Fucking Winter, The pallid goddess cursed as she moved through the land. The chill of the winter, bit into her fur, the breeze buffeting against her. Curses spewed from her maw in low hushed tones, as she looked around her, annoyance evident in her stance and words. The few days she had spent here had helped her grow accustomed too the cool air, and bitter winter weather. She was too good for this, bred to fine to be out in weather this disgusting. Royalty, that's what she was. At the edge of the strange spectral she had found she wound herself around a lone tree, her pallid coat brushing against the rough tree bark. Drawing herself into a sitting position she stared out, watching the sun set in the land.

The orange, purple, red, and gold hues danced across the snow, causing a scene that was a sight to behold. A sigh left her, as she felt her mind wandering, relaxed for the moment. Her journey here had been difficult, at best, but she had made it here and in one piece. Now she just needed to find her father, the man she had heard her mother speak of. He was her shot of living the life of royalty that she so deserved. A discontented sigh left her, as she glanced around lazily. This loner life wasn't suiting her, nope, not suiting her at all.

Each passing day, Virgil felt stronger. Her brush with illness had been severe, and yet it only served to prove that she was strong enough, that she could handle anything. The gods were her ancestors, after all, and they had blessed her with the strength her mother lacked. Alas, here in these lands, she felt strangely disconnected from them. It was disconcerting to be departed from one's religion, to feel truly alone when previously there had been gods watching over her.

Perhaps she had angered her deities somehow. Maybe she'd taken too long, maybe her current level of strength was not pleasing. Maybe she needed to get stronger faster, to take a pack for her family sooner.

She departed Amenti with full intention of seeking prayer, legs carrying her dutifully into the Northern abyss. The landscape of white, however, was interrupted by a pair of bright violet eyes and colorful markings. Pausing, the earthy-toned woman noticed the stranger, not hesitating before she approached the stranger. Part of her duty as a matriarch, after all, was to make allies and discover information. "Admiring the sunset?" she asked, attempting to control her shivers. It would not do to be weak in this situation.

Her evening would be interrupted by a woman, and her violet optics would turn, her gaze capturing the intruder, with the swift movement of her head. Staring at the other, she listened to her words, her head tilting slightly, before she would speak. "Perhaps." Her reply would be simple, a quick rebuttle, as she would observe the other she-wolf. Earthy tones, quite the contrast to her ivory hue, would be the color of choice for this dame, and her violet eyes came to rest on the dames face, wondering what the other dame saw when she looked at her.

"I can't say that I like this weather, very much. You don't seem that accustomed either."

Her words were an observation, neither accompanied by a frown or a smile, just cooled spouted. "Who are you?" She would demand, expecting a reply, a title to call this stranger. "What is this land?" The dame before her was lucky, in a way, she would hear many words from the sullen queen, as she cast a disdainful look around the land. "I am not accustomed to such a cold climate. No matter, I will adjust with time."
