He had fled, like a coward....but now he was free. He walked proudly with his head up high. An unsettling smirk lay on his maw as he walked along on his way home. To him, now home was wherever Newt was. He would follow her and do what he must to please her. He could care less of what any costs would be. Many things buzzed through his mind as he walked. A thin blanket of snow had settled on the ground as the chill of the air showed his living breath in the air.

Kairos felt so different...he was one man now, no ties of family besides his brothers. No one was alive who had assisted in his creation. He had even slain his mother himself. Not a drop of blood was to be seen on his black pelt but one could smell it. He smelled it even now, the dark crimson blood dried in his thick black coat. A salmon tongue would flicker out to lick his fangs as he proceeded. Should he feel guilty? Did he feel guilty? Perhaps it just hadn't hit him yet...but will it? Will it hit him suddenly one day? Perhaps...but that would be later, not now.

Now thinking about it he wondered if anyone would find his mother's body.Probably, but what would he do if anyone sent to tell him of the news? Would he confess?....yes, he thought he would. Now thinking back he wondered what Cross would do...well he hadn't really been around lately either. He was just like one of his brothers; here one minute then gone the next. A low grumble escaped Kai's throat as he even thought of his family. Selfish bastards, no one even thought about him anymore. But there was one wolf left that just maybe might have had him in her thoughts recently. Hopefully...

Standing at the edge of the borders of Tortuga Kairos threw back his head to let out a beckoning howl for the pretty vixen.

Standing there he lowered his head and set his purple gaze on what was before him. he would wait for a figure to appear, whether it be Newt's or not. He hoped she would show though. Basically she was all he had now...as sad of a sob story that may sound he didn't want to admit it. Kairos would make himself believe that he knew others, and that he truly wasn't alone. The world he knew before would crumble down around him as it left him standing there alone. And yet in the end the would eventually crumble down along with it....

Who were the souls that he once knew that were gone? his brothers were the first to go, abandoning him and their mother. But now she was dead, no one would ever harm her again. She was up there in the heavens with his biological grandparents. That's what he believed...even though he was sure he would never join her. the bastard would sit on his tiny pedestal of hot coals with a giant slab of black granite. He would be surrounded by fire as he would be tortured every second with sick twisted ways. All this just because he wanted the best for his mother, as she did so to him.

And may the souls of the dead let out their eerie bloodcurdling screams come the day Kairos himself would be punished. And who's scream would join their's in the depths of darkness? His...

Purple eyes would pierce the darkness as the scar that lay across his muzzle would show a devilish grin....it was not dark out yet, and he wasn't in Hell yet.

Who knows, maybe by sheer luck he would join his mother one day. Maybe she would plead for mercy upon her son and welcome him home with her ever kind smile and soft loving voice.

Shaking his head ridding himself for now of his thoughts the brute would wait for another soul to arrive...and so he did.
