Star
Greek often kept family close, extended members were still very much involved and revered. The Dunamis were no exception. It seemed the Elders decided to send some more Dunamis to Boreas. From what Enyo assumed, word had gotten back to them of Erebros' foothold. As a result, the Elder council saw fit to send someone over.
And they chose none other than Starchild. What a name. Enyo snorted as she walked through the cave system, trying to find where her cousin may be residing. It had been a couple of days. If the Dunamis' trip to Boreas was anything like Enyo's, she needed time to rest and recuperate. However, enough time had passed.
"Star!" Enyo called out, her voice echoing down the hall.
"SPEECH"

The cavern was damp in places and dry in others. Thankfully, most of the chambers that broke off from the main pathway seemed to be fairly dry. Star considered choosing one for her own den and she she had begun inspecting each empty room. Since she would be staying in these lands, assisting Erebos in claiming the title and lands that were destined to belong to the Dunamis, she may as well choose something to her liking.
Since Star wasn't keen on physical touch, it made sense for her to den further away from others than might be acceptable. She was fine with that. Appearances didn't matter overly. Family would understand her position and non-family didn't matter.
As the striped fae inspected the various stone rooms, a grating call came screeching and echoing through the cavern. Ears tucked back against a delicate skull and Starchild hissed, nose wrinkling. She'd recognize that voice anywhere.
Poking her head out of the room that she was in,icy eyes fell upon the hulking form of her cousin, Enyo. Moving into the long, stone passageway, Stars tail swished lightly back and forth. "Enyo," she greeted with a nod. "You look well," she complimented honestly.
She is always accompanied by a peregrine falcon named Merlin and a very nasty Tasmanian devil named Dundee who will bite you.
Enyo stood tall in the dim light of Whisperer's Gorge, her silhouette casting a long shadow against the rugged stone walls. The echoes of her call faded into the cavern’s depths, but her piercing gaze remained fixed ahead. Mild anticipation coursed through her. When Star finally emerged, the delicate figure of her cousin seemed almost ethereal against the ruggedness of the gorge.
With an imperious tilt of her head, Enyo regarded Starchild. Where Enyo exuded raw power and a commanding presence, Star was the embodiment of grace and elegance. The fae’s pristine coat gleamed with a sheen that reflected her meticulous nature, and Enyo couldn't help but admire her cousin's dedication to her appearance.
"Star," Enyo replied, her voice deep and resonant, laced with a mixture of affection and the subtle edge of authority. "Φαίνεσαι καλά(You look well)." The compliment was genuine, though Enyo's tone carried an undertone of expectation. An unspoken acknowledgment that appearances were a reflection of one's worth.
Enyo stepped closer, so she wouldn't have to holler. Her muscular frame dwarfed Star’s delicate form. "Ελπίζω ότι η διαδρομή σου ήταν... ικανοποιητική?(I trust your journey has been... satisfactory?)" Her icy blue eye locked onto Star’s cerulean gaze, assessing not only her cousin’s well-being but also gauging her readiness to engage in the political intricacies that lay ahead. Enyo’s formidable nature often demanded that those around her be prepared to navigate the shifting tides of power and influence, and she silently hoped Star would rise to the occasion.
"Υπάρχει περισσότερη δύναμη και δύναμη από ό,τι χρειάζεται, χαίρομαι που έχω έναν έξυπνο και λεπτό πιόνι όπως εσένα(There is more than enough brawn and strength, I am glad to have a coy and subtle pawn such as yourself.)" Enyo continued.
Enyo’s gaze softened momentarily, revealing the depth of her loyalty, even as her inherent dominance flickered beneath the surface. "Εκτός αυτού, υπάρχουν πολλά να συζητήσουμε σχετικά με το μέλλον των Dunamis. Θα πρέπει να είστε προετοιμασμένοι για αυτό που βρίσκεται μπροστά. Εάν χρειάζεστε οποιαδήποτε πληροφορία, θα χαρώ να σας συμπληρώσω. Μας έστειλαν πρώτα για να κάνουμε τα πράγματα πιο αποτελεσματικά για το δεύτερο κύμα. Δεν χρειάζεται να χάνουμε χρόνο ανακαλύπτοντας αυτό που έχουμε ήδη (Besides, there’s much to discuss regarding the future of the Dunamis. You’ll need to be prepared for what lies ahead. If you need any information, I will be happy to fill you in. We were sent first to make things more efficient for the second wave. No need to waste time discovering what we already have)."

"My journey was nothing to complain about." Indeed it had been standard travel. There was no one with her to slow her down and nothing to distract her from learning what she could as she moved. That was the good part about being as independent as she was. No baggage.
As Enyo spoke, one dark brow lifted. The larger woman's wording was unsatisfactory. A pawn? Star? No. Whatever non-blooded underlings the Dunamis might acquire... those would be pawns. Star would never be anyone's pawn. She contributed because family was important and because, in the end, it would all benefit her. Star didn't speak out against this slight, however. She simply watched the other woman and listened.
Enyo offered information and it was something that Star would gladly listen to. However, the striped woman would make her own observations. Not being a member of brute force, she saw the world differently. That was why she was unique and why she had been sent for ahead of the next wave of Dunamis.
As she listened to Enyo speak, Star began to notice other things. Other sounds. The steady dripping of water from the ceiling of the cavern seemed to sing as the droplets reverberated and hummed against the stone. It was a comforting sound and it made the smaller fae want to stretch out on the cool stones and take a nap. Her nose twitched as smells from deep within the twisting, winding caves blew outwards. Musty, stagnant water, large predators, old bones. She couldn't wait to investigate more.
