After the Raid, Wylan’s interest in healing shifted. Before, his priority had been growing things. That seemed to be what his mother specialised in, or at least what he saw in day to day life. Now he wanted to understand more about a whole new world of exciting things. Like guts and bugs that pinched wounds closed.
As soon as he got a chance, he went hunting for that purple toned yearling that had told him exactly where guts were. He clearly knew what he was talking about, and was happy to share that information with the pup. With his fathers companions' help, he found Ansem in the Col and trotted up to the older boy. “Hi, I’m Wylan!” He said, even though it was the second time he’d given his name around the boy. “Can you tell me more about guts and stuff?” He asked, tail wiggling excitedly behind him.
