test it out, see if it really worked. And so he did as she did, lowering himself into the concoction of Freeze, thoroughly coating himself in a good amount, mouth and eyes closed firmly shut. And carefully clambered out, using his nose to scent his way towards her. He waited a bit, sitting in the sun like she had previously done. He felt the stuff dry quickly, though his body was smaller then hers so it was logical that it would. Slowly he opened his eyes, waiting for some kind of sting or blindness, anything that would tell him he had done it wrong. But it would seem he had done everything just as she had done, and with a swelling chest of bursting accomplishment he rose to his paws and followed her to the battlefield.

At last they had arrived. Rin seeing a few figures in the distance. One of them recognizable...hardly. The form of his once father. He stopped beside Chill, staring at the gathering parties. Near the albino male was a strangely colored female with the Glaciem scent, though she was a stranger to Rin for she had never once spoken to him. As was Isardis. Strangers, all of them. Never once taking the time to see or spend time with him. Then again, same went for most of the Glaciem children. It was a hard truth, a cold reality. And Rin now saw it. What did his former sire want from the cobalt male? Though he didn't know him, or any of the gathered wolves, he was curious. And heeding the words of his now mentor, he would remain by her side and watch. Not a word nor acknowledgment spoken or said to the other side. After all, they had never acknowledged him. So why should he? He would answer to Chill's words, the boy placing himself within their sights at Chill's left shoulder. "Yes Mentor."

Suddenly it would all begin to fall together; the strange woman loitering with an eerie sense of brainlessness and suddenly the tiny sibling Satis was regretful to admit to knowing so poorly. And yet? something stained his pelt, a foul and deathly odour of toxication, a mixed sense of perilous evil. What had this wench morphed the child to? A wavering suggestion of worry would crease her youthful brow, mind mulling over the likelihood of a babe turning on his father so young. Who was this wench to poison his mind? A short gaze would be cast to Isardis, who seemed to have noticed the going-ons, but remained focused upon his own tasks. And so the girl would act; moving forwards as her defences would rise alongside bristling hackles, weaving about the haunches of her father to approach the pale woman front on (Chill); standing square, imposing, as a vicious growl would escape the tenders of her throat, ?Foolish woman; as a rogue of Alacritis I force-claim you as a wolf of Glaciem. May you realise the fatality of your mistakes upon your stay.? Dare the babe attempt to fight for her rights to freedom; Satis would stand ready, perhaps unwisely confident in her ability to evade toxin.

Her arrival into her fathers kingdom in the thick of all the tension had been interesting. She had yet to mingle, meet the others, spending her time rather adjusting to the territory, and the snow, which she still held much an issue too. She knew very little about the history of this tension, only that her half-brother as he seemed to be, a son of Isardis, had betrayed loyalty to his father, and had thus been punished for it, and deserving it so. The wraith would appear, moving quietly, at the edge of the field, her violet pools on the gathering of wolves. The new scent of Glaciem clung to her coat, and she moved without fear to come close to her father. The wolves that had gathered here, she watched each one indifferently, her eyes coming to land on a pup and an ivory hued woman, and another she-wolf a marked oddity much like herself, that smelled of Glaciem. Curiosity drew her closer, her body turning to hear the words of the oddity.

Eyes cast over the pallid hued woman, who the oddity had force-claimed, and her hackles rose slightly, though she did not move forward. Her fellow pack-mate, pack-mate what a strange word, didn't need to seem her help, though if she did, the ivory woman would be at her side in an instant. Instead her attentions slipped back to the blind blue male that her father had addressed, wondering what would come of the challenge that her father had issued. What would happen? She would stand by the king, her head high as she looked at the lesser wolves, the ones who had replied to the challenge that had been issued, eyes passing over each one of them and coming to land on the blue leader, their 'king', however mocking of a term that seemed to be when it came to the disgusting ideal of a king. What kind of man disowned his own blood? She was disgusted, though her features would remain expressionless, as she would wait for an order or the scene to unfold.

