She was thankful that Raven and Ryouta didn't seem to mind if she slipped away for a little while, provided she eventually returned. So far, fear of punishment had kept her close, but eventually, she became bold again, resuming her exploration of the northern regions. Today's excursion had taken her to these drowned woods, where she gaped at the frozen trees with their ghostly-white trunks and pale leaves, looming out of the ice under her feet. She walked carefully, aware that the ice was totally frozen, yet wary all the same. Since her near-death experience at the Col, she was nervous in the mountains.
And yet she was glad she came, this was a sight well worth seeing. Like something from another world. Even with the lightly-falling snow and frigid ice under her paws chilling her to the bone, she was transfixed, walking among the preserved trees as if in a dream. She felt conspicuous and out-of-place here among the dead trees and unliving stone, one single speck of warmth in the cold, unforgiving mountains. "Speech"
