Ooc, Seracians first if possible, then Valhallans can make their greetings. Yay wedding!

It was time. Winter was here and the wedding date was set. There was a certain chill in the air, but the weather had nothing to do with it. The King of Seracia arose early on that morn, so early that the sun had not yet lit up the sky with even a small glow. Darkness overtook the wintery Seracia, but the glow of the moon on the snow was enough to guide him by. He would move to the center of the packland, finding his way to the machinery shed and angling his back to it as a backdrop. Eyes would sweep all around him, searching for movement. There was none. Fluidly he would lift his head and release a beckoning melody ? encouraging his comrades to join him in the march to Valhalla. This day would be a day of celebration. The sun streaked across the sky as his melody ceased and his crown returned to its natural angle. Here he would wait for the gathering party. Whoever came would not be denied, but they would have to behave appropriately ? though he wasn?t too worried about that.

------- [ time skip to when they have gathered] -------

As they gathered he would nod to each of them, and when their arrivals slowed considerably he parted his jaws in speech. ?Thank you all for coming, today is the day that Seracia will unite with Valhalla through the marriage of my son Maverick and his bride, Epiphron Adravendi. Their union will be a representation of the unwavering alliance between Seracia and Valhalla. Each and every one of you are welcome to join in this occasion, but are expected to represent Seracia in the best way you possibly can. I anticipate no less than kindness and courtesy toward everyone you should come across in this endeavor. And now, we will begin our travel to Valhalla.? With those words spoken and out of the way, the King moved from his position and toward the west where Vallhalla did lie.

------- [ time skip to when they arrive on Valhallan borders ] -------

As Valhalla expanded before his very eyes, the King halted respectfully at their borders. The sun had risen completely above the horizon, but had not made much progress in its ascent into the sky. With a smile he offered forth a howl, calling anyone in Valhalla who could escort he and his party into their lands. A chill buffeted his frame as he turned back to the fray. A smile broke out onto his face as his tail danced between his hocks. Amethyst eyes sought his son as a question drifted from his lips. ?Are you nervous, Maverick?? Words were not totally in jest, but there was a certain amount of humor laced into them. The King could not be more pleased.

The boy had been anxiously awaiting his father's call. He hadn't slept more than a few minutes that night, but instead had been lying in the open staring up at the stars. In a few short hours he would be marrying the girl he loved. He - along with Epiphron - would be symbolically signing the bottom of a very important contractual alliance between Valhalla and Seracia. It was a big step, but one he was more than willing to take. His father's call was a welcome relief to the flood of nervous thoughts in his head. In an instant he was on his paws, shaking briefly and moving toward the shed. He settled himself alongside his father and watched as the others gathered. Not a word slipped drom the prince's jaws, his tongue felt like a piece of leather. When his father moved to leave, Maverick followed suit.

The travel to Valhalla was normal for him. He'd done this before, more than once. Paws carried him rhythmically astride his sire as his mind again began to whirr. He'd never been to a wedding before. What would it be like? What would the rest of Valhalla be like? Would Syrinx be there? Maverick's tail flickered behind him. He wasn't afraid of Syrinx anymore, nor of the rest of Valhalla. They had to respect him now. The voyage was mostly in silence, save for the chattering of the other Seracians. And so they went.

When they arrived he breathed in the welcoming scent of Valhalla. It was familiar, and somewhat exciting. His father thought highly of these wolves, and so he did as well. He joined in on Gerhardt's chorus, tapering off in unison with the King. Gerhard then asked him if he was nervous. With a gulp he forced his leathery tongue to produce words. "Should I be?"

Being the rather anti-social wench that she was, Destruction had no idea what was going on in her new pack. She'd heard whispers of something going between Seracia and this pack called Valhalla. She didn't know who the other pack was, and frankly she didn't really care. Whatever was going on was the business of the alpha and she was just a member, nothing to concern her with. So the russet stained wench was somewhat surprised when she heard her king's call echo across the snow-dotted landscape, summoning his pack to him. Not being one to deny the call of a superior, the obsidian women abandoned her small den, her young son Dillinger in tow as she moved towards the king's call.

