Unknown territory. That's where he was...he had wandered here, not really with a path in mind. He just went wherever his paws carried him. And they carried him to this territory. He had smelled wolves somewhere along the way, but he didn't bother to stop and check to see who the territory belong to. Why should he? He didn't feel like he belonged anywhere. He had no family, no friends, no kind of life to live really. He just wandered aimlessly until he got hungry. He even went as far as to ignore the pleading cries of females in heat in the surrounding area. He had thought about it on occasion...but then, he didn't want to mate with any random whore who called for any and all pulsing males in the area. He wanted something, a relationship that would last a lifetime. One person to share his love with, and raise a family. He always vowed to be with his kids and family when the time came. He wouldn't leave or abandon them, ever. He could never be that kind person.

He stopped, the scent of prey catching his attention. His paws ached, but his belly demanded to be fed. So he did what any sane wolf would do to survive, he would hunt.

Kairos had made his way to another strange place. This was the second place he had traveled too that wasn't in the safety of the borders of Glaciem. Purple orbs looked this way and that as he had no idea where he was with a huff the boy continued on his way and watched his breath as it floated in the cold air. A small giggle escaped the pup's lips as he then smirked at the snow beneath his white toes.

Black ears perked up as he heard a small rustle over to his left. Then his nose took in the scent of two other wolves. He peeked his head over a fallen snow covered log to get a good look at the scene. From Kai's view he could see a female hiding behind some bushes and another male who seemed to be going after some prey.

His purple gaze settled on a shrew that was in the snow...not too far away from the brute. With a small smirk and a whisk of his tail the boy jumped over the log and made a run for it. He wasn't even close to a yearling but on the inside he was a man! Grown and ready to be on his own! Yet on the outside was a playful cute puppy away from home.

With a leap Kairos landed on the shrew and rolled in the blanket of snow. With a giggle he stopped to look at the dead shrew then up at the male and the hiding female behind the bushes. With a small smile his tiny tail wagged behind him.

Maybe Kai had just stolen this mans meal...but he hadn't even thought of that. Purple eyes looked up at the male as Kairos let the shrew swing by it's tail from his jaws. He put his rump in the air and got into the playful position. The pup hopped to the right and hopped to the left as the dead prey swung in his jaws. Kai's tiny tail wagged as he then let out a small playful growl.

"If you want this shrew you're gonna have to come and get it." he said with a raised brow.

Hopefully the other brute would give in. Kairos felt rather playful and a chase would settle him down. Or perhaps a small playful wrestle would do the trick. He was kind of bored playing with his two brothers now. And then his mother was always busy. Kairos hadn't even see his grandma Crusade in a while. The boy knew he was a big gramma's boy.

With another hop and a wag of his tail; Kai swung his head to swing the shrew that dangled from his jaws. He forgot about the dame hiding behind the bushes. Right now he was focused on getting the brute to play with him.

"normal,
I talk,
I think,
you speak"

Knight had been slowly stalking through the snow. Prey had tempted him into hunting, and that's what his instincts screamed at him to stop and hunt. He pressed his body low to the ground, paws carefully skimming the snow as his eyes caught sight of a small movement in some grass stalks. All senses focused on this creature, nothing would stop him from making this catch...as the mottled brown male slunk closer, he found that the prey he sought was a small shrew. Slightly disappointed, he still wouldn't pass up the opportunity. Food was food after all, and being in a land he knew nothing about, well he had to eat something. He hadn't seen any other prey since he came here, asides from the carrion he passed in the open lands where blood stained the ground. He shuddered, that was not something he wanted to see again. Focusing his attention again, he continued carefully...slowly...getting closer and closer...

Then, before he knew it, snow sprayed him. Dumbfounded, he shook his head free of snow. When the spray cleared, he saw a cub with the shrew. HIS prey! Where the hell did this kid come from!? He hadn't scented or heard him! What was a pup doing out here in the first place anyway? Shaking his head, he bared his teeth in a frustrated manner. This kid had stolen his meal, and now he was jumping around like he wanted to play!? He didn't quite understand it.
"If you want this shrew you're gonna have to come and get it." The brown warrior felt bewildered. He didn't know how to react, but from the looks of it, this boy wanted to play. "Hey kid! What do you think you're doing!? I've been waiting all day to find food, what's your problem!?"

The beast was not amused by the pups carelessness. Sure he had caught the creature...of that he had to admit was worth praising. But still, the pup interfered in the business of another. Into HIS business, who was he to do such a thing?
