Song's petite paws would gently run over the back of her sweet daughter, Fal'Dara. She had opted to stay with her mother while Cherokee and the other children were out patrolling. She loved that he would take the little ones with him when he went out on duties. It made her happy to know that the babies would be getting the extra practice when they were little. They would make fine members of Ludicael someday. He muzzle would find the she pups ear, sugary voice dancing to her, trying to wake her from her sleep. "Wake up, my little dove. Your brothers and sisters are out having fun with your daddy." Her tongue would run over the small girl's head. "Why don't you and I go explore too" She giggled as wakefulness would creep to her daughter's visage.

Visibly the farthest from her mother's appearance the child clung to her the most, and one would think it surprising, but did it not make perfect sense? From the moment she had left her mother's womb she crawled to her mother for warmth, nourishment, and life. While her siblings preferred to be off and about with their father, showing off their introverted and intrepid ways, she enjoyed her concealment, hiding in the shadows, and remaining quiet. Today, her home wouldn't offer perfect sanctioning from the outside world, for when her mother's tongue lightly danced over her head and her soft words came forward, the toddler would rise and stare.

Adventure, synonymous with departure, from that which was familiar to her. She needed to be acquainted with more, needed to get a firmer grasp on this world, but oh how it terrified her. Limbs stretched and seemed to pop as she prodded forward, nuzzling her head into the leg of her mother and excusing herself to the forefront of their den. Today, the would go out, and they would find something, but what? What in this world would capture her eyes?

As the words gently left her inky lips the dark babe would open her eyes curiously and take interest in her mother's face. Fal was very good at keeping to herself, or rather to Song's side. The little she wolf seemed to prefer her company than that of the rest of the family. She would always hang back when presented the opportunity to rough house with the other boisterous pups. That was why they would go out and see the world today, the sweetness of the pup could not be held from the earth for much longer.
Her dark body would pop as she stretched and became more aware. Song would rise from her position of rest, her daughter leaned into her leg affectionately. It didn't take her long to find the entrance of their home, the motherly figure was slightly surprised at the slight enthusiasm Fal'Dara held for the adventure they would begin. "Ready my sweet?" She would nuzzle the top of her child's head once more before leading her quietly from the entrance. The sun's rays would find themselves passing through the slowly changing color of leaves before they would reach the wolves' pelts. Song was unsure where she would take them on the expedition, but figured that now that her babies were a season old it would be safe to see the ocean. "Do you want to see the big water, Fal?" She cooed to her young pup after letting her take in the scenery.

She would remove herself from the den, paws falling on lush grass and eyes turning to look tentatively back at her mother. Was this alright? Was it natural? She could be here. It was safe. Nose pressed into the side of a blade of grass and she inhaled. It was so fresh. So, so, nice. Gaze turned back to her mother as the adult called out in question; wondering what it was the child wanted to do today. What did she want to do? Water, expanse, the potential to learn? She was ready and willing and immediately she snapped to the idea of going. A smile invaded her face and she ushered a gentle look to her maman, Ye," the soft cry of a willing child was innocent and could not be tapered with. Song would know Fal'dara's voice, surely, anywhere she was and no matter what she said. Likewise, Fal'dara would not forget the sound of her mother's commands, of her wants and things. She was a child, and her mother was the apple of her eye. Pleasing her was essential to survival.

Her child was slightly in awe at the the grass, Song would just smile encouragingly at her. She took the time to enjoy the fresh air as well, her nose taking in the sweet scents of the day. A smile would erupt from the lips of her precious offspring, a sweet confirmation followed. The mother she wolf would be pleased at the display of excitement her daughter showed, the ocean was one of her favorite places. She would let a soft chuckle fall from her lips, giving assurance to the babe.
She would lower her head slowly, only to place the most delicate of kisses to the top of her coal head. "Come then, walk with mommy and we'll go discover the ocean." She spoke softly and excitedly, happy for the one on one time she was able to spend with her more timid child. She would watch for her child to begin trekking along beside her, never would her gaze wander from the she pup for more than a few moments.

Quote:

She enjoyed being out in the open and different areas of the world, and since the day her parents had taken her out to explore with her siblings she had craved more, though she had sat obediently without running off. Still, she was aware that eventually she would not be able to hold on and she would move to make these trips her own. Eventually, she would see the world with her own eyes and by her own discovery, though, in her mind, that day was far off and she was still focused on the things her mother was to instill into her. The babe pressed her body to the side of her mothers, letting her sides dance into the leg of her mom before following her, "did your momma show you the ocean?" she wanted to know all the little things that made the world as vast as it was, and that included knowing what her mother's momma did for her. Were they the same? different? Were they as close as Fal'Dara wanted to be to her momma? Time and a good story would hopefully tell.

.ooc. It's cool, I'm not in any kind of rush <3 <3
She loved the feeling of having her daughter so close to her body, she would bask in the love that beamed from her child. Forever she would find affection for the girl born of her body, from the union of her parents came the pups who now walked the lands of Ludicael. One day they would rule the land, she just hoped she would be able to prepare them well enough for their future lives. "did your momma show you the ocean?" Song took in the question, happy to be able to have it. She wanted to paint a pleasant picture of their grandmother, because really she was a great wolf. She had made a mistake with Song and her siblings, but there were always second chances. "Once, and not the same ocean you'll see today. Mommy was born a long way away from here."
Song would smile encouragingly at the she pup as she motioned her to her feet. They would need to walk a bit to reach the sparkling water.

children were such an innocent thing, particularly her, for she was still bathed in the innocence of the world and had seen nothing to make her think anything were so wrong? She was quick to question her mother's explanation and even faster to make assumptions of her own, "where was that ocean?" it couldn't be that big if there were many of them? Or could it? how big was this world she lived in? Much larger than she, she knew that, but...how big. there were a thousand and more questions that the small child could have asked, though she did hold herself with a level of control a child should not be so ready to exhibit. She was different than most, smarter in some senses, though ti was all without arrogance. She was a breath of fresh air in the sense she portrayed a level of maturity most couldn't, at the same time, was that wrong? she was so young and yet didn't frolic and roll and have a good 'ole time. she was particularly boring...maybe she'd try to explore. On her own. without telling her mom. Would her mom be okay with that?

Song was pleased to hear how curious her daughter had become, the adorable she wolf would question all that her mother said. Song would enjoy the questions, glad to explain the workings of the world to her young daughter. "where was that ocean?" Song would smile at her young child, happy to explain. "In a place called Dimenticato. You know we live in Alacritis and we are part of the Ludicael pack. But mommy came from a pack called Ahlon, and the ocean was there." She attempted at an explanation she hoped Fal'Dara would understand. "Mommy travelled a long way to get here." she would continue, not sure if she had instilled the sense of how huge the world was. She would let her paws continue to carry them closer to the ocean, Song was eager to see the look on her baby's face after seeing the vastness of the water. She had been incredibly impressed the first time she had encountered it.

She wasn't quite at the age to understand treasuring a memory. She loved her mother, oh how she loved her mother, but it didn't necessarily meant she knew what she would think if she was gone. She had not yet been able to wonder what life would be like without her mommy--for all she knew they were together forever. It made the most sense to her; and that was fair--wasn't it? ?"why'd you leave demonotickatato?" was that what she had called her oceanic wonderland? Made sense to her and thus the child ran with it. Yellow eyes fully stared up at her--waiting and wondering what was to be told to her. she was so fascinated.
