The flood had come without warning. Silent had been hanging out with Bronze when the world began to move about. Alert settled across her features as the rest of the pack began to move and race around the den she was sitting in with her blue solider. A brief nudge was given to Bronze before she initiated them leaving the cave.

Emerald eyes got big as she watched what was coming towards them and she did not waste time. She moved quickly, paws carrying her towards a part of the land that would be higher than the upcoming waves. Rain poured all around and she listened for more signs of moving from their ruler as bronze followed behind her, never slowing down their pace.

Everything happened all at once. The storm struck, hard and fast, thunder booming through the mountains. The way it echoed from one peak to the next was ominous, and even Tethys - who rarely got intimidated by things like weather, being a child of the north - felt uneasy because of it. When the torrential rain began she was torn between seeking shelter and making sure her immediately family was okay. Wherever they were she had no idea, and navigating the packlands was increasingly difficult as the rain began to fall harder and the world was plunged into darkness.

Sirius's call echoed faintly in the distance and she moved to oblige, though she hesitated for a long moment before heading that way. Once she nearly got there and noticed the absence of her siblings' scent she went a different way, trailing after them as best as she could given the rain. Stratum letting loose a call for help quickly diverted her, and by the time she reached them she found Ansem and Grimoire there. Her brother was unconscious, and panic immediately set in. "What happened?" She asked quickly, hovering over him with brows furrowed tight with worry. "Can we carry him somewhere higher? I think we need to," she urged him, sounding a little desperate.

It seemed he and Silent were some of the fortunate ones, not caught out unawares in the storm when it struck. The thunder was an indicator of what was to come, but he couldn't have anticipated just how devastating the torrential rain was about to be. Even when the two of them left their den the rain began to fall harder, but neither wasted any time in seeking higher ground. There were sights and sound that indicated the danger that some of their packmates were in - but his priority was in keeping Silent safe, first and foremost.

He climbed higher with her, a difficult feat in the steady rain that drummed down around them and completely obscured much of their surroundings. Each step was riskier than the last, the already uneven terrain now even more treacherous as the rain turned to a full flash-flood. His chest was heaving with exertion as they continued their climb, aiming to stop somewhere that was completely out of harm's way, though he feared they might not find that so easily given the weather conditions.