Destruction moved towards a new part of the territory she had yet to explore, realizing it was in the middle of the packlands. She could see the king's figure outline by the barn as he stood facing his people, awaiting their arrival. It appeared that she and the king's son were the first to answer the call. Gerdhart wasted no time thanking the arriving members for their participation, as always expecting them to act accordingly and represent Seracia to the best. Destruction had no problem with that, dipping her head in acknowledgement as the king lead the Seracian party towards the pack called Valhalla. They trek to the other pack's land didn't take too long and soon she could see the border of what she assumed to be the Valhallan territory. The king's party stopped just short of the border as the king and his son called out to the Valhallan superiors to come and escort them. Destruction and Dillinger hung back some, simply observing. The purpose of the trek here was still uncertain to the dark wench, but she supposed she would find out soon enough.

OOC: Not sure when eve will be back, so I'll just PP Dillinger a little bit. Hope you guys don't mind

ooc: Short post is crappy. XD Changed to include Reficul.

This was a major event, which was why Loccian had gone down to a frozen creek earlier with Reficul. She wanted them to looked clean and presentable, look like good members of Seracia and not a bag of bones that couldn't take care of herself. When that was all finished she waited until the call came, making her way over to the group but because she had been gone for awhile, both because of Octavian's death and to regain her strength, she remained in the back. Grey eyes fell upon the King as he spoke, giving a dip of her head to him and Maverick.

And before she knew it, there they were, standing at the borders of Valhalla. Loccian remained at the back, grey orbs scanning the lands before them. She had a feeling things would run smoothly, but at the same time she also felt like something bad wold happen. Not wanting to think negatively the shewolf shook her head quickly, taking a deep breath before making her away around some wolves and to the front of the group, stopping beside Gerhardt. Of course asking the little pup with her to stay by her side. Nervousness is normal, it would not be surprising if you were a bit. She spoke up but still holding that gentle tone of hers, a light laugh escaping her jaws, but at the same time a bit awkward for her. It shows you are ready. She smiled.

Walk | Talk | Think

As soon as she had heard about the betrothal, and the happy change that had taken place to it, Tahlia had been extremely delighted for the young groom. Prince Maverick had been the one to accept her into the pack and had proven to her undoubtedly that Seracia was the place where she would be most happy. The tour he had given her had been incredibly enjoyable and helpful all the same, and to know that the young wolf who had made her transition into the pack so easy and seamless was going into marriage with a she-wolf that he cared for and loved made her wish to play witness to the happy moment and add her merry wishes to the many others he would surely receive.

She had risen with the rest, gathering at Gerhardt's call, and sitting primly amongst her pack mates listened as their leader instructed them on the events that would follow and the strict guidelines they would be held to. The thought of being able to visit another territory in the company of her pack only added to her excitement about joining them at the wedding, and the smile about her face was one full of eager anticipation and honest joy. Wasting no time, the russet and black she-wolf had trailed after the rest, sticking close and watching the horizon expectantly.

Golden eyes were attentive and observant as they neared their destination, pausing her advance along with the rest of the pack and settling in amongst the others as Gerhardt and Maverick called out to the Valhallan pack. A few words were exchanged with those who stood about, and Tahlia chuckled gently. "So exciting!" she murmured happily, her quiet words meant for no one in particular and perhaps just for herself. She smiled as she continued to look past the pack land's border, eagerly anticipating the arrival of the pack's leaders and this sweet sounding young lady that would be the wife of the Seracian Prince.

Sincerest Regards,

Tahlia Carlier

The pup hopped alongside her new adopted mother shyly. Making sure to stay right by her, while Loccain had cleaned her up Ref didn't like being around so many wolves at once. She had no clue there had been such large groups of creatures like her mom and dad around. Reficul was determined to learn everything she could though staying close to Loccain as much as she could. After the girl spoke to the male Ref tilted her head. "What's going on, why is everyone getting ready to move by the looks of it?" The pup questioned curiously. Though when she spotted the large prince she shyed away behind Loccain's legs. The other wolves too were gathering.

Reficul watched everyone with her mismatched eyes. It made her so unsettled to be around more than two or three wolves. She hoped she would get used to it, but she dare not ask them who they were or what they were doing. They looked to be all busy on their own. "Is it even okay for me to be here?" she whispered half to herself.

