The young girl would bounce gracefully through the mangrove roots, her white coat making a stark contrast to the dark bark. The evening was beginning to fall on Ludicael and the young she pup was busy chasing the bugs that were finding their way into the air. She was reminded of when Canta had shown her the bug rolled up onto her tongue and she was careful not to ingest any of the tiny beings. Most of them tasted quite gross, so she refrained from tasting them. Instead she would enjoy herself by simply using her paws to catch them.
As her pads became sticky with their guts she would finally cease her massacre, the sun was beginning to disappear and she was quite ready to cuddle up with her family. She didn't feel extremely tired, but the chill of the night began to creep upon her. Short ivory legs would carry her back to where she knew her den was, but she still had quite a walk to go.

It was a lovely day, and Anthem was content. Slowly the sun would set, casting beautiful colors all over the lands, as well as eerie shadows that made him continuously turn around and look over his shoulder, feeling as though he was being followed. But his search for whatever eyes seemed to be peering at him from the distance went without any results, and so he would happily continued onward. Quite a sight, he was -- a rather average sized man, prancing about in the fallen leaves and dried grasses, with fur as white as snow, dappled only light with darker grey fur around his head and back.

It wasn't long before a familiar scent reached his nose. With a smile on his face he would continue forward, navigating through the terrain that was slowly becoming familiar to him. He grinned when Novel came into view. One of Song's babies! A happy bark left his lips, his attitude lightening considerably as he loped forward. Truthfully he didn't even know her name, so limited was his memory, and yet it went without saying that she was a Destruction through and through, one of Song's babies. Hi!" He called out, handsome face enveloped by a huge grin.

Novel's retreat was not going to be spent alone. The form of her uncle would come bounding into view, the biggest of smiles painted happily across his sweet face. She would giggle as his greeting reached her ears, a simple 'hi' was all he needed, it was obvious he was excited to see her. That excitement spread through her like wildfire as her little paws brought her the final distance between them. Her own maw would erupt into a grin as her ivory tail wagged quickly behind her. "Hi, uncle Anthem!" She would squeal as her muzzle was reunited with his own, a nuzzle of affection was placed in his keeping.
She would lean against him happily, her gaze intent upon his own. As she looked deeper into his dandelion eyes she grew a bit frightened, there was something missing. His eyes looked like any other wolf's would, but they seemed so much... duller. Is something wrong with uncle Anthem? the thought would cross her mind silently as her curiosity overcame her fear. He was too much fun to be broken, he was just more special. She would snuggle him again wordlessly as she enjoyed their moment of an embrace. "Wanna walk to the den with me?" Her words bubbled forth.

If it wasn't for his loving family, he would've died soon after birth. Anthem Destruction was incapable of even feeding himself -- he was more likely to get eaten by a rabbit than to be the one doing the eating. His parents had tried to teach him to hunt, but soon realized it was a lost cause. Without them, he would've never made it this far. But he was blissfully unaware, often frustratingly ignorant of everything about himself. He was lucky that he hadn't faced outright disgust at who he was and how he acted, but it would certainly come at some point in his life.

It wasn't at all alarming that he didn't know this little girl's name. He had met her, and knew that she was one of Song's babies. It seemed to him like Novel was a little sister, but she called him 'Uncle,' and he would smile happily, content with the name even though he did not understand it.

"What your name?" He questioned rather suddenly, obvious to the fact that the inquiry might seem rude or too forward. The girl knew his name, but he didn't recall hers. Anthem's smile grew infinitely as she pressed into him, tail waving with little to no inhibition behind him. 'kay!" He accepted her offer without complaint, following in the direction she had been headed.
