These Violent delights

Midnight shook her coat storm clouds hid the sun and the rain was falling steadily. She had found herself on the battlefields, it seemed to stretch on forever, and her paws moved carefully over the pounded surface made slippery by the rain. Hee black coat stood out against the pale dirt and sand a shadow slipping through this world of hatred and blood, golden eyes searched the ground before her avoiding all but the shallowest depressions as they filled with rain water.

She was going to battle, had left her home with the rouges moving towards Valhalla, but first she wanted to test herself, it had been years since she had fought another wolf her skills though she was certain they where still there had not been tried since before she joined glaciem. Carefully she scanned around her until she found an area of level ground, this was the place, she walked over the patch once, twice, three times looking for pot holes and such then sat at the centre.

For a moment she paused watching two wolves engaged in a dominance fight, tooth and claw flew in archs piecing and tearing skin as the blood trailed in ribbons from the wounds, turning her gaze away from the two rivals, they would fight their fight and so would she, she regained her feet digging her claw into the mud she lifted her head and opened her maw releasing a cry over the field. The call she gave was harsh but got the message across, she was ready to fight, 'come take me if your hard enough,' she thought a small smile crossing her face.