The newly appointed esquire had spent most of his first day in Seracia exploring, familiarizing himself with his new home. His second day had started out much the same. After finding himself a secluded den near his sister's sight the brute had gone out to find himself a quick breakfast, a small hare being his sustenance that day. Pontifex had been wandering near the fields, trying to figure out exactly what kind of prey animals resided in his new home when his king's call rang out. The esquire had heard some rumors about some big event that was going on and he assumed that was what the king was calling for. Needing to show that he was prepared to assume the responsibilities of his new title, the man was quick to respond to Gerhardt's call, coming just in time to hear the lord's speech about the king's son's marriage to the princess of a pack named Valhalla. They were all to represent Seracia to utmost best of their abilities and Pontifex knew he could do that well.

And so the party of Seracians made the trip to the Valhalla, the unfamiliar pack's borders coming into view soon enough. As the party halted the border, the esquire noticed his sister near the king, a small grey and black figure hiding between her paws. Pontifex edged just a tad closer, his golden gaze identifying the smaller figure as a pup. As far as he knew, Loccian didn't have a mate or children. So where had that child come from? He watched it curiously, the question of who and where it'd come from burning on his tongue. He would hold his questions till later, when they were alone. Right now he had to be attentive to what the king and the rest of his pack was doing. He needed to be a good representative to Seracia. He couldn't let his king down.

The golden male moved easily towards the call of their king almost as soon as the slightest sound left his throat. He knew what day it was, what this call meant and he could barely contain his excitement. He approached at a jovial lope, long legs bringing him to the meeting easily. Everyone was filing it, it seemed as though the whole pack would be joining them on their march to Valhalla. Excitement swelled within him but he reined it in as he slowed to a walk and approached the group. Deep bow would be given to Gerhardt, a tip of his head to Loccian and then a nod and a slight smile to Maverick. It felt like just yesterday they had been in Glaciem being charged by the mammoth of a male who ruled there. And now here they were, off to another pack on another adventure to get him hitched. Cynrik sat closer to the front, back straight and ears tipped towards Gerhardt as he spoke easily, greeting them all and explaining what was to happen. When he turned to leave everyone filed in behind him and Cynrik followed suit.
Instinctively he fell in line at Maverik?s hip, head low and respectful but eyes alert as he stayed alert for any danger that might swoop down upon their party. Words passed over him, he listened but as usual remained silent unless he was directly spoken too. But as they came to the Valhallan boarder the male tuned back in, smiling as he sat by Maverik as they waited. He would stand as soon as any Valhallen wolves showed up but for now his legs were tired from the trek and he wished to listen to the conversations. Was Maverik nervous? No? Cynrik chuckled softly at Loccian?s words, smiling easily at her comment about being nervous. ?I couldn?t have said it better myself? he said quietly, head tipped as he turned his gaze into the pack lands they were soon to enter. It was sunny today, the warmth soaking into his pelt despite the chill of the snow. It would be the perfect day for a wedding.

They were summoned before their King for her brother's wedding. With Valkis vanished, off somewhere no one knew, Maverick was all that she had left. Of course she was there, dainty gray and red paws carrying her across Seracian territory to stand before her father. She melted in with the mixture of other wolves, unwilling to greet her father and brother just yet. Now was a time for congratulations, for wolves to tell her brother that they were happy for them. Later, when there weren't wolves all around, she would speak to him, say something more meaningful than just 'congratulations.'

And so, when the time came to set off, she did so, moving smoothly across the ground with the rest of the Seracian wolves, watching as the landscape began to change. As they traveled, the lands grew more and more unfamiliar, heralding their approach of the western expanses of Alacritia.

When at last they had reached Valhalla's borders, her father let out a strong howl, summoning Valhalla's leaders to them, and then turned his attention to her brother. Kamala grinned, flicking her tail in amusement as she listened to him speak. "Mav, nervous?" The words were intended for herself, and the female laughed softly, ears twitching as she sank back on her haunches to wait for Valhalla to make an appearance.

This was easier, at least, than thinking about her own upcoming wedding, which would arrive at the turn of the season. To Gideon. Her Uncle. Oh, it was strange, so very strange, but if Maverick could do this, she could marry Gideon, right? But it was better to think about Valhalla, and Mav's future bride and nothing of her own life. Ears twitching, Kamala let the conversations of Seracia wash over her, listening to Cynrik and Loccian as they spoke without comment.

The lifetime king delivered himself as quickly as his old bones would allow, and though it had been against his initial inhibitions, he had decided that it was not his time to die and he had to see his children, had to make sure they would be taken care of. With this, this bond, that Epiphron had become so willing for, Cairo was certain that everything would fall into place for his daughter and that she could accept the future ahead of her, though, he also hoped that she would be able to be strong and be able to retain her independence. Though, it was she that was going to a new world, it did not mean all was lost, no no, it was only the beginning.

