He came from the forests and the waters and everything that fell between Amenti and Seracia. He had meant to come days ago but alas, his wounds were still healing, and travel would not have been a particularly good choice. the boy stood on the borders of Seracia and issued a firm summons. Epiphron and Maverick would not be pleased to hear the outcome, but it was an outcome no less and syrinx had every intention of making sure that it was known. He would, of course, gain back the lost allies--for while he was no mercenary he was still a man of his word regardless of how harsh that word often came across. Vocals fell into a lulled echo until they stopped and until he stood.. waiting.

Epiphron Adravendi-Mathias was not at all impressed, and yet hate -- even dislike -- was not something she would ever feel toward her dearest brother. As his call rang out across her territory, immediately she would jolt to attention and spring to all fours, heading toward him. Rumors had been spreading of the fates of the three warriors, and whatever they truly were, Epiphron was displeased. They were not home, and their families were worried sick. She could not handle the sad little eyes of Silent and Bronze's children as they moped about, for she had no true information to tell the family; nor did know a thing about Themisto or Pontifex.

As Syrinx drew near, the normal expression of joy at meeting him was held carefully at bay. Instead her expression was perfectly level, and she came to rest a few feet from him. Sapphire blue gaze fixated upon him, and she issued a command to her kin, something she was certain few would be brave enough to ever do. "Explain yourself."

He stood waiting and wondering who would come first, and it was true enough for the heathen to admit he had not expected it t be Epiphron, but alas, it was last time. Where was Seracia's great king that the queen ended up dealing with all the affairs? Shrugging his shoulders and remaining standing where he was the behemoth's eyes fell on Epiphron's body as she made her way towards him. His gaze softened in appearance for a mere moment -merely a falter of character- and he resumed and upheld his previous chapter by thrusting his ears back against his head as her mildly jaded words erupted...well, "Calm your tits, pippy," he rumbled quietly, and partially playfully, before continuing he lowered his head to her a bit, "They all were challenged for and most of them fought the battle for the other. When one lost...one fell and they all were claimed in one general sweep. I was no more pleased than you," He wanted to point out that had they been better warriors they might not have lost...but he wasn't going to make an ass out of himself when he was already so good at doing that when less important matters did not ache to be tended to, "I'll get 'em back. Didn't ya hear? Stud muffin -yes me- is the king of Amenti now. I plan on excersizing my force...after all know it's my devilish side that tends to win,"
"Speech!".

Her instinct was to embrace him, even if he did not respond as favorable as a normal man ought to upon being reunited with his sister. But she contained herself and watched him with a guarded expression. Her heart had been plagued by anxiety and worry lately, and all she wanted to do was grab him by the scruff and let him know just how frustrating it at was. She had expected to hear from someone, anyone at all, much sooner than this.

But Epiphron's facade of anger faltered slightly, despite its authenticity, as he spoke. She knew that Syrinx had done all he could to protect them; her brother was a man of questionable intentions, but he would never hurt her. There was almost nothing she was more certain of in the entire world, except perhaps her own husband's devotion to her. "I am glad you decided to exercise your power before coming to console your pregnant sister," she snapped quickly, though her entire stance had relaxed slightly. She was bitter, yes, but her words held an air of playfulness to them that would easily be overlooked by someone who did not know her as well as Syrinx did. "But thank you for coming now. I'm happy to see you weren't claimed by whoever is ruling that godforsaken pack." She knew little about him, but he seemed to have a knack for claiming wolves like they were trinkets of sorts -- but she hadn't expected Syrinx to lose a fight. "Though if I didn't know better I'd think you as greedy as he is for claiming another pack." Her eyes would roll a bit, though she knew that the Adravendi children had never been destined for anything less than power and prestigious, if they so chose to embrace it.

Maybe he had a lot to learn. Correction; he did have a lot to learn and he was more than well aware of that very fact. Still, it didn't seem to really click in his head that he needed to change the way people looked at him. He wanted to be revered and feared at the same time he wanted it to be for good intention. He wanted to be a positive and upbeat scary ass bitch. That was probably the best way to explain it all--it was hard and he knew that there would be controversy to his alignment. But--if queried he would likely, simply, answer, 'The Adravendi.' for they were his blood and his entire life fell into their paws. he was their martyr and, as the title had not been challenged for, their patriarch--regardless of the fact he had not been particularly active in this role.