Her voice was just a lull of laughter, hard laughter. Sadly enough Chill planned on this happening even if she came to this spectating sport. The female tilted her head and smiled taking no steps forward or backwards, fur was lying clean against her flesh as she crinkled her muzzle in delight. What did we have here? A pup that thought that she had enough brains to challenge Chill? Your reputation proceeds you, even then birds sung of what suspicious shits you where. So dear Chill would understand.

"I deny your force claim child, we are wolves not horses." She smoothly explained as she placed one paw slightly forward and her weight shifted. If the youngster in front of her head any common sense she would know they where both coated in that same dangerous poison, and that its properties where something nasty. Chill thought would bait this female into attacking her, because that poison on her fur was crafted to paralyze whoever ingested it. Then where was the case of the poison at her paws, that was a whole new type of lethal game she wanted to play.

And lethal games where a poison master's speciality, and Chill's name should have gotten around town by now. Hell the bears knew her, cougars, panthers, birds, rabbits, and wolves, all knew of the poison mistress who lived in the north. Her lips peeled casually back in a savage smile, growling working its way up her throat, she had so many tricks up her sleeve today, which one would she use? "And you won't be taking my apprentice...my adopted son either." Or you'll find yourself a painful death here today. Her thoughts echoed in her mind, just one bite from Chill would kill, just one.

"You will not touch her, because she belongs to me." Venomous lyrics would be followed by a thunderous snarl as the man would slither onto the scene. He had a feeling this white dame would get herself into trouble, and of course, she had picked glaciem to start with. Ears pinned tightly against his skull as his lips curled above his striking fangs, saliva dripping from the ends of his canines. Ghostly gaze set upon the woman who was attempting to claim his lady, eyes narrowing as his muscles tensed impatiently beneath his pelt. He was already prepared to fight her.

His mind would flash back to the battlefield, reminiscing the moment he had saved the Glaciem bitch from the horse despite their broken ties. He made a bold decision deciding to assist her that day, and she had her king to blame for that. If it wasn't for his good heart, she would have been trampled beneath enemy hooves and her father would have had to shovel up the mess. "If you chose to fight, and she does not win her freedom, I will make sure your victory is short lived." Not necessarily a threat, but a warning. If she wanted her she would have to challenge for her, and even if Chill did not win, Kusugra would make her regret she even considered it. He was used to maiming mutts for pleasure, how much would he love it when important matters were on the line?

Oh it was a sight to behold, Taurig nestled against the protective arms of three lowly men; one of which was recognizable as the fool Argent had successfully blinded. Rubies rested upon the milky glare of his visionless enemy, stomach fluttering with a half-hearted realisation at the damage he had so successfully dealt. Taurig had done well to survive the wounds, and yet Isardis wasn?t quite done just yet. His rage would fuel beneath his core, simmering with a vicious desire to destroy Taurig?s emotion, to pry his lover from beneath his grasp no different than the sightless fool had done so to him. And yet as he would speak, words of attempted truth, Isardis? mind would begin to churn with a bubbling psychosis of twisted amusement.

A state of emotional despair, tarnished with the loss of his adore; and yet in that moment The King would begin to burst at the seams, a rolling tide of eager chuckling sounding his amusement upon the matter. If Taurig believed he hadn?t been looking, he was only more imprudent. He would sway lightly, cherry lips scathed with the smirks of his creasing pleasure, ?And yet the last she was seen she had strayed your borders.? He shook his head weakly, impressed with the child?s foolishness. He didn?t believe a word he spoke, but that was no surprise. A coral paw would reach forth with a seamless ease of imposing suggestion, ?And what of her season, hm? Perhaps you were also the cause of her wombs poor memory.? The sudden admittance to the possibility made his stomach curl beneath broad ribs.

Something stirred around them, something sinister with the faulting of unworthy rules. His son stood by the side of a dame, and yet Isardis had to re-focus; his fear for the situation being pushed aside as Satis would seem to address the issue open-handedly. He would straighten himself upon four pillars, breast inflating as skull would rise, ?I challenge you for the one known as Maija; should your memory come back to you and you have information worth my time, you shall achieve the rights to your Golden Mistress. Sounds fair, no?? He would resist a gliding chuckle, defences heightening; toes splaying as his balance would equalize alongside bristled hackles, ?Who is to answer me?? The possibility of deffeat was still as potent as ever, and yet Isardis wouldn't a spare a moment to it's awareness.

