The girl woke up early that morning to do some thinking. The crisp air giving her some sense of security in the caverns. They were rather warm during the fall though, so that was a good thing. Considering it was almost cold all the time here anyway. Arian limped to the center of the biggest cavern before throwing back her head in a howl that would carry out in the territory to call a meeting. Many members were brand new, giving her time to introduce them to each other. While they were still small it was important to create a sense of security among each other. Along with that, this was a time to care for each other.
Arian would settled on her haunches, tail curling around the rest of her body. While she had been very inexperienced she was learning and that was what was important. Depending on what everyone wanted to do, their next course in life would be decided. Though soon festivals and other events would take place. But who knew how long peace would last.
ooc: all wolves must attend, remember if you miss two meetings than you will be demoted three and your wolf will be kicked from the pack. Nov 17th is the due date for posts.

The healer silently counted the pile of herns in front of him. The small den he'd made his home in Allowed just enough room for him to lie down in, with the mountainous pile of herbs, roots and who knows what else taking up the rest. Ever since joining Isokan Sage has travelled all over Alactricia collecting things to take care of the pack during winter. He dreaded not being ready. Being the only healer in the pack besides Arian was a bit challenging, but he took the responsibility willingly. It was just as he finished taking stock that the howl of Arian swirled into his home. With a smile, Sage rose and squeezed out of the opening, running to where his alphess called.
It seemed he was the first to arrive he noticed. He padded into the clearing. With a smile and a dip of the head to Arian, he reported quickly Good morning, Miss Arian. It's good to see you. I'm nearly stocked for winter. Quietly he seated himself a bit to the side to wait for the meeting to begin.

Allen was gone. Quelt was gone. Who did he have left? He had Arian...but he still needed to get closer to her as family. Aiko...Renhet. That was about it. Darrah was back in Abaven, probably training and having a blast. Levi was---well, Ixionn didn't know. Probably off somewhere. Maybe he was in Abaven...but his aroma was gone far away. Vanished like a fart in the wind. He did act pretty strange when they last met each other at the Devil's Spout. Strange things, so many strange things going on that both made him angry and emotional. But he needed to focus on training. Becoming a good heir.
Arian's howl...good grief. And on a day in which he was taking an amazing nap in the sun, too. Drago shifted at his side and gave him a simple look of anticipation. And Ixionn just groaned. He really wanted to skip this meeting...but Arian would be mad. She'd chase him into a river, or up a tree. Maybe into a bear's cave. Gah. Was it really worth the trouble? The boy slowly shifted to his feet and welcomed the lizard onto his back. Then, took off toward mines, where his queen and a new wolf waited.
Couldn't you have warned me that we were having a meeting!? I was taking a nap and all the sudden it was like...a big brick to my face! The boy hobbled into the meeting area, where he howled out his complaints in a loud, obnoxious voice. He was so distracted that he almost crawled past the newcomer---but once the new aroma hit him, he stopped, turned, and stared at the boy. Green and orange eyes...black and white. Not familiar. His aroma wasn't at all familiar, either.
Ixionn snorted and dipped his head. Then turned and dragged himself over to Arian. Whyyyy... The boy plopped down beside her and rolled onto his back. It shouldn't be too long before everyone else arrives...

Exodus would rise from his rest in the warmer areas of Isokan. He wasn't used to cold, but if Arian was willing to give him a home here he would adjust. He would hear her howl not too close by, but as he came closer he was able to her the voices of a couple others.

It had been a year since he was born, he should have been used to his disability by now, but he was still very uneven with his step. He moved rather slowly, picking up and dropping his paws gently to be sure of not tripping over anything.

He would make his way to the two that had already arrived, sat before Arian finding more comfort in her. He wondered if anyone else was looking at him, though he was used to it and didn't let it bother him hardly at all.

A soft breath would leave her when she rose to Arian's howl. She was still trying to find herself, find her comfort in coming back to Isokan. She had yet to speak to Ixxion, try to make the bond with her only remaining sibling a bit stronger. She was uncertain... but she would come to the call. She wanted to find her place here, to find some sort of skill. She couldn't do that without a mentor, and she couldn't hope to get a mentor, or any sort of training, without first attending the meetings.

She would come in quietly, finding an unfamiliar scent the first to hit her nose. Then came Ixxion and Arian's, and even another. The femme would come to a stop, looking at the newcomer quietly, uncertain, before padding closer to Ixionn and sitting down two feet or so away from her. She'd give a small nod to Arian before looking at her brother, trying to manage a small smile. "Glad... to see you're still here..." Her words were quiet, though she was attempting to reach out to her other sibling at least.

With winter coming the young man was grateful that he had a home, and that it wasn't just him there either. He had been settling in with Camille, a dear companion he was glad he had met. Each day brought practice with his speech, of learning to socialize properly once more. The young man felt that he had her to thank for his current progress, and without her he might have just been alone, or, had he found his sister and her mate again, he might have fallen back into be a third wheel. He loved Silveris, he truly did, but at the same time he had to find his own way through life. Someday he'd return to her a stronger wolf, and try to unite the Latchme family. But right now there was much to learn... much to do.

Heading the call of the Soul of Isokan Biull would rise, giving a gentle nudge to Camille. The two had been resting, getting used to their new surroundings, and the male had taken it upon himself to make sure she was safe. He felt... so protective over her. Part of his old, kindly nature was coming back out, and the young man certainly had more life in his eyes. Each step he took lead him towards the others, and in time to hear the loud complaints of a youth.

Well... Biull would frown, though certainly not waste his words on commenting. He still had trouble speaking with volume anyway, and his words were still too slow and broken for his liking. He would however, give a bright smile to Arian, giving her a greeting. "Hello... Arian..." The raspy words left him, though it didn't seem to cause him great discomfort to speak anymore. He'd sit down by a black and white male, all of the others gathered yet simply strangers around him. Soon, he hoped, they would not be strangers, but friends. Family. Maybe... maybe one day Silveris and Emery would be here too.