"You're pregnant again? Poor Chrysanthe hasn't even gotten one measly whelp out of Gideon. What's the deal with that? Though...if you're pregnant I think I should probably knock a bitch up...can't let my little sister beat me," the words were strictly playful as he tried to make jest out of what was happening--though sorely he knew it wasn't going to be done exactly the way that he meant for it to. Still--he had his hopes and his thoughts and perhaps Epiphron would see past his dark humor to something that was actually mildly entertaining. "I can't be claimed. Isardis would rather see me flaunting as a rogue than impressing all of his little imps. I'm irresistible you know?" Her words were spat at him and he only offered her a half simper, "Ah--my sweet I've not ruled one pack by my lonesome yet. This is only the beginning," and truthfully he couldn't wait to see what those who had faith in him were truly capable of doing with his guidance.

Epiphron couldn't help but feel grateful for her brother's presence. To many, he was foul and corrupt -- and although she knew his intentions could be misguided, he was loyal and would never betray her or the Adravendi name. She would stand by him for eternity, and she knew that, despite whatever choices her brother might make. Syrinx did not offend or intimidate her; he never would.

"Perhaps he is not as manly as he thinks he is," she laughed, the sound light but piercing all the same. She was not the biggest fan of her sister's husband, and yet she barely knew him, but the teasing was harmless albeit laced with an air of dislike that she would only share with her brother. "Do you have any women in mind?" Epiphron would question, leaning to nudge her brother's cheek lightly. It seemed Eos was not around currently, but she didn't question it. Her other sister seemed to have no sense of allegiance to the family, even to Syrinx ... she wondered how her nieces and nephews would fare, growing up without their mother's constant presence. She could not imagine. "Let me know when you do. I think it would be best for our children to spend some more time together, don't you think?" They had royalty and power flowing through their veins, and Epiphron knew all too well that if they grew closer, the children would realize how much they could all accomplish together.

This was a change for Syrinx -- ruling by himself. She didn't doubt he would make a great ruler, albeit a controversial one. "Perhaps I can visit you soon, if you will allow it," she teased with a smirk. It would certainly be entertaining to see how he preferred to run things. "But please -- I beg of you -- get me Bronze and Themisto back. We simply don't have the warriors to fight for them. I don't care if it's one of your new minions, or you, but please." It was a mixture of a plea and a command, but mostly she needed a favor from him before she completely lost it here worrying about them and wondering how she could make everything go back to normal.

OOC:Woah woah woah man where did I learn to actually write?

There was more to consider than what simply met the eye. For example, Syrinx knew that with a motherly presence perhaps his children would have turned out more loyal--but all they knew was that it was okay to flee. That was not to speak for all of them of course, though Vyvienne for example, Syrinx firmly placed the lack of a mother in her life as to the reasoning for her so gluttonously clinging to anything she could gather. She was a strong-willed girl, but her intentions were to please herself (which was much like Syrinx) but, she lacked cause other than that simple thing. Could he condemn her for such behavior when it partially and rightfully fell onto his own shoulders? Perhaps, it would be wrong to do so--but Syrinx would try to make sense of the thoughts bombarding him. Epiphron would not want her children to be influenced by his own. But--he did not say this. Nor; would he.

"Perhaps not....Does our sister even want children with everything as Choatic as it is? Perhaps a pregnancy by her would be a curse versus a gift...still I believe if she had the task of children to occupy herself with she would be happier," and it was the first time he had wondered what his children would have been like had he allowed Chrysanthe a more vital role in their life. If they had her growing up chances are they would have been smarter--and though he would have still sought to train them strength wise; they would be more applicable to society than they were now. Was that what he hungered for for them? He was still unclear as to what he was thinking, but regardless the consideration was there. If he had another litter he would not hesitate to give each of the children to Chrysanthe--to ask her to raise them. Though, he had to wonder if he was serious. Perhaps if they lacked a mother he would do this and dutifully.

"I don't think adoration...nor love...is something that was ever meant to be constant for me, Pip...I think I'll be done with that entire area," It was a bold claim, but it was fair. If he had whelps he doubted they would be found in love. Perhaps that meant there would be more spawn from him than any other Adravendi should he pick up speed and actual desire; though, to be perfectly honest, he did not thirst for sexual cravings like most. His was entirely indifferent.

