This place was a bit different from the rest, I had to admit that. A long scar filled up with water ran across the land. Though it wasn't easy to get to this point, it was as good as any other. And on that note Kurai clung to my back like a baby monkey, afraid to misstep and fall into the water to be swept away into the ocean. My black tailed flicked back and forth as I made my way along the walls, dodging tree's as I went.
This place didn't seem so bad, it was amazing that was for sure. Then again I was amazed by bodies of water because of the desert. I was raised and born in one, therefore water had been rare, perhaps that's how I learned how to survive so well. I really wasn't sure, because it didn't feel like it changed anything about me. I stopped getting father away from the edge to be safe. You never new who would throw you off.
I raised my head to look around, red eyes scanning the forest, and then over the scar in the land. It seemed like some sort of murder scene, or at least it'd be perfect for one. I had only seen bodies torn apart, never floating across the water, or otherwise broken their neck across a cliff. In that sense, maybe I wasn't as innocent as others truly wanted to make me out as.
