He was getting older, and learning more and more with each day. His family usually kept him occupied, especially Faolan they seemed near inseparable. He loved his brother unconditionally, and he would easily call him best friend. He smiled at the thought, and wondered why his brother wasn't currently in his presence. It was probably because he had fallen asleep. He and the lighter colored pup had been off trying to catch rabbits when Mercury had become decidedly tired. He had opted for a quick nap while Faolan continued his adventures.
Now Mercury was quite alone in the territory. It was not often he found himself in such a situation. He was still quite comfortably lounging in the green of the grass, his ears were perked up as he searched for anything interesting around him. His eyes were however still full of sleep, and it would take him a few more moments before he was fully aware. There was much safety in the pack lands though, so immediate danger was rather low on his list of activities.

Each day she grew older, stronger, and she was slowly overcoming the sickness that had been such a burden to her in her childhood. Amalia was a pretty child, and in her early days she had merely seemed adorable, but now she was growing up. Her expressive eyes were like gems, her fur soft and light, her russet face lovely, almost as if it were coated in a layer of gentle blush. With her strength came the ability to explore, although she had yet to dare to venture beyond pack borders. No, she would not risk that just yet. Not when her parents would certainly not approve!
Her eyes settled upon a strange boy, intrigued by his appearance. He was black with a burst of bronze upon his face, and Amalia approached, keen on making friends. ?Hello, I?m Amalia Jayne Adravendi-Matthias, daughter of the Queen and King. Who might you be?? she asked, tail wagging. She was an extrovert if there ever was one.