Finally, she brought up his empire and he rolled his shoulders, "It's a militant group. That's what I want...A family isn't always the best thing. If I'm to protect Valhalla-an even Seracia, for you, then a military is what is needed here," Syrinx turned his eyes to the side at the mention of Themisto and Bronze. He wanted to wrinkle his nose and say that they were the ones who got themselves into the situation they were in. That was the first thing that came to mind, but when he opened his mouth to speak he found himself falling silent again. How could he say that to her? She was relying on him...,"For you," and only you. it was his archaic behavior being tamed (in a sense). For Syrinx believed in standing on ones' own feet, but it was evident his sister craved his help...and afterall no debt was to be left unpaid by the Adravendi.

It did not matter to her the alignments of Syrinx's children. While she thought that Eos might not be the best influence on her children, she could not pass judgment on her nieces and nephews that she had yet to meet. She could see nothing but good coming from the combined power of the Adravendis, even if it might not be what most wolves thought of as 'good.' Though Epiphron was not outwardly corrupt or cruel, to judge her as a saint would be grossly misguided; she was inclined to be selfish at times, and regarded her family with much importance. She would do grave things to protect her kin, even Syrinx's children, though she knew not of the darkness that had begun to find its way into their small little hearts.

"Children do bring joy, even to you, I can see it." Epiphron teased him with laughter in her voice, a smirk playing on that lovely face of hers. Chrysanthe seemed the most fit to be a mother out of all of the siblings, and yet she would be the last to bear children; or perhaps, like she had implied, Gideon was simply infertile. What a sick, albeit hilarious joke that would be.

Syrinx's admittance was not at all surprising, and she would snort in a brief bout of laughter. "Maybe you were meant for things beyond such worldly physical pleasures," she suggested with a gentle shrug. He had never been a man of affection, nor one of much compassion, but that didn't stop her from giving it to him, perhaps selfishly wanting to feel that brotherly warmth that seemed to soothe her soul so consistently. And so she did, slipping forward to press her cheek into his own again, unphased by feeling of cold bone against her warmer flesh. He was a constant in her life, even with his habit of changing territories each season, even with hardly seeing him as much as she would've liked to. His pack sounded exactly as expected to her, a militant group, a strict pack that would protect and defend one another. It would perhaps be a bit more darkly aligned than she preferred, but it went without saying that she didn't judge the characters he surrounded himself with so long as they were no threat to the Adravendi name. And he seemed willing to help her, even if he would do so begrudgingly, but there seemed to be an unspoken rule between the siblings that they would assist one another whenever possible. And now was no exception.

"Then I expect nothing more than greatness from you, my brother. Shall I see an empire as great as Valhalla once was the next time I come to visit you?" Things had changed in their allied pack, and she wouldn't lie that the pack had once been much stronger -- and she knew Syrinx would settle for no less than greatness.

It was hard to make a sister see what even he was unsure was so easily before him. So, he could not see himself growing perturbed when there was nothing for him to show animosity towards. Pip was merely being herself and doing her damndest to offer him a reasonable explanation for...everything. He cracked her a rare smirk, though this one was happier and more enjoyable. Akin to a smile--something next to unheard of when speaking of the Amenti Arkhos. The imperator was hard, but he was not directly resentful of emotion.

"Perhaps I am. I thought I loved Eos," Perhaps it would be odd for Epiphron to hear that he not only loved his sibling, but had been in love with her. Epiphron would likely find it strange, but Syrinx had not found it in himself to notice the oddity that came with the very statement. He loved his sister, but his affection for the odd one had been completely taboo. Something most had not even heard of.

"When Amenti is large enough I'll recover your warriors for you. If they've not fought for their own freedom. I assure you, a way will be found," with that the Adravendi slowly backed up and watched her, "...Uh...Can I come see your kids when they are born?" he wanted to have more of a role in the life of this litter, as he had miserably failed her first. In his mind, it was too late, but regardless a humorous smile overtook his features and he offered her what he could, "If you ever need me to whip any of the kiddos into a fine-ass shape, like me, send 'em on over," And then--with all the swag the king had. He left her.