Isardis vs. Taurig? ? Round 0 of ??

For Maija

She had heard the call loud and clear. It echoed dangerously in her head. Yet the young Queen lingered behind, knowing her brother would be upset by her presence. But she could wait no more. Limbs carried her effortlessly to the battlefield. The stench of blood becoming more and more potent. It didn't take long for a small to crowd to enter her line of vision. Immediately her defenses would fall into place, lips curling back in a silent snarl.

She would approach just in time to catch her fathers little speech. He come to claim Maija. Immediately a growl would rise in her throat, announcing her arrival. The young Queen would push through the crown, giving light nudges to the men until she stood at her brothers side. Hackles had long risen, eyes narrowed with an undying hater. Her tongue rolled against the roof of her mouth. Immediately her brother began to speak.

Dark amusement would glitter in her eyes, fury rolling off her in waves. She felt her brothers warmth brush against her as he turned, preparing to exit. Her father would lose. His time wasted. He had wasted her time. Verdant gaze would rake over the ivory man before she turned and followed her brother, sticking close to his side.

He was already done listening. He wanted nothing to do with the pink parasite and it didn't matter what he came here for. Argent wasn't with him and he didn't know where she had gone to and frankly he didn't care anymore. Argent never loved him like she claimed she did and she only brought disaster to his door step. Whatever he had felt for the silver wench was gone. Dead. Eradicated. He could care less if she were alive or dead, with his children or not. If his children sought him out he would not deny them, but he would not seek them. His massive frame would stop at his mid turn, skull raising as rage coiled inside of him. He would not take Maija from him. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not ever. He would feel someone come up beside, her familiar scent flooding his nostrils; Sibelle. He hadn't wanted his sister to come along with him, but who was he to stop her? Since the previous challenge she had stuck to him like glue and although he preferred her back in the safety of their home, he was glad to see that she truly cared about him.

Obviously if she had come to my borders, it was because she was looking for something that she wasn't getting at home. Perhaps if you look hard enough, you might be in time to meet your grand children. That is, if she still lives. And with that Taurig would complete the full circle as he turned to move back in the direction he came, his men following his exact movements, their circle of protection tight, brushing against his sister's shoulder as he silently urged her to follow him. He was done. There was no challenge that he would participate in. They could not force him to fight and they could not take Maija from him. He would waste his time with this parasite no longer, no matter if he called for him again. He would not be in the presence of this disease ever again.

A cat had never been welcomed presence, and yet moments after the pale woman?s brainless declaration, a familiar face would saunter free of his hiding. Kusugra, the beast who had aided the defeat of Valhalla?s equine. She hesitated warily, unsure what to make of the situation; for now deciding to ignore the pale wench the feline had staked his claim upon. ?Your threats are empty, Kusugra,? the oddities eyes would narrow, golden gaze swirling with a suggestion of displeasure, ?Your pet leaves with you immediately, and the boy stays behind. Otherwise I am willing to see you both to a challenge of strength,? her words withheld a void, an almost dull suggestion of watered emotion. No umbrage was evident; no bristling sentiment, only a woman of chaste and defence.

Chill regarded the pup the way she would regard a bug, insufficient and pathetic, something to be stomped on and squished with time. She should death match the child here for even daring to speak? Should she then proceed to death match that blood line in its entirety? Decimation was always a pretty thing to deal with, and as Chill looked around she was certain that others would be more than willing to help decimate this particular bloodline. Time to take out the trash before it bred and filled the world with filth.