The man pulled his frame before that of the other leader, Gerhardt, and his eyes fell among the crown of the king, his glare hardened and oldened, yet simultaneously wide and soft, "Welcome, Seracia, to Valhalla. As we speak, the feast should be pulled in, and a ceremony awaits, Now, who is this 'Maverick' that wishes to marry my daughter" he was, naturally, unaware of what was here, of what this was, and of who to expect, but naturally he was composed, he was soft, and he was careful as he had been instructed to be.

They were arriving! It seemed too soon - and Chrysanthe was reluctant to leave her sister's side. Yet she would, for a moment at least, in order to welcome the Seracians into Valhalla's lands. The young female was hopelessly excited for her sister's wedding, but she was also nervous. Having another pack be here, hosting something that was so important, she could only pray that everything would run smoothly. Swallowing her nervousness, she traveled toward the other wolves, only to stop in her tracks as she recognized one of the scents that was going in the same direction. "Father?!" He wasn't supposed to be up was he? She ran after him, quick to catch up to the brunette man.

He seemed to be in relatively good shape. Eons better than how he looked when he collapsed at the meeting, but still with a sense of frailty about him that she wished she could simply will away. Hearing his words, she smiled at his words, her blue gaze instantly flicking toward the russet brute. "The dashing young prince of course." She subtly teased, and although her voice seemed completely serious she winked at the brute. He was probably nervous. As for Chrysanthe herself - she was feeling better about Maverick as a whole now that she didn't have to marry him. He was a sweet brute, and one that she trusted to take good care of her sister. If he didn't - well, it wasn't good to think about homicide on the day of said lupine's wedding. "Welcome to Valhalla." She dipped her head toward her guests, and then her eyes began scanning the crowd, hoping that she would notice when her eyes locked with Gerdhart's. She had heard much of Seracia's king, but never gotten the chance to see him before.

Erani dug through her stores, for once not looking for a cure. Of all times to hold a mating. She found what she was looking for. Lavender. Dried lavender that both held it?s soothing aroma and it?s beauty. There were several stems and bushels of it. She picked out the prettiest one and looked through the rest, before selecting a few more dried flowers. Flowers were a part of Mating Ceremonies. That much she knew from the Ceremonies that had been held in Redwood. A wedding might have the same tradition.

She gathered the flowers in her jaws and perked her ears at the sound of unfamiliar howls. The Seracians! She took off at a bound, her children, freshly groomed and clean, trailing after her, followed by, she was sure, a confused Nova. She knew they would catch up in time; they knew scent tracking now, thinks to their uncle and father. So she didn?t check her speed and arrived quickly, tail swaying in a warm welcome to the Seracian members as she nosed into Chrysanthe?s haunch in greeting, her mouth full of flowers. Cairo was there, she was delighted to see. She gave the male a warm whine of greeting as well. She had never given him physical affection, now that she thought of it.

Her eyes sought out Epiphron, searching for the young female that was so much like a daughter to her. The Bride wasn?t there. Erani turned her head to Chrysanthe with a questioning look and a muffled ?Erfehron??

Elphaba trailed behind the Seracian wolves, she had met Maverick once, the boy seemed harmless enough, competent and patient enough to easily accept Gerhardt's crown, she was serve the transition just as loyally as she had served Gerhardt. She knew nothing of Valhalla and even less of the wolf who was marrying their Seracian prince, she supposed she was going as more of a curiosity than anything else. She had never seen a wedding, had never been allowed to grace the sacred place of bonding with her filthy hide. Curiosity at what transpired encouraged her decision to attend.

She blended seamlessly, speaking politely when approached and remaining utterly silent otherwise. She gave the royal family their space, while she trusted no one here aside from Gerhardt and Maverick, she would not impede upon a day this important to either of them. She gathered with the rest of the crowd, clinging to the edges of the group almost subconsciously, a habit she had obtained in her youth, a quick escape if hostilities arose. She reclined to her haunches and waited for the ceremony to begin.

Insomnia flew as if the hounds of hell themselves were nipping upon her heels! Damn it all to hell she was running late! A hunting expedition had kept her several hours over what it should have and she had promised.. promised Maverick she would be here! She urged her aging limbs to propel her faster, harder, careening across the earth until she became naught but a blur of ivory and onyx. Crossing the Valhallen territory line without fault she careened towards his scent. She would probably be the only Glaciem wolf here, but they could all kiss her hind quarters, Insomnia loved Maverick and she was going to be here damn it.

