another storm had been brewing, and the air was thick with the promise of a storm. slim tawny figure meandered through the red-woods, her small stature granting her ease as she ducked under bushes, digging, searching. the smell of decay had brought her to this part of the forest, and she wasn't to be dissapointed when she found the remains of another's kill decomposing slowly. maggots oozed from the remains of the beast, tearing a delightful peel of laughter from her jaws. trusting her jaws forward she nosed the kill, dancing around it like a damn near excited pup. As she nosed it, a maggot climbed on her nose, and she wrinkled her lips, licking at it, a grunt of satisfaction escaping her as the measly animal slid down her throat. lo, it tasted divine! she hadn't paid much attention to the changes in the pack, and had only attended the meeting that the new queen, had called. medusa was her name, what an interesting name, she had as well as an interesting title. mayhaps one day, jezebel would speak to her, or perhaps not as the maggots were more... entertaining at the moment.