Brace the storm. Chill curled her lips back in general distaste, this girl was treading on dangerous soil, she would poison her before she could do any damage that would hinder the rest of her performance in battle. Satis nose should have told her that much, so her threats where left with another purr as she rolled her shoulders back and laughed. "Here's the funny thing, he's been with me for weeks, if you cared in the least you would have tried to find him sooner. He left your pack, you have no claim on him, he's mine now." Chill's words where cold and clipped as she stepped forward, her tail swinging behind her but a blur of black flesh caught her attention. "And seeing that he wasn't a prisoner he was able to leave of his own free will. Rouge just like I, he is. And since I belong to Kus, and Rin belongs to me, he is also apart of our family." Stupid dog. Her thoughts echoed, she had to say, warriors were not clever at all, instead they did a lot of barking and not enough thinking. Go kill yourself. Jump off a cliff. Go poke a bear. Go play in the middle of a road. Chill didn't particular care. Just die.

But something flash into the edges of her vision. Eyes snapped over to the form and she noticed the figure of the black panther, her lips relaxed as she flicked her ears toward him as he laid his claim down to the younger female. Chill wanted to laugh in delight, she hasn't been happier to see this particular cat in her all her life. The battlefield just became level, emotions swirled in front of her, fondness was the first one and it shined the brightest. Was this what it was like to be in a family unit? Blah. They where the mafia, poison masters, gun totting warriors of this land.

And they, Glaciem was nothing, a crumbling pack made up of nothing but pups and a few others. "Oh, you can't get members so you try to get them on battlefields?" She mused at the other female, her tongue was sharp as she moved between Satis and Rin, her answer was very clear. Seeing that Satis just came of age to breed, and just reached sexual maturity, Chill was almost positive that realistically she would win this spat with the younger female.

Unless someone else stepped in to separate the two females, it would turn into a nasty maiming fight on Chill's part. She wanted to mark the other female as a fair warning what would happen when anyone decided to cross her. Lips would curl upward again, a growl vibrating her vocal cords, what type of maiming would she go for? She knew for sure if she won this she would shove a herb down her throat to make her infertile, then she would blind the female, for one that knew so little of the world did not deserve to look upon it. What would be next? Ears? One that listened so reverently to the bullshit of their father didn't deserve to hear the words of better wolves. After that? Her tongue, simply because her voice reminded her of her stool, shit, no one needed to hear it, so lets remove it all together. Torture would be divine.

The thing was, would the boss want her fighting here? But her eyes drifted to the pack that was present that was also leaving the battlefield. That seemed like a good idea, that moment when people didn't acknowledge your existence and left was like rubbing salt in a prideful wolfs wounds. And since Satis couldn't drag them off because of the poisons that coated their fur, Chill chuckled sadistically before she turned her head toward Kus, a small flicker of fondness in her eyes before she looked toward Rin. "Come along apprentice, since your ties have been broken when you disowned Isardis they cannot force you anywhere. Let us return to our den, seeing as there much you have to learn."

With that Chill stepped forward, rubbing her head against Kus's flank in an thankful manner before turned away, and nudged Rin to move in front of her as well, though she secretly wanted to let them grab Rin so they could ingest the poison and make maiming her five times easier than it should have been. Then on the flip side, Chill didn't want the pup harmed, she in her weeks spent with him grew fond of him, if she cared much for family ties she would have death matched Satis and Isardis for even existing as a threat to her adopted son. All creatures knew what would happen if Chill let Rin return to that pack, that thought made her pause, her ears turning back behind her as she stood flank to flank with Kus. Whispering so only he could hear what she was saying she stated, "Kusugra I'm not letting them have him. They are the trash upon this land, and we should...get rid of them."

The small white female finished her comment with a simmer of anger laying under her words, hatred was a natural emotion for Chill. Generally dislike for that bloodline was simmering as her paws moved forward and she nudged Rin again, they would also be leaving now as well, leaving the trash standing there in the cold with no answer to their questions. Tauriq walking off, his pack mates walking off, Chill walking off, nudging Rin with her, Kus she didn't know what he was going to do. But the fact everyone just made Glaciem's bitching invalided was...funny in the sense of the word to Chill.

So the white female moved on, following suit with the defending party and just leaving. Could not take, that which would not come.