Her gait only slowed as she burst into the clearing, and having no sense of propriety or tact she darted towards the prince, dark obsidian eyes gleaming with barely suppressed excitement in an effort to catch her runaway breath. "Maverick!" His name rumbled up through her vocals, the dame slightly winded and out of breath as she brushed her snout against his cheek, a quick brush of her tongue and she stepped back, a rather subdued greeting for her. "You look remarkably handsome, your wife is about to be one lucky lady." She winked at him playfully, before she noticed Gerhardt and a flush spread across her cheekbones. " Oh! Manners! I seem to have lost them! Gerhardt it tis a pleasure to see you again!"

The boy lightly romped through the snow towards what he heard was called a wedding. Ryker knew this was something special and he was oh so very excited to attend. With his fur all clean now from a thorough grooming from his parents he tried to keep the snow off of it as best as he could. Aqua blue eyes with a green flint in each shined with joy and excitement. His tiny gray tipped tail wagged in the air as he remembered the tickling feeling he got when his mother and father went to lick his fur clean.

White toes blended in with the layer of snow on the ground as he advanced towards the ceremony. His tiny nose could smell other wolves. There were even odd smelling wolves that didn't seem to be from Valahaller(Valhalla). Those other wolves must be from Serercia!(Seracia!) With a small playful bounce the boy came closer and closer. His gaze settled on Erani and then Chrysanthe. There was a big brown brute he had never seen before as well. Then there were a lot of the strange wolves and even an odd one out from the stars knew where!

The pup looked around confused for a moment; intimidated by the presence of all these large wolves in one place. Fear and confusion danced in his eyes until he remembered his daddy was on his way, probably close behind him.

With a small wag of his gray tipped tail the boy advanced some more and looked at all of the other wolves here. His tongue lolled out of his mouth until he remembered his lessons. Ryker then sat his tiny bum down on the ground and waited for the wedding to begin. Maybe someone would come and talk to him; the boy would love that! Then the pup looked over at Chrysanthe and the wolf who looked like he was the leader of the other pack. His gaze then settled on the prince as well.

The boy went to give them a small respectful now like he had always seen his father done. He looked at all of them and went to bow his head but ended up having his face in the snow. As soon as he had gotten himself all collected again did he try again and do a successful respectful nod with an adorable smile.

So Ryker sat there patiently and quietly as he waited for his father to sit beside him.

Aqua blue eyes watched the pup make his way through the snow. Thane smiled as he let a small chuckle escape his lips. White lined ears perked up as the brute listened for any signs of his companion. He heard nothing, they should be off then now. The brute followed closely behind his son as he watched the boy slowly advance. He knew his son was excited to attend the ceremony and see what it was like. In fact, Thane had never even been to one himself. The wolf had no idea what was going to happen. But he would learn soon enough right?

The smile never ceased as he watched Ryker's tiny gray tipped tail wave in the air. Soon enough an eagle's cry was heard. Aqua blue eyes looked up towards the sky as a golden eagle swooped down from the sky and landed on Thane's shoulder.

"Better late than never" Thane said to the eagle

"Oh you know I'd never let you down old chap!"

"Old? did you just call me old Cyril?"

"Oh heavens no!" he said with a wink.

Thane flicked a white lined ear at Cyril before turning back to his son who was now further ahead. The male made his way to Ryker and sat down beside the boy.

with a small smile he watched as Ryker tried to nod at Gerhardt, Chrysanthe, and Maverick. His aqua blue eyes widened as the boy went face first into the snow. The father took a step forward to help his son until he saw the pup pick himself back up and try again. Then did he watch his son with a proud smile and a chuckle held behind his lips.

With a small frown that turned into an amused smile the brute bent down and licked the boy's back to get rid of a few small twigs that had become entangled in the pup's fur.

Thane then looked up and looked around. His aqua blue gaze landed on Loccian as he looked. Maybe later he would go over to her with Ryker; but for now he sat respectfully waiting. The male gave a respectful nod towards Cairo, Chrysanthe, Gerhardt, and the prince.

With a smile he looked back down at his son wondering what was running through his little mind.

