In her wandering, and avoiding the storms up here, the pallid queen had missed the birth of her first litter of nephews! Now, tea cupped paws thumped against the terra as she cantered through the drizzle. Honestly, it was no wonder people got upset at her all the time. The femme was surprised her family even still liked her, what with her constant disappearances and missing out on important events. She needed to see Novel, and congratulate her. She needed to meet these cuties, and teach them how to push their momma's buttons, and the best places for adventures. Yes, that was at the top of her to do list for now. The alabaster giantess practically exploded through the borders, seeking her little sister. To reiterate, little in the sense that she was much smaller, her personality was larger than life. Novel was a little ball of sunshine, with the presence of a giant.
Keen nostrils would flare, seeking the scent of her sister. Dainty cranium would swing back and forth, dual toned eyes narrowed as she tried to make out her sibling's scent amid all the chaos of the pack smells and the steady, light rain falling all around. Nothing. This rain was going to be the death of her, and she was lucky she'd lived this fuckin' long. With an exasperated sigh, she dropped her sensor closer to the ground, sniffing at the muddy earth for a more tangible trail. Still nothing. Seriously, what the hell? Well, it looked like she needed to go and find someone to help her find Novel. With another irritable exhale, the willowy ivory form of the wandering princess began to make its way through the mist shrouded springs. She was definitely going to fall into another pool, Lakota could feel it.

OOC: Oh no crap starter post that took forever am sorry!

He?d take every chance he could to sneak from his mother?s den, tiny paws would carry him from the entrance as quietly as he could. He would try to keep himself from trouble as best he could, he knew what would happen if his mom caught him sneaking from the den while she and Ara were asleep. His paws were covered in mud as soon as he?d left the den but he didn?t care much about it. Tiny paws would continue to trudge through the mud as his bright blue eyes would take in the fog that surrounded the territory.
The water would fall on his features as he walked, his senses all alert for anything new that might come to his attention. He?d dodge the large pools that would suddenly appear under his feet. His clumsy form would dodge as his rump would fall back onto the ground as another wolf would appear before him. Bright eyes would open wide as the she wolf who looked impossibly like his mother loomed above him. No noise would leave his lips as he looked up at her with incredible curiosity.

A little wolf suddenly appeared at her feet, silent as the grave and wearing an expression of wonder. A delighted grin would come to play at her delicate features, tapering crown would lower so she could get a little closer to the itty bitty one's level. What a beautiful child, those markings were lovely. "Well hello there, little one." Gentle melodies would greet, two toned optics fixed upon his face. Onyx lips twisted with her smile, revealing pearly daggers as she lowered herself to the ground. Elbows and knees bent at a slightly uncomfortable angle as she crouched down to speak to the little one. Mud covered his tiny feet, and he looked like he should still be clinging to his mother's side. However, it wasn't her business to chide a youth she didn't know. "I'm looking for my sister, Novel. She gave birth a little while back, and I kinda missed it. Do you know where her den is?" She inquired softly, raising a brow in question. Mismatched audits twitched under the assault of the drizzle and the sounds that would arise every now and again.
She felt guilty for not seeing her sister sooner, but that didn't mean she was about to be sheepish about seeing her now. Not to mention, she wanted to see the beautiful spawn her sibling had created. Come to think of it, those beautiful blues looking out from this little one's face were quite familiar. Could it be?

She was much bigger than mommy Novel. She was even bigger than mommy Ara. Still, he couldn?t take his brilliant gems off of her. It was like his mother was standing right in front of him, but she was obviously very distorted. He would not show any alarm, just blatant curiosity. She would lower herself to him so he didn?t have to careen his neck and would greet him with harmonic lyrics. He would only smile widely, showing off his sharp puppy teeth in joyous amusement at her words. She?d tell him of her intentions. Though the boy was not one to speak many words he understood her perfectly. She was looking for mommy. His tail would beat thunderously on the mud, the most noise he?d made since meeting the tall female. "Home!" He would squeal as he beamed up at her, jumping to his feet and dancing around. He?d turn himself around and squeal once more as his mud tail would deposit such dirt upon his back where it hit from his excitement. She could follow him back to mommy Novel.

speech,

The unguarded curiosity in his gaze reminded her so much of the sister she sought, who was always the one who wanted to know things about people, and about herbs, and about the way everything worked. All Lakota had ever wanted to do was see the world, and everything in it, and that had yet to change. His beaming smile was such a sweet little thing, and she adored it. In response to her query, his little tail slapped against the mud slicked terra so heavily she was briefly worried it might come off. His squeaky pup voice announced a single word, home, and her suspicions were affirmed. A jovial little dance on the spot would follow, and the giantess would only laugh. What a sweet little one, undoubtedly her sister's child. The pallid femme would straighten once more, and watch the wolflet let out an indignant squeak as his spine was splattered with a dollop or seven of mud from his tail.
Without another word, the two were off to see Novel. It would be good to see her again, it had been a very long time. Then it occurred to her, Novel might not have even seen her yet. She could not recall meeting up with her sister again since she returned, though she'd probably seen her at the occasional Ludicael meeting, before it had become Sawtooth. She hadn't visited for a while, though she'd met up with Dhiren just after the renaming of her family pack. Tea cupped paws struck the terrain with only muted squelching sounds, and she only slipped occasionally. Thank the gods this was no longer a torrential downpour, or she'd be tempted to curse profusely. That would probably damage the child beside her more than anything else she could do. Probably. "What's your name, sweetheart?" She hummed, dual toned gaze directed to the youngster who she was trailing along beside. Knowing Novel, she would have picked something with a whole lot of meaning behind it.