-Chill and Rin exit.- (Exiting Rin with the permission of the Rper.)

[[OOC: Rin isn't apart of Glaciem since he was kidnapped/agreed to join Chill and disowned Isardis and his pack during that thread, making him a loner. Since he wasn't a prisoner there's nothing really stopping him from leaving. Your challenge should be a claim one, and if you would like I will start first in another thread. Just let me know.]]

NOTICE TO CHILL, RINCAVORNON

As is a long standing rule on Alacritis, no Wolf can leave a pack without permission from the Alpha, regardless of their rank. Rincavornon remains a Glaciem wolf until his freedom is fought for.

As Chill is a rogue and this thread takes part on The Battlefield, she can not deny a force claim without winning a challenge for her freedom. Unless the claim is withdrawn, Chill is a Glaciem wolf until release/challenge.

THESE ARE ALACRITIS RULES AND THIS STATEMENT HAS BEEN BACKED UP MY AN ADMIN. IF YOU HAVE ANY INQUIRIES PLEASE TALK TO VIVIEN. THANK YOU.

He watched with quiet amusement as the ones who had come to be challenged began to depart the scene. Was this what his former sire did all the time? Challenge for broken pride? It seemed as such. He had heard about his once queen disappearing, and surely there was a reason for that. He must have not been as great as everyone else in the pack made him out to be. Perhaps he wasn't worth following after all. So he had made the right choice then, following Chill and soon Kusugra. The big cat was powerful, easily able to take down a couple wolves. After all, he was more flexible, claws sharper and longer, fangs bigger and more powerful. Easily able to inflict horrendous damage, especially on younger wolves. Would the strangely colored woman really risk her life for something to insignificant? Rin had no plans on returning. And it was clear when he allowed Chill to lead him away.

His father had never bothered to try, and even now if his father would take the time to understand and talk to Rin. Then perhaps Rin might change his mind, but at this rate...he would not. Words were more often powerful then force, and Rin simply would not take to it. If his father always claimed to care so much then he wouldn't have lost some of his prized family members to begin with. And Rin was not blind or deaf to the stories of half the Armada line keeping well away from him.

Casting a translucent glare of indifference towards the strangely colored, well, stranger to him. He kept a calm facade. For one so young, he sure knew a lot. But he was learning from the best, and there was nothing that would change about that. And he certainly wouldn't listen to the words of a stranger he hardly knew. That woman was apparently family, but even she had never bothered to acknowledge him as such in the pack. So why the hell did they care? He wasn't going to be forced anywhere, and that was that. And if they wanted to try, then they were welcome to...if they wanted to risk their lives of course. He had done the same as Chill. Coated himself in the same dangerous poison that would cause lethal damage. He was no idiot, he had learned from the best.

He simply watched the scene unfold, Chill putting herself between he and them. And Rin would move out of sight, just between her and Kusugra. If Chill was his, and he was hers. Then nothing would break that. Kusugra would protect his property, and as far as he heard, Chill was part of his property and Rin hers. Such a strange cycle the world was in...but alas, he would accept that part of it. And so after hearing his mentors words towards the beast ahead of him, he would allow her to nudge him away. Rin following obediently and never looking back. He had chosen to disown that part of his life, and although he would forever remain loyal to his mother and his two favorite siblings, he would turn his back on the rest. They simply didn't deserve anything he had to offer, his skills, his loyalty, his strength in the future.

-Exit Rin with Chill-

OOC// Ahem, my OOC post was not rude in anyway. I simply stated for Yumpy to PM me if there were any problems. Again, I am staying true to my character. I kindly asked her to pm me in a polite manner. I would do the same so it's only courtesy. I am not trying to start anything in any way. If this is also considered rude for stating an honest piece then please, by all means PM me and /talk/ to me and let me know what exactly is considered rude. In all fairness, asking for someone to pm you about a problem/misunderstanding is not rude.

Default to ISARDIS

Due to Taurig leaving the thread after the challenge and not posting in the allotted time, Isardis is the winner, and Maija is now property of Glaciem. She may not be challenged for for 2 OOC weeks.