Gabriel

Gabriel didn't wish to be here. he didn't want to come, he didn't want to watch Pip leave. A sense of betrayal stabbed him painfully in the chest and he had spent the better part of the morning away from his family convincing himself that those tears that stained his snout weren't really tears. He wasn't really that upset. Pip had always seemed to favor him over his other siblings, she was supposed to take him places once he got bigger, they were supposed to be best friends forever, he loved her and she loved him... but she was leaving. Leaving Valhalla, leaving him and Gabriel didn't want to watch her go.

His siblings didn't seem to understand him, his mother was patient and kind but she couldn't always be with him, Pip was his best friend. he didn't approach the group, he didn't wanna be a part of the wedding. He lingered in the shadows of the trees, two toned oculars glossy with tears as his small frame leaned against one of the trees, he stayed hidden, out of sight, even made sure he was downwind so no one would scent him. He didn't wanna be here, but he had come because everyone else thought this was a joyous occasion, and he would support his family even if it broke his heart.

though the situation was different than what Collision had played a hand in, an alliance would still be forged between the packs and he would still arrive with fervor and readiness to support Valhalla. It had been the first time he had arrived to reinstate himself and this would not be confused with him failing. He wanted to be a strong leader and he would refuse to stop leading simply because he wasn't an alpha. He was strong, powerful, and he could help those that got left behind. Simple as that.
He strode up worming to the side of Chyrsanthe and he offered her a pleasant smile. Eyes found Gerhardt, and Maverick, and he offered them both a nod of his head, ready to carry out the events that were to come.

It had taken time - as had been expected - but Seracia had made its way to the borders of Valhalla. Soon enough after, the Valhallans began to trickle in - led first by their patriarch and creator: Cairo Adravendi. The man asked who Maverick was, and Gerhardt's head swung to the side, gesturing toward his son, before lips fell apart in speech. "What a pleasure it is to meet you face to face, Cairo. This is my son Maverick, the husband-to-be." Eyes of amethyst glittered as he gazed at the boy, wondering just how nervous he was. Chrysanthe came next, receiving a dip of the head from Gerhardt. He could say so much more, but he was trying to keep his tongue reigned in. More came and offered their greetings, resulting in more nods of his head. Epiphron, however, did not come just yet. Gerhardt assumed she was being prepared for the ceremony and feast.

A smile remained on his features as he took a gentle step forward with a wag of his tail. Eyes twisted to Chrysanthe. "Your sister tells me you have stepped up as Valhalla's Queen - er - Alpha. Congratulations!" The rise of a new leader was an exciting thing indeed, and certainly something to be praised. "I am afraid I am unfamiliar with your lands, so please do lead the way whenever you choose. I believe Seracia's party is all here and if any others are on their way I am certain they will be able to catch up." To say he was a bit eager was an understatement, but his exterior did not show even an ounce of this. Words were smooth, calm, and elegant as ever as the King waited to be directed. If assistance was needed for the ceremony he would be glad to oblige.

Nerves were a part of any young wolf's life, though they were fairly foreign to the seracian prince. He wasn't used to being nervous about most things, but he supposed it was normal to be a bit shaky on your wedding day. As the Seracians gathered he felt his nerves fleeing ever so slightly. Being surrounded by familiar faces was reassuring. Loccian commented on his father's question and Maverick gave her a half-smile in response. Words weren't exactly coming as easy as they usually did. Cynrik commented then too, and he gave a smile to the man as well. It seemed they all expected him to be at least a little nervous - that was a relief! He heard Kamala's quip but gave it no response, he was a bit too overwhelmed to engage in the usual sibling banter.

A man strode toward them from the opposite side of the border, a Valhallan - and an older one at that. Could this be Cairo? His blue eyes were similar to Epiphron and Chrysanthe's. His words confirmed his identity as he asked about the man who intended to marry his daughter. Maverick gulped and took a step forward, tail quavering behind him idly. His father introduced him and he gave a respectful dip of his head. There was no need to reiterate what his father had already said. Then came Chrysanthe, with a quick comment about him. He offered her a genuine smile - glad to have someone from Valhalla on his side.

Insomnia came next, offering him a rather subtle greeting - by her own standards. Her compliment was graciously received with a smile. He had taken a lot of time grooming himself for this event and was glad that someone noticed his efforts. More came but offered no specific greeting to him so he only glanced at them placidly. Finally, it came time for his father to speak again and all attention reverted to his sire. In juts moments he would be marrying Epiphron.
