let's stick together just a little bit longer

There was so much that grew out here. Kiriko could barely believe it, really. The Oaks were so alive with it. So many different plants, and she was so happily drawn into it. Though it was winter, the temperatures remained fairly agreeable. Soggy, yes, but not too cold. The earth was soft, sodden, and gave way beneath her paws in a comforting way. It was a grounding experience, one that left her feeling more connected to the world around her. Connected, even if that was a prospect that scared her. Terrified her.

She was learning to deal with it.

Her gaze was careful on the ground around her feet, brow drawn, careful. Browsing for herbs, looking for something new and interesting to bring back to the garden. There had to be something good out here. If she could focus on her herb hunting, then she wouldn't be focusing on... well, everything else.
