will we burn inside the fires of a thousand suns?
Finally, finally it seemed everyone who would appear had, and Cat got straight to the point - or as close to it as it seemed women were capable of. The first thing she brought up was the lack of enthusiasm for the training Daegmar had called. As she continued on, Hati was almost surprised to find that for once it didn't really apply to him. In his old pack it seemed that every other thing was a demand on him or an expression of disappointment in him or some humiliating comment. Here he was more or less ignored as long as he was showing up and participating in the training, hunting, and meetings, which was completely fine by him.

Cat drew their attention to two of the wolves in attendance, introducing them as prisoners. Hati narrowed his eyes, seeing one of them was the female who had called him for a personal lesson. He didn't see the point in abusing them - they couldn't fight back and the idea of just beating on someone that just sat there and took it reminded him far too much of his half-brother Tyr, memories best dead and forgotten - but he was more than a little irritated that she would have had the gall to demand a personal lesson instead of waiting for the next group training. A prisoner, thinking to command power over him. His lip curled in fury.

He was, luckily, distracted from his anger as Cat went on to assign the pup Novocaine a mentor... one of the pack's overabundance of yearlings. Even better, it was the boy Cat claimed as her son. Who says nepotism is dead? he thought to himself with a purely mental scoff that he barely caught in time to keep silent. An untrained, untested baby training another baby... yeah, that was going to end well.

Oh, so he wasn't going to get away with staying in the background the whole time - Cat's next order of business seemed to be to order him and Daegmar to do what they were already doing. Though he really liked that bit about being able to punish those who didn't bother showing up. He stirred himself as Daegmar answered for the both of them - not because he minded, but because she hadn't asked the question he wanted answered. "An' do we have your.. permission," he hesitated only a moment before he huffed out the word, an improvement from his usual disgusted expression with the word, "to... encourage more enthusiasm at the next? Was fucking pitiful at the last. Just showin' up isn't going to help anyone. If wolves don't start hopping-to in training things are not going to go kindly to them." His teeth flashed in an obviously threatening way at the thought. He had been about five seconds from snapping completely at the last session with the effort of not... encouraging, the more lackadaisical pack members in a more violent manner than he had.

"Speech"
the sins of our father, the sins of our young
Hati isn't nice. He swears, he is violent, and is more than a little insane. If you can't handle what might come of that don't thread with him.

Hati wears a bear skull on his head unless otherwise stated in the post. He also has a ram's skull that might be switched in sometimes if he finds it again.