At that though he'd look to the male he sat beside. His brow would furrow some... the scent was different yet... somewhat familiar too. "Excuse... me... do you... know... a wolf... named... Emery?"

Their numbers were small, it frightened her. A pack was not a pack without it's members, though maybe in time they would grow. This was her family after all. As she stood with her tail flicking behind her, these were her people to address. It may have been odd for an adravendi to be in the north, but the last name hardly meant a thing to her anymore. She was Arian, as far as she was concerned, her last name did not dictate who she was. Her crystal eyes watched them, as she smiled a little at Ixionn. Before clearing her throat. "I'd like to welcome all who have joined us. I can see that we are small, but maybe in time that will change." she said as she watched them. "I have quiet a few things to say in this meeting. Ever since gaining this pack, I have yet to explain to you what the rules are and my intentions for this pack." Arian stood proudly.
"Isokan means Unity in the walkers native language, which is the family I was born from. But, while my friend Quelt made this pack for the walkers, I don't want this to be another mediocre pack who believes that their titles matter more than the strength they show themselves. No one, gets left behind. Where one slacks another will always be there to pick us up. We are not perfect, but we will act like we are to the outside world. Kind, but fearsome to our enemies. Isokan is a pack I intend to be a family." she spoke. "Before a wolf turns two years of age they will remain as a bud, assigned to a mentor in their chosen field before trying to move up in ranks. While I highly discourage it you may challenge for a rank, you will receive those through hard work as well though. As of this moment, I'd like to make Ixionn the watcher or heir, as it was planned before hand. I know many of you are new so you do not know the boy, but he is bright and his father intended this position for him." Arian stopped for a moment. "I will now explain the ranks." she hoped that she was not laying too much information on them. "The soul is the ultimate ruler of the pack. They are the alpha whether female or male. In charge of organizing everything that makes up the pack. Their word is to be held on high regard. The watcher is a young wolf most likely chosen at it's birth or whenever deemed necessary to be raised and groomed for the future of the pack. They are expected highly of, but do not hold much authority until the age of two. The wing is the lead beta wolf, someone who has the Soul's complete trust. They usually are keen on fighting, but may always have other skills as well. They can accept and deny members, as well as over see training. The holder is the wing's support, also known as the secondary beta. The holder and wing work closely together but usually the holder is a rank chosen by the wing themselves with the soul's permission. The holder does not have as much power, but they can hold training sessions. The leaf is the head healer of the pack. Charged with looking after the injured and sick as well as holding regular healer meetings for everyone to know the basics. They also are in full charge of the stems or healers. Soldiers and warrior of the pack are called Fang, they are wolves who have specialized in fighting. Each Fang can mentor a bud when it is their time to do so. Fang are expected to patrol borders and hold regular training sessions to make sure that they are fit. Paws are equipped for hunting and relaying messages at a fast rate. They are expected to be able to call pack hunts when they feel is right and may be asked to carry messages to other packs when in need. Wolves who know the art of healing are called Stems and may minor in something else. They have to heal injured and sick members as well as mentor buds who wish to take this path. They fall under the Leaf's orders. Plains are new wolves of the pack, or most likely the unsorted. Plains can be subject to being pulled into a mentorship by the other categories. All wolves much choose a specialty even if they have any minor's. Plains should only remain in this rank if pregnant or new to the pack. Buds are young ones under the age of two. Only special exceptions will move up at the age of one, buds at the age of one are applied to a mentor to the category they wish to be in. Only when their mentor see's fit may they move up. Hostiles are those who have done something seriously wrong, such as trespass or another broken law. While they are essentially 'prisoners' they are not slaves. Any Hostile has a chance to prove themselves to enter the ranks, but if they wish to leave they must either be banished or fight for their freedom." Arian would finished and pause to let the information sink in.
"And no I will explain the rules, if you have any questions after feel free to ask. Isokan is a pack of unity, members are expected to give their free time to get to know each other. Each month a meeting will be held even if nothing important is to be said, a time for grooming each other and sharing things about their life. While they are a fairly nice mentality pack, Isokan members are to stay within the pack unless they ask the Soul directly with a good reason to leave. The soul may ask for a match to fight for their freedom. The pack isn't supposed to be fragile and just allow important members to leave. Everyone is expected to pull their own weight, or show interest in at least improving themselves. Those who struggle will be helped, but anyone lazing about will be punished. The pack is important to each other, they cannot drag each other down. Allies are to be treated with respect, they are not to be harmed or belittled. They same is expected of them towards the pack itself, though in times of war Isokan will only implement themselves if they feel that their pack is in danger. Be proud of who you are, but do not get cocky. Loose tongue's will not be tolerated within the pack. Yet the outside world should not see any Isokan as weak willed or a follower. We all have our strengths and weaknesses. The soul does not mind outside life, just know the inside of Isokan is sacred. Should a mate be taken outside of the pack, if the female is in isokan and becomes pregnant the pups belong to Isokan. The soul will fight to keep them if necessary, the young are the future of the pack. Training sessions will be held regularly, members are expected to attend especially if it is their specialty. No wolf is to become rusty, they must always be polishing their skills in one thing or another. Help each other out and stick close, everyone is family, blood related or not. Kindness should not be confused with weakness, there is nothing wrong with being kind to one of your own. Yet remember to stay strong in the face of enemies." The girl would then stop and settled herself to look at them.
ooc: yeah I just posted the info from the pack page xD you will not have to post unless you want to, after the move Arian will be trying to recruit more and members who help will be rewarded.
