In truth the male was simply bidding his time. It would be a short lived thing, he felt, that his time was drawing near. All he had to do was be patient. In the meanwhile he had been doing a great bit of traveling. Seeing those of Alacritia... attempting to gain allies. The huge, lumbering male sought what he had abandoned. But it was not simply out of lack of care, or shirking his duty. No... the sad fact was Kau walked away from his kingdom to protect one he loved. Losing Avion had crushed the massive male's heart. It broke him on a deeper level, a fracture to the core. Not that Kau was ever overly loving, but it would take one to be blind and deaf to not see how much the Kedieo male cared for his former, small mate.

A sigh would leave Kau, ears pinned back against his head. His demons would come to haunt him. They whispered dark words of their deeds in his ears, in his heart. Avion's memory haunted him. Tearing at what remained of his sanity. His mate had been perfect. Beautiful. His. No one could have him.. and then... Kau let out a frustrated growl. Kau would narrow his good eye, glaring into the sky. Fur would stand on end, and in the air lightning would crack. "What is it you all want!? Am I not doing a good enough job for you?! This is what you made me!" Was he shouting at the gods? Ghosts from his past? The wind would pick up a bit, thunder booming in the sky. A storm was about to be let loose on this earth.

the baneful beast lay cradled inside a hollowed out tree, felled by the mighty odin in his tiresome rage no doubt. the stiffening corpse of his veridae feirna covered him, hiding his abstract body from the neutral colors of his surroundings. it was dreadfully peaceful like this, birds whispering amoungst each other and squirrels going batshit crazy over their winter harvest. he hadn't minded at first, being swooned by multiple women upon his arrival, but now fending off the thirsty whores seemed more like a job than sport.



he would have been more than content to drift off into slumber, willingly opening his mind to the gods, had it not been for the other man's angered demanding. jaeger's alabaster ears swiveled from their alert positioning to rest against his skull, dual-colored eyes widening in slight disbelief. and just as he thought it, the gods commanded it. he could feel the thundrous roaring of thor beneath his malnourished body. he pushed his modest head through the space between fierna's neck and foreleg, peering surprisingly at the faintly similarly hued male. "well you've angered them now, haven't you friend?"
